This is our first experience using Better Home, and it has been absolutely a wonderful experience. From meeting with the sales team, to the actual crew, everyone is very positive and is willing to take the time and explain what is going on. Love how involved everyone was and how efficient at cleaning up the mess was each and every night onsite.

Have expanded our business with Better Home to include: Siding, a new entrance door, and now (soon to be installed) double garage doors.

Will be calling them back out once we are ready for a basement remodel.

Other positives include: very competitive pricing. For what we paid, loved the service!

Marylou Martino and her crew were amazing!! From design to all the little details, and solving problems, Marylou and her carpenters were very professional. A 1940's cottage was brought back to life. Review is a year and half since the completion of a complete siding replacement. Quality materials with a foreman that has numerous years experience and extremely professional. Foreman with helper are the only ones doing the labor which keeps a consistent installation with great care. Neighbors have and continue to give positive comments on the project. A material shortage created a delay which required a few follow up calls along with a couple minor touch ups. The owner immediately calls, each time, to speak with customer and makes schedules. I continue to recommend Better Homes Siding and Improvements.

Working with Mary Lou and her team of carpenters was a breeze. They came in and did their magic! My home has been transformed and everyone loves the color/trim! When the job was completed, the clean up was like they were never there.

They refurbished my shed and it came out absolutely awesome. The workers were great, on time, great craftsmanship, very kind, and helpful. Dealing with the business and going through the process was smooth, enjoyable, and affordable. I am very thankful and highly recommend.

My exerience with Better Homes was pleasant from the start. May Lou Martino was prompt about getting back to me when I reached out for a quote. She also was constantly checking in on the job progress and visited the site numerous times during the work phase. Better Homes Siding and Improvements is an A+ company. Mary Lou and her crew go way beyond their jobs. They arrive on time, picked up after themselves, very responsible, trustworthy and will do whatever to make the customer happy and satisfied. I recently had an old wooden deck taken off and on new one put on a second floor. I used this company about 6 years ago for siding and 54 windows replaced in the home. I love the windows and 3 years ago, a new roof which Mary Lou helped with having it replaced. I am so happy with them that I don't ever bother getting prices from other contractors. Don't need to because I know she will go through whatever extremes she and her crew has to for the customer to be happy. She works non- stop including weekends which is unheard of. She is honest and very meticulous in her work and will stop by to make sure the crew is up to her standards. Her crew is unbelievable and their attention to fine details and great ideas are so welcoming. I am now waiting for new doors which Mary Lou has worked endlessly on finding what I wanted and needed. I won't work with anyone else but this company. The best is that Mary Lou stands behind her work and I have called her throughout the years with questions or problems that may have come up. She returns phone calls usually within 24 hours and will meet with you at your convenience.

My wife Sharyl and I were looking for a good company to give our 1956 ranch home major curb appeal so we looked into several siding companies, we chose Mary Lou's company for several reasons. She took the time to show us what our home would look like with the color siding we chose, no one else did that. She was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. She was also able to start right away and she worked with us on financing. When Alex and his crew came out to do the job we were blown away at what an awesome job they did. Alex is very skilled at his craft and the trim around our windows and doors is top notch. I am a sheet metal worker and I was impressed by his skill. We are having the new gutters installed tomorrow and I have no doubt they will be installed with the same level of professionalism.

MaryLou and her crew did a fantastic rehab of my home. My friends affectionately used to call it "The Hobbit House" because of all the moss on the roof and mold on the siding. The windows rattled in the slightest breeze, my back porch was moldy and sagging and overall I had a sinking feeling when I drove up to my little house.
Now I love my home. The color we chose for the siding is clean and chic, Cape Cod Gray. MaryLou suggested design upgrades to improve the overall curb appeal so we added vinyl shingle siding to the front to complement the overall look. At the last minute I asked for a front porch portico and her team was able to build exactly what was proportional and appropriate for my home from just my drawings.
MaryLou spent considerable time helping me pick new windows, French doors and storm door to match my style and the area homes. They are wrapped in bright white trim that makes them pop. The roof is no exception. After peeling back the layers we determined I had to have the whole roof torn off and new plywood installed. MaryLou worked with me on the pricing and within two days I had a gleaming roof-no more moss!
As I sit in my new sunroom with brand new airy skylights and reflect on this huge upgrade, I have to say I am so pleased I made the decision to go with Better Homes Siding & Improvements. There were no hidden costs and no surprises. People walk by my house now and reassure me it's the freshest in the neighborhood.
The quality that I appreciate most about MaryLou is her constant communication with me throughout the remodel. I never missed a day of work, the quality of the products and workmanship is first rate. Better Homes is an experienced company with an efficient process. They created our semi modern home into a beautiful modern one. We got a combination of vinyl and brick vinyl and it came out beautiful. Mary Lou works with you from the beginning to the end to make sure you have everything that you wanted. She gave us multiple pricing options to meet our financial needs. She gave us tips on how to do the framing in the back and even let us run with our creative side in having that brick combination. We also wanted to have the house done by our wedding and she made it possible having it done two months before. We love how our house looks now and couldn’t imagine better contractors or a better person to go with.

We had the whole house sided, rebuilt two decks, replaced front and two slider doors along with gutters. In addition, we had two windows added in our kitchen. This was a total makeover of a fixer upper to a beautiful modern look of a home. The owner of the company, Mary Lou Marino, met with us 4 times to finalize the project before we signed the contract. She was there through all the stages of the project, which took 6 weeks as planned. Her crew was amazing! We run into an issue with some concrete retaining wall that was discovered after demolition of the front porch, and we had two days to decide how to revise the original design. The leading contractor was very knowledgeable and gave us an excellent idea which made the front of the house very grand, balanced and welcoming.
We used their electrician as well and he was very thorough and accommodating.

Despite supply chain issues, we were able to get top quality vinyl siding, (in the color of our choice - no settling necessary) windows and composite decking at a fair price. Our 1948 tired home has had quite a facelift. It’s stunning. Our back deck resurfaced and our original windows replaced! The crew assigned to our project are among the best, if not THE best, in the business! Such attention to detail - no question or concern was ignored but addressed immediately!
