We have been to the Ellsworth Hammonds Lumber for two projects so far. Rick, in countertops was very helpful in choosing a granite vanity top and completing the order. Bill, in windows provided information and options for replacement and new build windows to complete one of our last home improvements. We appreciate the team at Hammonds as we settle into our new home here in Maine.
Dear Hammond lumber company owner, I reviewed your response to my post about your employee's code of conduct. And your solution to this issue is loading and unloading policy?? I have been delivering to this location for years, sir, never had a problem. When you respond to my statement and review about this location, at least be honest. And most of all,have some dignity and address to people what really happened. Some of your employee's need customers service training and most of all sensitive training. For being so disrespectful. In closing; all I was doing is my job. If you are really the owner of The Hammond lumber company in Ellsworth maine, you would have contacted me or my company about this incident. Not respond to you a review. Follow up, 7-29-24, Hammond lumber owner, first and foremost tell the truth and have dignity. I was approached one time by your unprofessional receiver who desperately needs sensitivity training and people skills training. After that I addressed it to your manager about the situation and he stated " get the F- out my yard. You have the audacity to state that no policies were violated?? This says alot about you and your company.
Their “custom building” section was pretty darned impressive as were the folks who worked there. The hardware store part has a nice selection of items and is well stocked. We went in looking for a screen door. They didn’t have the size we needed but offered to order it for us. Obviously, it’s a much more personalized experience than going to a big box store. Conveniently located.
