Salt City Roofers

Failed to obtain proper permits. Failed to build the job to code. Failed to stand by their work...in my case, they failed to honor their workmanship warranty. The Midvale City building inspectors said Salt City Roofers should have permitted and should make corrective actions to their code violations. I try to be fair but they expected me to fully pay them to correct THEIR mistakes...even pay them for time they spent with the building inspectors. I guess their warranty means they will correct their mistakes...if you continue paying them!

Update: I have had to contract with a civil engineering company to engineer a fix to their work. I have also contacted an attorney because they will not honor their warranty.

These guys act nice and seem professional, but be careful. Check with other companies....

I had a small roofing job for an enclosed patio, but it needed ceiling and electrical work as well. I had a difficult time finding a contractor who would fix everything I needed done. Brock was great. He was very responsive and his team fixed all the issues with my patio. It turned out even better than I expected and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My experience with Salt City Roofers was better than expected. My old roof failed and I needed to get it fixed ASAP! I had one week to get bids and get the roof completed before the weather turned nasty. Brock had the bid ready for me at the specified time and started the job the following Monday. The price was right in line with the other bids I received, however, the standards were quite a bit higher. High quality was extremely important to me. I don't want to re-visit a roof issue for a long time. I chose SCR because Brock spent so much time with me, making sure I had no questions and understood everything the bid included. The job was completed timely, despite a few expected issues that come with a 100 year old house. Brock was always in contact with me anytime anything came up. He was also quick to respond when I contacted him. There were no unexpected change orders and the final cost was fair and within $150 of the quoted price. My house is beautiful and I am very impressed with the work they did.
