Evan was a breath of fresh.air. He texted the night before and let me know his arrival time. I appreciated this greatly. He arrived on time. I showed him what needed to be done. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and hardworking. He completed all the work in a timely manner. I truly appreciated all he did. I would hire Evan again.

We had Sam and Kirby come out for a demo and estimate and my husband and I were impressed with not only their product knowledge, but their honesty and demeanor. We were planning on getting more estimates for our windows, but after hearing their pitch, we felt really good about it and went with them that night. Throughout the process, we've found the company to be top notch. Communication has been timely and thorough, scheduling was prompt and easy to work with and each person we've worked with from the company has seemed to have pride in where they work, which says a lot. Do I think the windows we're getting are the cheapest option? No. (Although they weren't as much as I thought they'd be given the quality.) Do I think they're the best option? Definitely. Highly recommend and will update with finished shots of the windows once installed.

The person who came and our bid was very nice.
The person who came to do our work was very nice. He cleaned up after himself. He didn’t leave a mess. However, I pointed out several times how short I was yet my showerhead I cannot reach. It is too high. We were under the impression that they were going to be using the hose and showerhead in addition to the showerhead that is not the case it’s very difficult to give my dogs a bath and a shower. The curtain rod is too high. I can hardly open and close the shower curtain. All of these take extra effort. The shelf the highest one is too high. I cannot use it. All of this is very frustrating considering the amount of money that is invested. That I did mention how short I was And to keep that in mind

Very prompt, did a great job installing, knowledgeable and kept work area clean. Love our new windows, look and have already noticed a difference in the sound and R factor.

The process took only one day for demo and installation of our walk-in shower. Everyone was courteous and knowledgeable and the finished product is fantastic!

Great windows and the most installer’s did an excellent job. Now the wind doesn’t come in and it keeps the inside warm.

Rick did the install of our large living room window. I would have Rick come and do anything else that I would need done in my home as he takes his time and explains the process from start to finish. Clean up was awesome.
The whole YHIC experience was a bit off in areas but was able to work thru those issues with them, overall a pretty good company to have around.

Very pleased with the instillation of our walk-in shower. The only complaint would be ,upon instillation , the installer didn't have a piece of trim to match our shower. Placed one that was a close match and informed us that when he got back down this way( we live 90 miles south of Bismarck) he would change it out. Never happened.

We had a great experience with YHIC. Craig was incredibly helpful in designing our front door and windows. He was great to work with, and the final result looks amazing. Highly recommend!

They were very professional and respectful. The windows were replaced in an efficient manor, the cleanup was acceptable. I did have one window that didn’t seem to work quite right, but Tony came and took a look at it and now it is working just fine. Could have just been an expansion/contraction thing as I live in a very old house. The new windows certainly helped to keep it warmer!!

Our shower turned out very nice; as it was described during the initial visit. We are very pleased with the installation and workmanship. We will definitely recommend them to others .

We have had a great experience with YHIC . We made an apt to meet with someone at the Ag show in Minot and we were very pleased that an apt was set up immediately. We live a little of the beaten path so its difficult to get contractors to come out to us.
Sam Olsen was wonderful . He gave us the most thorough walk through of their products and how things would progress. It was far more in depth of a meeting then we could've anticipated. The project shower became a much larger job then we were aware and therefore the price was more than we had anticipated but Sam was very patient and at no point pressured us to make a decision. He wanted us to be comfortable with the investment if we decided to move forward and ultimately after more details with their warranty we chose to proceed.

We have two young kids that kept asking him to play and he was so kind and friendly with them even stopping to spend a few minutes to build blocks with them before he left. (seriously, who does that?) Thank you Sam for your kindness and knowledge of your products!

Our installer was Timothy Bruestle and he too was wonderful. The shower was a long project and he worked 2 very long days to get it finished for us . He was very patient with our girls letting them ask questions while occasionally watching him work. We had no idea how much work would go into our shower build but seeing everything that Timothy did in the short window he was here gave us a greater appreciation for the beautiful work when it was finished. What impressed me the most was the clean up. We have had contractors for various reasons out here...NONE of them have even remotely cleaned up the way Timothy did. You honestly couldn't even tell we had work done in the basement. I honestly don't even know how he did such a nice job given we lost water the afternoon he was finishing up due to a power outage. He left the place better then how he found it. It was such a nice change and shows how much they truly take pride in their work.

We are very happy with our purchase and our communication with the company and when it comes time to do more remodeling projects in the future, we would absolutely use them again.

Brandon came and looked at our bathroom and we ended up doing the whole bathroom. They were so good and clean when doing the bathroom. We love the room and are so glad we went thru these gentlemen for the conversion. All advice they gave us they was greatly appreciated.

I felt the sales rep was very accommodating and was not pushy and the installer was so respectful with his equipment and made sure he tidied up before he left.

After filling out a request for a quote Craig came out to Sidney, MT within a few days! He spent an enormous amount of time with us going over every inch of the remodel we were looking to do. We had two large bathrooms that were 40 years out of date and required a special touch due to the unique custom work required in these bathrooms. A few months later Wylie and Zach showed up and they performed the demo and reconstruction of two bathrooms within 5 days! With Craig's attention to detail and the impressive workmanship of Wylie and Zach, our bathrooms look amazing. The products YHIC use are first class, for example the real wood cabinets, doors, and drawers, all made in the USA is nice to see. I would recommend the company for sure and encourage anyone who is looking to remodel to give them a chance at the project. Thank you Craig, Wylie, Zach, and Matt!

Had John and Kirby out recently to show us the product. Overall, it was a great experience. Both were very knowledgeable and professional. They definitely do a great job at selling their product without coming off as your typical “salesman”. They had us at “Made in USA”. They set the bar very high, we are expecting top tier installation and customer service as they promised. We are very happy with the company, products, and associates thus far. John and Kirby went above and beyond to be sure we were 100% informed on the product and were able to answer any questions we had.

Big shout out to Kirby who was on time, knew his job and product inside out, and was professional to a T. If you're looking for a renovation of your bath, start here first. Everyone else is second best and a waste of time. 10/10

Their Design and Sales Consultant James Callahan was so in depth in giving me knowledge about his company, their product, and their in home financing options and what to expect from them from start to finish.
It’s such a relief to know that there is a company out there that truly cares about helping customers get what they need. To have such a big company backing their lifetime warranty is a huge relief in today’s markets and in dealing with construction.
I will definitely recommend this company to the people I know looking for home remodeling projects.

Had new windows installed back in February which look great and are of awesome quality. Part of this project was to have wood color samples taken to match trim from around the house. It has now been 4 months and our windows remain trim-less. There has been zero contact from anyone to get this taken care of even though customer service assures me that my issue has been passed along. This continues to be very frustrating for how much we invested into this project.

We had an experience with YHIC. Marcus and James came back to do a service check on our shower we had installed back in 2022.
In 2014 I suffered a stroke and decided to get my bathroom remodeled by YHIC. It was the best decision my husband and I made to help keep me in the home.

Landlord had some of the windows offered installed. It's like night and day difference between old windows and new windows. Installer came out and had the windows replaced in a timely manner.

Brandon and James were very well and informational. We enjoyed their company and what they provided and would recommend them to our neighbors and friends and family.

Marcus came to quote my windows n wow did I get more then I intended on. Talk about service at its finest! Would highly recommend him and would use his services. Thanks YHIC!

We seen a flier for YHIC and decided to give them a call. They responded right away and set a time for an estimate that worked well for us after our work day. They stayed in contact with us up to the meeting.
Marcus was our estimater and showed up right on time. He was very courteous, and knowledgeable. Marcus did a great job explaining what their company was all about, what they had to offer, and what they could do for us. He obviously knows his company and products.
We unfortunately were to far off in price for what we were looking to invest. Although we did not decide to go forward with the remodle, we never felt pressured to make a commitment. I have no doubt had we been closer they would have made every effort to close the gap.

My husband and I decided to put YHIC windows in our house. James was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in presenting YHIC windows to us, and he was awesome to work with around our very busy schedules!

I am so pleased with the installation of my beautiful windows. Even during the wintertime everything went well the house did not get cold and Mason was a wonderful person to have work at my home. Everything looks great.

Had a small miss understanding half way through the project. Craig Goettle and Tim worked with us on it and we couldn’t be happier with the results and the way they handled the situation.

As always when you have a contractor come to your home whom you don't know, it can make a person a bit uneasy. It's like winding up a jack in the box and not knowing what is going to pop out! Craig showed up and I immediately felt comfortable. He was so knowledgeable, kind, polite and knew what he was doing. He fixed my screens perfectly, they looked Beautiful! And a bonus.... he was nice to my cats. My windows were put in by Mason and Dakota who were both very polite and knowledgeable, and cleaned up after installation. I would recommend this company to family, friends, and neighbors.

We have had nothing but issues with this company. Our installs are constantly delayed, parts are missing, we were lied to about financing, and it is incredible difficult to get responses when we try to speak to someone. I strongly recommend everyone to stay away from this company and seek services elsewhere.

We were very impressed with the company from start to finish. Also impressed with the tech that came out to install the shower. Excellent company to work with.

New edit to YHIC. After the shower was done we decided to go ahead and get a bow window installed by this company. The crew was very nice and courteous. We love the window and have been very happy with them. Extremely impressed by Craig and how much he helped throughout this process, he answers the phone when I call and would always return my call if he was busy. We will be using them again in the future for the rest of our windows!

Our installer, Tim Bruestle, was amazing! Even though the installation required more work than was anticipated, Tim made sure to keep us updated on all aspects of the job. He was professional and understanding of our needs for the new shower rebuild. We highly recommend Tim for your bathroom remodeling needs.

While the install went well and the shower looks great, trying to get service is terrible! I reported black mold growing in the caulking (which we were told is guaranteed not to mold) almost 5 months ago and it’s still not fixed and we just keep getting the run around. We are not happy that we paid thousands of dollars basically for a headache that was guaranteed not to be. Too many issues with getting service. One minutes we were told the products in and we would be scheduled, weeks go by with no response, called and emailed, still nothing, finally get a hold of someone who is getting “on top of it” right away and more weeks go by and nothing. Finally called and I was lied too that someone had been calling and emailing me to set up service, never received any calls or emails, finally scheduled a day to be called in that day and told there were missing parts so they rescheduled for today and here I sit…it’s 12:10 and they were supposed to be here between 10&11. Talked to customer service and they said they would call me when they know what the hold up is because they show everything should be good to go. They tried to call and text the service guy but received no response. Not happy at all at this point and tired of excuses from the company for not holding up their end of the bargain/contract!

. A representative, Tony, came to give me estimates on my bathrooms. Detailed explanations for what can be done and why. Will consider going with them for improvements two bathrooms in the near future. Appreciated the details and facts and not like my other company’s rep estimate who seemed vague and kinda pushy.

I also had Your Home Improvement do the countertops in my kitchen. I love them!

Craig and Matt are awesome to work with and I would recommend them for your home improvement jobs.

John was a great salesman today! We can’t wait to get our new tub installed!

At this point I am so ready to give the worst review possible. We had our windows installed 2 1/2 yrs ago & have had nothing but problems since! Including poor customer service & taking literally 6 months or more to fix something that needs a repair, which the repairs have been ongoing! The lifetime warranty is essential for these windows as we should just always have an appt set up so we can get things fixed when we need it!
The windows look nice from the outside is all I can say.
First we had at least 4 windows that leaked air when the cold wind would blow we could both hear it whistling & feel it when placing your hand near the window!
Second our living room large picture window has 3 windows, 2 end ones that open & the middle one is a stationary extra large picture window. The first winter, the sealed “gas” that is inside the triple pane that helps the windows prevent outside temperature transfer, is supposed to also prevent condensation from forming inside the window. One had turned white with condensation as the seal didn’t hold & was not helping to keep our home sealed. 2 years later & the unsealed whistling windows finally got replaced. The living room picture window also finally was replaced after at least 8 months.
Third the kitchen window has NEVER worked appropriately. Opened and closed ok to start, but was dragging on the weather stripping between the window & the frame. Finally couldn’t open it at all, I haven’t had a functioning kitchen window for THREE years now! They say they are coming to fix the kitchen window, again.. but the window is crooked in the opening! No matter how many times the weather stripping is fixed it will always be unsealed. I have a spider web inside between window & screen! It is so unsealed my meat thermometer showed 34 degrees INSIDE at the sink last winter!
Fourth- our sliding patio deck door was very nice to start, then the lock stopped working & we had to use a dowel to lock it. This wasn’t fixed for at least 8 months. When it was fixed, the handle was replaced. Worked ok for awhile. Now the handle has cracked in 2 places & barely able to lock it again!
I’ve asked for a regional manager to reach out to us, that hasn’t happened either!
We believe we were sold a product that hasn’t lived up to the hype told to us at our sales pitch & most DEFINITELY not the customer service they talked up as well. We paid close to 30,000$!!!
For example the money we would save on our heating bills!! Not when over half of our windows have leaked for more of the time we’ve had them than not! For the money we haven’t saved & for the time we’ve spent arranging repair guys to come do repairs & didn’t show up or outright canceled, or complete all the needed repairs and we took time off of work all of those times, we would feel better compensated if we received a rebate for some of the payment towards the healthy loan we still are paying on! OR a front door installed correctly at no cost to us!
We regret we went with this “Your Home Improvement Company”! Because they haven’t done what they told us they would for our home, not in any way!
Their commercials on the nightly news or during the Twins games, really irritate us, trying to do the same thing to many other people!
We live in Bismarck ND & the company is based in St Cloud, maybe it’s the distance or that the repair crew in Bismarck is worse than other places, however all of these are arranged through the St Cloud home office. We didn’t sign up for this treatment! The owner should take note & make it right for us, we can only tell all our friends & family… DON’T USE “YOUR HOME IMPROVEMENT COMPANY”! Our neighbors have asked & we said.. DONT USE “Your Home Improvement” company!
