This is our second time working with Terence when purchasing a Honda. He did a phenomenal job and went above and beyond. Taking his time to go over everything with the vehicle so I didn't have to fumble with anything. I would highly recommend working with him and this dealership.

If you want to buy a car for Dahl Automotive, Sheboygan ask for Reggie! He was great to work with. Made sure that I knew everything about the car before I drove it. There wasn't any pressure to buy. Overall, great experience with the Dahl Automotive Team.

Accidentally ran over roadkill and it damaged the under carriage of my vehicle.. I took it to Dahl Honda expecting a pricey invoice and they fixed it for free in no time at all.. they even washed the car for me as well..( it needed it!)! I highly recommend using them for any of your Honda needs.. if I buy another HONDA I will certainly be going to Dahl!

John ziemann was phenomenal along with Derric lightle, they both worked hand in hand to accomplish every task needed to move forward with the sale. They were comprehensive to the point and answered every question I had with avid concern. I wasn't left with any questions or concerns that may provoke me to be worried about the decision I made. With these two gentlemen when you get a handshake it really is a guarantee.

For now, 5 stars. The salesman, Andy Lee, was great. I thought he went above and beyond. He was able address all of my concerns and got me a fair price on a vehicle. As far as the vehicle is concerned, only time will tell. It looks like it's in great shape and well taken care of.

We were looking at Honda Pilot Passport but it was orange so we did not get it. Couple days later Reggie (who was fantastic by the way) texted me that they got a Sonic Grey one in. We went to look at it and loved it and bought it.

Thank you for your response. However, your internal processes routed me directly to the service advisor with whom I was having the issue, contradicting your claim that customer care is your priority.
Update: I am currently 2,725 miles post fuel pump replacement with zero issues. I replaced the O2 sensors myself—work I would have gladly paid your dealership to perform. My OBD system remains code-free, confirming my original diagnosis was correct while your technician’s “catastrophic engine problems” diagnosis was false.
The $318 in unauthorized charges should be refunded immediately. Holding someone’s vehicle until they pay undisclosed fees is unacceptable business practice.
I’m open to further discussion if you have specific proposals for resolving the $318 unauthorized charge issue.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

As a woman stranded 1,100 miles from home with a car that failed due to a recalled manufacturer part, I felt harassed, bullied, intimidated, and treated like an idiot by Dahl Honda. When I called about my broken-down car, they showed no interest until I mentioned being 1,100 miles from home - then they were suddenly eager to help.

Service Advisor Rodney had no basis to treat me like an idiot who doesn’t know basic mechanics, yet he used every interaction to intimidate me because he knew I was trapped without my car:

**Created false urgency** - insisted he needed to tow my car immediately so he could fix it Friday without delaying my trip, wouldn’t wait for my roadside assistance

**Sent a $3,400 repair estimate** - tried pressuring me into extensive unnecessary work, claiming “catastrophic engine problems.” When I refused the $3,400 repair, he claimed my personal items were impeding his ability to work on it

**Psychological manipulation** - made sarcastic remarks about having to “move my car to a service bay” when I asked for repair timeline.

**Fear tactics** - asked where I wanted my car towed after the fuel pump repair because it would be “undrivable” with catastrophic problems

**Belittled and intimidated me** - when I questioned unnecessary diagnostics, told me “I pay a guy in back $50/hour to make these decisions.” The diagnostics were completely irrelevant until the known issue of the fuel pump was repaired. Three independent mechanics told me his diagnostics were unreliable because I had a known recall on the fuel pump and would get false information until fuel was properly delivered

**Held my car hostage** - refused to release it until I paid $318 in unauthorized charges. When confronted, Rodney admitted “I should have made it clear you would pay for diagnostics”

**Systematic intimidation** - every single interaction was designed to scare and pressure me into expensive unnecessary work because he knew I was stranded and vulnerable

**His diagnosis was completely wrong** - after being forced to pay to get my keys back, my diagnostic codes cleared in 30 minutes and I drove 1,100 miles home with zero problems, proving the fuel pump was indeed the issue and his engine diagnosis was false

This dealership left me feeling exploited and vulnerable when I needed help most. As a woman stranded 1,100 miles from home due to a manufacturer recall, I deserved basic respect and honest service, not intimidation tactics and unauthorized charges.

It took me ‘some’ time to decide which vehicle was best for me. Reggie was very patient and understanding. Never giving up that he would find one that I liked and was in my price range.
As he located vehicles he would text me the information for my review. He listened and only sent me information that met my criteria. I appreciated a salesman that didn’t bombard me with vehicles that were not what I was looking for.
I also appreciated the two gentlemen who helped with the purchasing paperwork. There was a kink near the end and they both went above and beyond to do right by me. I would highly recommend this dealership.

Was told on Monday afternoon that the transmission in my SRX was beginning to fail, too expensive to fix. Knew I needed to act fast but dreaded the experience of car shopping/buying. On Tuesday I was considering buying an SUV I didn’t love when my daughter suggested we check out Dahl Automotive, recalling the great buying experience she had with Reggie a year ago. So we did. Surprisingly, and in the pouring rain, Reggie met us in the lot. He not only recognized my daughter’s Bronco but then immediately recognized her as he began to introduce himself. We were invited into the welcoming environment at Dahl. Reggie patiently and actively listened; through question and answer, he became intuitive to my vehicle needs and wants. He then made recommendations while respecting my budget and without becoming pushy. I began to develop a sense of trust when he introduced me to the Subaru Crosstrek Sport, a vehicle that surprisingly “felt just like me.” We came to a good deal on Wednesday; yet, as excited as I was to jump into the Crosstrek, Reggie didn’t let me leave until I felt completely comfortable with respect to every single feature within and upon this vehicle. Huge thank you to Reggie Agnew and the friendly staff at Dahl for making this a satisfying no-pressure car buying experience. I love the Subaru and am a customer for life!

I started coming to this establishment while it was still under international auto ownership, the buying experience was not the best, and I was pushed into a car when I said from the get go, I wasn’t interested in any sedans. Regardless, I now own a car I am unhappy with, that I may add was on their lot for almost 325 days.. and I received 0$ in any incentive towards the car. They also tried to take me for almost double on my trade in. NOW my car has 8k miles, and it’s been making some concerning noises. The now Dahl auto, has made this process HORRIBLE! I have had to go in person 2 times just to have an appointment set up.. this was not including my actual drop off for my appointment, or when I have to go pick my car back up, as it is still sitting there. They claim they cannot find the source of the problem and that it is “safe to drive” I am now stuck with a car that sounds horrific at 8k miles. My assumption is they do not want to pay for anything while it is under warranty, as when they called to tell me they couldn’t replicate the problem, the woman said they had only driven the car for 10-15 mins in a parking lot. Being told nothing can be done, I asked them to look again, to than be told that the technician can’t spend “too much time on your car” when the warranty pays for an HOUR of labor!! Besides this, the overall experience, service center, and buying experience, was NOT one I’d like to do over. I cannot recommend Dahl Honda in Sheboygan to anyone I know. It’s truly upsetting, I love my Honda, just not the people behind it.

I just bought a 2025 Honda Pilot Elite from International Honda Sheboygan. I've known the salesperson for years having bought a previous vehicle from him, so I went specifically back to him. The whole experience was excellent, and everyone I dealt with was helpful and not "pushy." I will likely buy more vehicles from them in the future.

Had an oil change and tire rotation. Took an hour to complete. Lounge was comfortable and WiFi was good so I was able to work while they worked on my car. No complaints. Will be back for my next oil change.

I asked the finance manager to cancel my Honda care and gap insurance back in November 19 2024. Every time I go in and ask how it's coming along I get bull shit like it's the holidays and that is why it's taking so long. The real reason it's taking so long is they never canceled anything. The reason I know this is I called Honda and they told me they have not received anything from International Honda. It's now April 20 2025 and nothing has been done. Don't buy nothing from these guys because you cannot trust them to do anything. This is the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth!

As a 10 year customer, I was surprised when I arrived and they didn't have my information in the system. Apparently it was because I created a service appointment online. I was told that the wait would be 2 to 2.5 hours and that a colleague would be keeping me updated. I opted to wait in the waiting room. At the 2 hour mark, I went to the service room and asked for an update. They couldn't find the tech but I was told that we were "on the other side" - I didn't know what that meant. Was told that they would get an update to me which took another 20 or 25 minutes, and it would be another 30 - 45 minutes. After 3 hours I was ready to pay but was told at the window that if I used a credit card, I would have a 5% charge. I was doing taxes and left my check book at home. I said that if I had known....but it didn't make any difference. I went to Lindsay, the manager, and let her know that I was upset that I wasn't told ahead of time (I had two conversations between my online appt making and the actual appt.). Lindsay pointed to a small sign in front of her computer. Oh my goodness. There are so many posters and signs, how could I see this little one when I was focused on identifying a person to check me in. She would not remove the charge, but offered that I go home and get my debit card. I work. I was sitting for 3 hours in very uncomfortable chairs, my computer battery was gone, there were no outlets available, and my body just hurt. I left. One of the services I ordered was new floor mats. I needed the front driver replaced. Halfway home, I realized that the cloth mats I had were not ordered. So I now have 1 rubber mat and the rest are cloth. Not one person could point out that they ordered a different set ($279.00), and offer to install a matching set. So many years I've had such good service.....this was a disappointment. No manager on site.

I just replaced my 2007 Toyota that had just over 110,000 miles on it I haven't looked at new cars for almost 20 years, and was dreading trying to find a car that was as dependable and had all the new features I wanted.

I was able to do a lot of research online and then narrow down my choices by visiting the International Honda Sheboygan website. I went in and test drove several models and decided to buy a Honda HR-V.

The salesperson, John, was extremely helpful. Not pushy at all, and he gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. After agreeing on a fair price, I purchased my car.

I picked it up today, signed alll the necessary paperwork and drove out of the dealership with a beautiful car as a satisfied customer. The car had plates transferred from my old car that I traded in, and John even made sure that the car had a full tank of gas. He took lots of time explaining all the features of the car and making sure I felt comfortable with everything, especially since I had been driving a car that didn't have the technology and modern features that my new HR-V had

I would definitely recommend this automotive group if you're looking for a new or used car. I bought a Honda, but they also have other major car manufacturers like Subaru, Toyota, etc. Everyone was super helpful and it made buying my new car a great experience.

Trevor was wonderful to work with! International Honda earned our business by being able to give us numbers and communicate via email due to my hectic schedule. I came in with my own financing, spent less than an hour in total in the dealership between test drive, trade in, and final paperwork! He answered all my questions, was straight forward and friendly. Would highly recommend!

The man who repaired my dent did an excellent job. The scheduling department needs some work. I scheduled the dent repair in Feb. I received reminders telling me about my dent repair on March 24. I arrived to be told that the dent repairman was on Spring Break. It would have been nice if International Honda called to reschedule instead of me making a 25 minute drive to find out. May I suggest a separate calendar for the dent repairman. That way if he isn’t coming a call can be made to reschedule.

This review is for my recent experience with the service department. The team contacted me via text to remind me of my appointment and what they needed from me. The rep I spoke with was friendly and knowledgeable. She provided a breakdown of charges and an estimate of additional charges if I agreed to additional service work. She provided the technician’s recommendation and reasoning. They also completed the work within the estimated time frame.

Service was terrible, had to wait 3 hours when my car was already finished and sitting in the parking lot, the people in charge of my keys lost them and the paperwork and was trying to charge me for an oil change even though I had purchased the warranty for free oil changes when I first purchased the vehicle. Then after another hour once I finally got my vehicle key back and had everything sorted when I entered my vehicle my steering wheel and dash was covered in grease from the mechanics not washing their hands and touching all over the inside ruining the inside of my vehicle

Took my vehicle in for scheduled major service. I called and scheduled the appointment which was several weeks off. I arrived on time and expected to spend the day. I was told the vehicle would be ready by 5 pm. I received a message at 3pm that the vehicle would not be ready as originally expected because they had only one master mechanic on duty and they overbooked the individual. I agreed to leave the vehicle overnight, but needed a loaner vehicle to get home and back the next day. I was provided a loaner and was assured the vehicle would be ready by noonish the next day. The next day arrived and I patiently waited for the green light to pick up the vehicle. At about 2pm I received a text saying the vehicle was almost ready and I should be expecting a message soon. I contacted the service department at about 4pm and heard back that the vehicle was out for a test drive and I should head in to pick it up. I pulled in at 5pm and found my vehicle waiting. After finding an anomaly with the bill which was corrected promptly I paid my bill and left very dissatisfied with the experience. At this point I can only assume the mechanical work was done correctly, since I got home without any issues. I was very disappointed with the service manager who overbooked the mechanic, and didn't keep me informed when it became apparent that it was going to take a second full day for the service.

If you want to be talked to for hours on end like you are an idiot, this is the place to go. Went in with a few very specific cars I was interested in. Was told over text that I could come in to check out a Rav4. I get there and the sales guy tells me that actually it hasn't passed the WI State Inspection yet so I can't drive it and it'll be at least 1-2 weeks before it's available to finalize the purchase. But he wasn't afraid to tell me that they would want a deposit on the car. Next went inside to sit down and discuss what else may work within my budget. He went to get keys for cars that he didn't even show me and I had zero interest in (go in looking for a Manual Hatchback Civic or Rav4 and guy tries selling me a HRV???). Finally tell him that if he can work with me on numbers, I'd buy a new 2024 Civic. Tell him I won't finance longer than 72 months, and don't want to go over $300/month (I had a VERY large sum for a down payment). Comes back with an offer ranging from $327-$382/month and not even including tax/title/fees yet. Can't seem to understand that my past loan was at a higher interest rate and had 2k more on the loan and my payments were still over $80 less than he proposed. Said he wasn't a math guy so couldn't tell me why that was the situation. I walked and the next afternoon got a lengthy text filled with typos and repeating the same stuff he told me the day prior. By the text alone, it was clear he didn't listen to me at all regarding what I wanted or my concerns. Went to Morries in West Bend and found the perfect car at a great rate. I don't like leaving reviews like this, but felt like I was being lectured by my father for 4 hours of my life. I'm a young girl but I'm not stupid. He also flat out told me that their mechanics don't do a great job working on anything pre-owned if it isn't Honda, Subaru, or Toyota. He said multiple times over that I was "coming from excellent circumstances" because I had a large down payment ready to go and I had excellent credit. Felt like he was basically trying to convince me that money should be no object because I'm doing well for myself. I could go on for hours about my experience. But to put it simply, I wouldn't buy a car here. The financial guy I talked to for 10 minutes helped me more than the salesman did in 4 hours.

The annoying:
1. The last time I got my car back from Honda service, the work was incomplete. Had to come back again, a major inconvenience.
2. When I bought my car, Cleo lied multiple times trying to sell me add-ons, and almost scared me away from buying here. When I ultimately declined his pitch, his attitude changed from friendly to hostility.

The good:
1. Daniel Castillo was a very good sales consultant, and I would gladly buy from him again.
2. Alex in Honda service knows his stuff and helped me understand how to quickly correct a headlight issue. Good guy.
