I've lost count of the number of times I've cursed this company for the wretched work they did restoring my home. At first glance, it looks good, but when you look closer, you begin to realize how many corners were cut and how terrible the work was without enough consideration for how it would be to live in the house afterwards. Spaces are cramped, floorboards are coming up, the electrical work seems like it was done by a child. I would NEVER hire this company. Note: this was when the company was called ARS
I was a bit nervous about having blue sky come out to me. Once the team got to my home, it was then that I saw that the team as the ARS team. I was so happy to find out that ARS is still in town but just now go by blue sky.
I travel for a living and last Christmas, my house flooded while I was out because of a freeze break in the kitchen. The kitchen, living room, and the whole basement were flooded. After contacting the insurance company and having the heat restored, I contacted ARS when I came back after New Year's, and from then on, it was like pulling on a mule: nobody knew who was in charge of the project on my house and constantly calling on updates on asbestos testing and drying, etc. People like me don't have experience dealing with flooding and disaster clean up, so we depend on companies like ARS to make it easy, and inform is at every step of the process, but it was not the case with ARS. It took nearly five months to get it taken care of after the incident. I would not recommend ARS to anyone; they're in it for just the insurance money since they bid out their work, and we get what they pay for: lowest-priced work while they charge full price. I talked to one of their contractors, and he proved me right. I ended up paying $1500 out of my own pocket for shoddy work that I had to redo myself.
Save money and headaches by going somewhere else.
Tyrel, Gabr, Ariel and Jacob worked so hard and did such a wonderful job. They were very professional. They made sure everything was done to high standards. I built large custom homes in Dallas, Texas for over 20 years I would hire all of them Ben was great at coordinating everything and also working on the flooring and making sure the mold was all gone. This is the third time I’ve used them and every time they have done such a wonderful job. I really appreciate them helping me. This time I’m getting over Cancer and couldn’t do the things that I usually do but they were great Lee Holmstead.
We had a small flood this spring, so we called ARS to clean it up. They responded very quickly and did a great job. They were easy to work with, and the response team was excellent. We had Thane, Logan, and Ben working on our home and they were wonderful. They did a great job and we're pleased with their work.
After the storms this winter I ended up with a damaged roof and a leak. Thane, Jakob, Sean, Gabe, and Ben were all so quick, kind, and professional! They were so careful and considerate and I appreciate that so much. Thank you!!
We found the dishwasher had been leaking. My insurance called ARS and they responded so quickly, I was absolutely amazed. It was 3 pm on Friday and I thought they’d have us wait till Monday. Nope. They sent Thane and Jakob and those guys busted things out! I am beyond appreciative of them and hope they know how awesome we think they are. Thanks Thane and Jakob!!!
We had ARS come out to our house over the weekend because of our sump pump not working and our crawl space flooding. They were responsive and had people out quickly for an after hours call, the workers were professional and answered all of our questions. They left the sump pump as well as a dehumidifier and we were able to get the crawl space completely drained. We unfortunately were one the the unlucky ones that insurance didn’t want to pay for any work that was done. Dan was our estimator who helped us and we really appreciated his professionalism and understanding during this super stressful time. He was able to work with us to get us a fair price since insurance wasn’t going to pay or help out. He was understanding even when we were stressed and maybe not being very nice ( sorry Dan). We will recommend ARS and make sure to tell everyone how they were able to work with us on everything. Thank you guys again!

We had a great crew that consisted of some amazing guys. Jakob, Nick, Carson, and Thane came out to our house the night we found mold in our walls and worked early till the next morning to ensure we had everything we needed to get started on the mold treatment we needed. They put in a lot of hours and hard work into our unfortunate situation and made sure we were in the loop about everything. Quality guys did a quality job. Highly recommend!

In September we had our basement flood, shortly after calling ARS and speaking with Adam they showed up with all the equipment to pump the water out. ARS came out ASAP to check on our situation within about 2 hours of making a phone call. We had a water issue on the second floor. They came out made a diagnosis with specialized equipment, taped up the relevant areas and began the tear down. They stayed until about 7pm and had humidifiers and drying elements rockin' it. Thane told me he'd be out tomorrow (Saturday) to check on the situation. I'd recommend this outfit in a heartbeat. Class act employees with a great vibe. Thane and Carson took great care of us. Grateful!
We had a water problem and the team at ARS came to the rescue from Thane answering my questions, to Jakob seeing if everything was dry. But the most important part was the team of Carson, Sean, Taevon and Oakley with Jacob and Thane working together to haul out my wet carpet, my wet drywall and insulation, move my belongings. They were helpful and were respectful and hardworking. Ben should be proud he has such a good team to work with. Thanks so much.

We just finished our basement a few months ago. My husband went downstairs and saw water in the bathroom, part of the family room and both bedrooms. We called ARS and they sent Tyrel to our home. He was so efficient and was very thorough in making sure the basement look like new again. Tyrel made a daily visit to make sure the drying process was going as planned. Each day he gave up a report so we knew exactly what was going on.He was so pleasant to be around and wanted to do the best job for us. Hopefully this will be the last time for a flood, but I know I will ask for Tyrel to come. He was amazing. ARS is the best.
We had water come in from our basement window which soaked some of the drywall, insulation and carpet. Ben, Thane and Sean came to do the assessment, demo and mitigation of the problem areas. This is an easy 5-star review, and a much deserved one. Big shout out to ARS, Ben, and Kade for their help, and an incredible job well-done. Kade knew right what to do when he arrived on site – he quickly dialed in a plan of action, then determinedly got to work.
Even though we had a good start on the flooded area prior to ARS’s involvement, it was highly beneficial to have them evaluate the situation and execute next steps. Kade was able to use a hygrometer to determine water saturation. The hygrometer – coupled with Kade’s experience – is excellent at providing readings in hard-to-get-to/hidden places – e.g.: studs, soles/sills, joists, subfloor, drywall, etc.; this greatly assisted in knowing which areas needed more attention. The hygrometer also provided immense peace of mind by establishing that problem-areas really were drying and returning to safe levels. In the areas that needed more attention, Kade was able to run an industrial-grade dehumidifier, and more insightfully position fans.
When ARS arrived, we had fans running and were doing the best with what we had. Even so, our household fans were not suitable to put beneath carpet and carpet pads – on the other hand, Kade set up very stable, robust, high-output fans that were able to operate beneath the carpet/pad. This allowed the carpet/pad to balloon out and float over the cement beneath – it’s remarkable how quickly everything starts to dry if you can get airflow between the concrete and the carpet/pad. Once again, as helpful as our household fans were, they simply were not capable of that set-up – so grateful to ARS for providing the right tools for the job, and for Kade’s expertise and know-how!
As a final thought, per this recent experience with flooding and utilizing the help of ARS, I thought back to when the basements of other family members flooded. Many good people combined to help, but I am left wishing that ARS could have assisted in the clean-up – with the right tools and the right approach. I believe that overall flood damage would have been minimized, microbial growth inhibited – even prevented, and that their basements could have been restored to a comfortable and livable space.
For those of you with flood damage – I feel for you. I hope very much if you need the help of ARS that you will have a great, 5-star experience, too!

We were visited by Thane and Jakob, who called first to let us know they were on their way, and were on time for our appointment.They were great young men, very helpful and very professional. They took the time to explain things to me, and when they had ripped out the damaged flooring, they cleaned up the debris and took it away with them. I would definitely recommend ARS to my friends and anyone who needs this type of business.
I called ARS to come and treat some mold that we found inside our bathroom walls during our remodel. Ben came and looked at it and told me what they could do for me. The tech Kade came and did the work, he went way beyond what I expected. I would use ARS again without hesitation. Great company, very professional, and very personable! 5 STARS FOR THE CLEANUP
We had a flood in our newly finished downstairs at our cabin in Garden City. It included a large family room, large bedroom, large mud room, bathroom, laundry room, utility room, small room under the stairs. We found the flood as we arrived around 8:00pm on a Thursday night. After we turned off the water and looked through the mess we began to make phone calls. We called ASR in Logan at around 9:00pm and they had a crew out to our cabin by 10:30pm. They worked through the night and all day the following day. They followed up with fans throughout the basement for about a week. They were friendly and respectful. They did miss some of the tearout but overall they did a great job. I would definitely call them again in a situation like this.
3 STARS FOR THE REBUILD
We had ARS do part of the rebuild and that did not go as well.
We used ARS because they were local and their cleanup crew was impressive. We had a contractor in SLC that we knew and trusted, however, he was only available to do part of the work as it was a long drive to Garden City. We asked Nick, the project manager at ARS, if they were OK working with another contractor for part of the work. We were told "yes" from the 1st phone call. We quickly found a problem with communication on the side of ARS. Because Nick did not oversee the work done by his employees and did not communicate with us when he was told, by his employees, that there was a problem, the problem escalated. Now, we will need to redo a huge part of the refinish work on the interior walls. We just want our cabin to be nice again like it was before the flood. That is not asking too much. We felt like ARS should meet us somewhere in the middle on responsibility for the bad finish work. After going back and forth with ARS and not getting any resolution on this situation I was given Tom Hales(General Manager at ARS) name. Tom and I met and went over everything that had happened. I feel Tom looked at both sides of the situation and was willing to do whatever it took to make it right. That goes a long way in a situation like this. I really appreciated his willingness to meet me in the middle.

Water damage from my dishwasher destroyed all my laminate floors. I live in Garden City Utah, and I thought it would be a nightmare trying to get a restoration company here to remove and replace my floors.
I have never written a review for any establishment before. However, I was compelled to share my experience I had with ARS Logan. My restoration team included Adam, Daniel, Dan, Ben, and Matt. Before contacting ARS Logan, I called Lowes and Home Depot to try to schedule floor replacement. Both companies told me that they were 3-4 weeks out, and that was out of the question. I then called ARS Logan and spoke to Adam. I explained to him that I was having out of state guests within the next two weeks. I was amazed to see that Adam jumped through hoops trying to get this project done in a way that unbelievably exceeded my wildest expectations. Within two days from contacting Adam, he had Ben and Matt come out to my house. They moved all my furniture and appliances, dried all the water damaged areas and prepped everything for install. I was amazed to see how fast and thorough they were as well as showing great customer service.
Once Ben and Matt were finished, the carpenters Daniel and Adam came out to lay the floor and replace all baseboards. Daniel was so meticulous with his carpentry work while custom making the baseboards including the staining that matched perfectly.
The entire project was done to perfection in approximately 2 and a half weeks. The other companied could not even start the job in that time period. I most highly recommend ARS Logan and their team of professionals for any emergency when quick response time is needed.

On June 10, 2022 I came home from a trip only to find out that my basement had flooded. I reached out to ARS and they were on site very quickly! They begun the process of extracting the water from the basement and setting up heaters and blowers to start to dry things out. Daniel, Kade, Greg, and Tom worked well into the early morning hours to be sure that my home was taken care of. Thank you so much to these awesome guys!!
Tyrel and Kade did an amazing job. Our home had a slow leak that resulted in mold, ruined drywall, and ruined carpet. They got here on time, assessed the situation, and got everything taken care of. The best part is they worked so cleanly, no flying dust or gross carpet being dragged all over the house. Would absolutely recommend!
A huge shout out to Thayne, Mindy, Daniel, Greg, Nick (I think I missed a few people) for the awesome job you did cleaning up my flooded house. Thanks also for not letting my cats escape.
My toilet flooded at 10:00 pm at night, I called that night to ask questions and ARS was willing to come right away (although I told them it could wait until morning!) First thing in the morning Thane and Logan, the responding technicians showed up. They worked quick and got everything cleaned up. Adam was the project manager and stayed in contact with me through the whole repair process. We are very pleased with the work ARS did for us!
My ice maker hose came lose and flooded my house. We called ARS and Tyrell and Kade showed up, got right to work and took care of everything. They were great about explaining everything to me and letting me know what they were doing, what was going to happen and made me feel that it would be all right. Ben came the next day, checked everything, moved stuff around and explained where things stood. I so appreciate everyone I have come into contact with at ARS, it has been a good experience in the middle of a horrible problem.
Thane and Taevon were very knowledgeable and professional and I highly recommend ARS . My besement flooded and they were here in just one hour and stayed until the job was done

Kade Brown is the reason I am giving a 5 star review - he was one of the guys to respond to the flood and came by several time to help mitigate the water damage and make the carpets were being dried correctly - there were others guys not as great as Kade. One of the last tasks was carpet cleaning and Kade was extra diligent to do a good job I am very happy with Kade's work .
ARS was hired to clean the mold out of 2 research labs and they did an excellent job. Very thorough job. They also needed to replace the floor mats and that was done meticulously. I highly recommend the ARS group from Cache Valley Utah.
We had a water/sewer flood from a main floor bathroom to a basement that caused a significant amount of damage. We called ARS to help with the cleanup and repairs. This was my first experience with a cleaning and restoration company. Nick did a great job coordinating cleanup, assessing damage, and working with our insurance to put us in a good position to make the needed repairs. Thane, helped with most of the cleanup along the way. He was always there when he said he would be, and always called before he arrived. He made sure to check moisture levels and ensure everything was removed and treated that needed to be. Once things were worked out with the insurance, within a couple weeks, we had people there working on the rebuild process. Greg was our project manager we really appreciated the efforts he put in to coordinate the rebuild with all of the contractors. He even worked extra hard to coordinate with the flooring company to do all of our flooring while we were on vacation (two full levels, tile, hardwood and carpet). We came back to a totally different home. Daniel was also very nice and professional, he helped us with our cabinets to make sure our toe kicks looked great before he installed them. Overall, ARS did exactly what they committed to doing. I feel they have strong connections to contractors and are able to get you cleaned up properly and put back together in a timely manner. It's never easy to go through something like this, but we were grateful for all those who worked hard to make our home safe and beautiful again.
Be aware that this company will take about 35% of the allotted amount given by the insurance company. We had $7500 allotted for flooring and were only given a credit of $5000. We were told that they need that amount to keep their business running. We felt like they did a great job at cleaning but a poor job at repairs. I recommend that you take on the responsibility of the repairs yourself because they take so much. 10% for overhead and 10% for profit is the rule of thumb but they will take much more than that. Their communication was also lacking. They did a lot of listening but didn't follow through on any of it until I became angry. They spilled paint all over our carpets, damaged an heirloom, and left horrible messes after each repair.
This is a long overdue review. My family has been through some horrible hardships! ARS came in as part of a “Christmas present”. I honestly don’t know how payment went but I suspect one gentleman paid a reduce fee and ARS donated the rest. It was a huge struggle for me to allow this to happen, a big hit to my ego, among other reasons. But I can’t even explain how much comfort they brought….as well as some great men and a dump truck! They even removed some old carpet out of my living room (which wasn’t even planned in their day of work). This review wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t mention one of their laborers, Logan. Logan was the hardest working young man I have ever met! He was also kind and considerate of my house, my family and my house! Logan did have some helpers, but he could be a one-man crew! Amazing!! I would never hesitate for a second to use ARS again (and trust me, I WILL), but I highly recommend them to everyone!! I wish I could give them 10 stars!!
Thane and Kade responded to a pretty severe water leak from washing machine. They were very thorough in cleanup and incredibly professional in answering questions and helping us navigate the mess. Told us exactly what they were doing, why they were doing it, and what the next steps and timeliness of those steps would be. This is the second time we have utilized this company for water damage cleanup and their expertise from the first time was the reason we immediately called them the second time. We HIGHLY recommend this company for any services you may need. Quick response time, professional and knowledgeable staff. Definitely 5 start service.

My experience has always been professional, friendly, honest and straightforward. I’ve never had to worry that Nick would be anything but honest. Nick became a trusted consultant between me, my insurance agent, possible seller and remodel person . I could not have made it through that last disaster without his patience with my depression and multiple decisions with long term impacts. He worked to make it financially possible to deal with a disaster - I would trust his advice on anything with construction. Nick helped me , kept his team accountable, expected and got professional results. Mindy worked with Nick to make sure the finances were scheduled and worked well for all. Mindy kept in close contact band was willing to makes appropriate/needed changes.

Thane and Ben made an extremely stressful situation, easier for my husband and I to deal with. They were at our house within 30 minutes of our call. They help us minimize water damage, answered all our questions, they were great with our kids, and all their silly questions. As our flood was after hours. They were so willing to leave their families to help ours.
It is hard to find amazing employees like Thane and Ben these days. Thane and Ben, thank you for being patient, understanding, and most of all, so friendly.

Job was in two parts drying and refinishing. Drying: they (Nick and Greg) came and set up drying equipment and it seem to do the job to make take the moisture out of the floor. Refinishing: Due to scheduling it took a long time to get the refinisher (Matt) but the final result is very nice. It was a lot of work. Thanks to all of your team for your help!

While they were able to clean up our water damage, that's all they could do. They say they Cleanup, Restore, Rebuild but really ALL they do is just the cleanup. When asked if they could replace our drywall that they had to tear down, they said, "Oh no, we don't do that."
They also were extremely non-responsive. They would leave and say "someone will be back" but couldn't say who would come or when they would be here or what they would be doing. A guy would come and do something and never say what the next step was or when it would be done. Someone would call and say he's our "Project Manager" and then we never heard from him again. We would call the office and no one ever knew what was going on with our project. Twice they said our team leader or project manager was on vacation and we would have to wait till he's back.
Maybe we just caught them during a busy time, but the extremely poor customer service and lack of follow up was inexcusable.
We had an exterior sprinkler issue that flooded a basement bedroom on a Sunday morning. We called ARS and they were there within the hour to begin mediating the problem. The clean-up team was terrific and very thorough and checked in with us daily until the moisture was gone. From there, Greg coordinated the repairs until we were ready to move furniture back in the room. The two repair phases were smooth - MIke handled the first portion and kept us informed every step of the way. His workmanship was both flawless and seamless. We worked with Custom Flooring and they too were efficient. Once we chose our flooring, it was installed ahead of schedule. Eduardo did a superb job of the baseboards and I am REALLY pleased with how the room looks. I hope I don't have another water issue, but ARS will be my first call if I do. Thanks!
