He was so professional from our first meeting through the installation. It is so important to have clear and timely communication during a project and he responded immediately and updated me constantly throughout. The installation team was so productive and did such a great job on time and leaving the installation perfectly clean. I love my new roof and feel this was a wise choice after interviewing five other companies!

I had my roof replaced by Whitaker Roofing in Flowery Branch and I can’t say enough good things about them. What really stood out was how Larry and his team handled everything with my insurance company. At first, the insurance only approved a partial repair, which would have cost me thousands out of pocket. But Larry and his team went above and beyond. They took videos, collected samples, and kept pushing until the insurance company approved the full replacement.

In the end, the insurance covered 100 percent of my roof replacement, minus my deductible, and even that was partially covered by Whitaker Roofing. My deductible was higher than most, but I still only paid a few hundred dollars out of pocket instead of $20,000.

The roof itself is excellent quality. I did my research, and the materials are built to withstand heavy weather and meet high standards. The crew was in and out in about a day and a half. They were professional, cleaned everything up, and didn’t leave any damage behind. It was like they were never there, except I now have a beautiful new roof.

I also felt a lot better knowing they were local and had already done several houses in my neighborhood. That made me trust them even more compared to just a random company knocking on my door.

Very pleased with this company! Drew and his team did an outstanding job replacing my roof along with my window shutters and sealing up my chimney cap. Storm chasers, Cade showed up one evening around 7pm to Henry county Ga said I had a "lot" of damage, called my insurance company, filed a claim, adjuster came out said I didn't have ANY damage. So I called another roofer in my area and he stated the same, "NO DAMAGE"

I am disappointed with the level of professionalism and transparency exhibited by this company. My roof was replaced in January 2025, which was completely well, not going to take away from that but prior to the work being done, I was informed that my sister—who referred me—would receive a referral incentive upon completion. Despite multiple follow-ups in April, neither she nor I received the referral reward.

I even offered to have the referral sent directly to me so I could forward it to her. As of June, after yet another follow-up, I was told by Larry that the reward had been sent. I informed him that neither of us received anything and asked for confirmation or proof—there has been no response since.

To make matters worse, I referred another one of my sisters to the company. Her roof was also completed. However, I was then informed—after the fact—that because we are all “tied together,” no one would be eligible for referral compensation. Larry vaguely implied that the reason was related to outstanding funds on my second sister’s account, even though my own roof was fully paid off in February.

This explanation makes little sense, as the referrals and payments were separate and handled at different times. The entire situation feels misleading and poorly managed.

In the end, it feels like the referral program was just a sales tactic, not something they intended to honor. Communication was poor, and the overall handling of the situation was unprofessional.

My experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I recommend seeking out another contractor to avoid the lack of follow-through and questionable business practices I encountered even throughout my process of my roof being completed.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! PLEASE CHOOSE ANYONE ELSE!!!
The roof was replaced in December of 2024-- that was a rough experience in itself, but I only have limited space to write my review.
In January of 2025, we had a snow storm that dumped a few inches on us, and having had the rood recently replaced and with melting snow, I decided to look around the attic and in the interstitial spaces in the house to check for leaks and to my surprise, I found a very noticeable leak in the interstitial space near my children’s room and near a chimney on the rear of our home. The leak was very noticeable and required me to place a bucket. I took video and pics and sent to the roofer because now I had this great 5-year “warranty” so surely, they will take care of it. Afterwards, one of the original roofers was sent out to check the problem—it was the coldest week of the year (sub-freezing for a week) everything was frozen. The roofer spoke very little English, his very young son tried to translate as best he could (but it was not very successful), and the roofer went on the roof wanting to capitulate rain with my “frozen” water hose—needless to say that was also unsuccessful, but as a consolation prize and to not make a complete waste of time on the roof, he did point out that I had a crack in the mortar of the chimney that was in the area—clearly this MUST be the issue and they don’t have to worry about this. So, after a few more videos, scheduling challenges ( I do work and they needed to come inside), we get to May 2025 (yes, the roof has been leaking all this time and I thought that I could depend on a “warranty” to help me), and now I have sent my 3rd set of videos, asked them to come out because my children were experiencing weird and acute respiratory symptoms (as of May 2025; MOLD was cultured from this interstitial space and in the vents of my kids room), one episode ended up with a visit to the ER and after expressing this to Whitaker Roofing, I got a message saying, “we are dropping everything and will come over on Wednesday”! Wednesday morning gets here and, after proactively reaching out to confirm their arrival, I got a text response stating the appointment is cancelled/not happening?? An hour before and after I took the day off to be sure I was there?? Before the cancellation, I was kindly reminded that a while ago you (I) stated that I didn’t want them to come back—that was a petty, low-blow, BUT can you fault me???
In summary, the “friendly face” gets them the business and your money, and the “warranty” is simply code for, we got our money and will get to you if we can or if we want to.
At this point, Whitaker Roofing has not reached back out—they knew the roof was leaking in January 2025 and if a person was worth their salt, they would want to make sure, at the very least and even if they did not have a good relationship with a customer--they would want to protect the work they just completed—but not TEAM WHITAKER, they clearly don’t care about me, my family, and if kids get sick and this is VERY SAD and is exemplary of what plagues our society today, lack of concern, empathy, and NO INTEGRITY. Even though I have a “warranty” I, NOW, DO NOT trust them to do the right thing, be honest, or fair (and their continued silence speaks volumes).
Whitaker Roofing, please know that God (yes, capital G!) sees you, knows what is and isn’t right, and one day, in some facet of your life, you (as a company and individually) may experience an unfortunate event like I have, and when you do, just remember what you put out there first. I just pray that the people who wronged you, make it right in some way and it does not hurt any of your families. Some people hide behind silence, but REAL MEN do what’s right and until they do, it will usually follow you and haunt you. If you are a prospective customer and are reading this review and you are deciding whether to go with Whitaker Roofing and have ANY other options, choose one of the others, save yourself the pain and frustration. Our roof was damaged during hurricane Helene last year. Our original insurance inspection was timely, but only accounted for damages immediately visible. When we contacted Whitaker Roofing, Gavin Scarbrough and his team made a thorough inspection of the roof and damages. Gavin contacted our insurance on our behalf and after some back and forth, turned an original estimate for a few missing shingles into a full roof replacement which was needed due to the actual damage. Once settled with insurance they were quick to schedule and complete the job. The team was professional, respectful of our property, and completed the job in 1 day including a complete cleanup. Victor and his crew demonstrated excellent craftsmanship and exceptional attention to detail. They clearly took pride in their work and were respectful of our property throughout the project.

He worked with my insurance company to ensure I received the best outcome. Installation crew was prompt efficient, and the end product was breathtaking. Like most consumers, we are terrified of getting a new roof, but this is one of the best experiences that I’ve had with a company.

If you're looking for a company to replace your roof you need to seriously consider these guys. They replaced our roof, and it was bad. Very old.
But they did an amazing job. They completely tore off 3 layers of old shingles, it was that old. It had old 1x6 original fecking.
They completely redecked it with solid OSB and layed architectural shingles, and what a great job!

WRC Roofing impressed me with their post-Hurricane Helene service. Heather Ridings's excellent communication, thoroughness, and respectful work (quiet inspection, my fiance and son were asleep) made my experience positive. I really highly recommend WRC due to her dedication and helpfulness.

After Hurricane Helene, it was hard to get anyone to commit to come out and give us a roof inspection/estimate for our church. Checking the mail we received a flyer I called and was asked to leave a message. Shortly there after Drew returned my call and we were able to start moving forward. Drew made the process very seamless. He took the time to meet with the church and explained all of the products and processes. We did have a couple of rain delays but he always stayed in touch and was able to assist with any questions we had even assisted with a couple of insurance questions. I could not recommend Whitaker Roofer higher. I live in London and came home to visit my mother, only to find her roof leaking during the last hurricane. I called several companies but when I met with Whitaker Roofing's representative Drew and explained my situation he was quick to help. Photo 1 below is the original roof and photo 2 is the new roof. Their installation team was also excellent and went above and beyond providing us with a new roof. They took their time to ensure the work was done correctly. The job took 13 hours to complete and the team worked diligently to complete the job in the same day. My exhaust fan roof vent had failed which over years allowed water to leak down the exhaust pipe onto the ceiling in the attic. We saw the stain from inside the room during hurricane Helene heavy rain. The following morning I called Brent Whitaker, who that same day sent Edgar to replace the vent and boot for a very awesome price. Peace of mind now knowing there won’t be further issues. I recommend Whitaker Roofing to anyone!

We had a new roof installed on Tuesday. Jared handled everything with our insurance company and communicated with us through the whole process. He went above and beyond to make sure they covered our entire roof. The materials and dumpster were promptly delivered and the large crew was in and out in about 5 hours. We could not have asked for anything more from Dakota and Whitaker Roofing. Dakota was a pleasure to work with- no pressure, answered all of our questions, and made sure the things we were concerned about (clean up and the cable line) were managed appropriately. He demo’ed how the roof would be installed and the differences in materials, which was something we have never had another roofing company do. Dakota also worked diligently with our pest service who need some things installed just so, so they could come back and do some work after the install. Dakota got the right people together and hashed it out with no issues. Everything went smoothly.

We worked with Drew to get the job set up. He was always punctual, patient, and friendly. Once construction began, Dante and his crew worked quickly and kept our yard and driveway free of debris after they left each day. We’re fully satisfied with the process and the new roof.

Our roof had wind and hail damage. It looked so bad that people would notice it as they drove and then cold call a sales pitch, but we didn't know if we could trust them. Drew on the other hand, came recommended from a friend. Drew worked diligently to get our insurance to honor their policy even after we were switched to 3 different adjusters, with delays each time. Even after I was ready to just give up, Drew coached us on how to advocate for ourselves. Finally, after all the approvals came through, Drew helped by giving us a detailed explanation of the build process, so that we could make an informed decisions and choose the best option for us. The build day was very convenient. We had a job transfer out of state, so with the new roof, two hours after we put a sign in the yard, we had a buyer.

I had a wonderful experience with Whitaker roofing. Judah and team did an amazing job, from inspection to total roof replacement. The work was done exactly as specified all in one day and clean up was perfect. Our roof is now much nicer and stronger than the roof that was installed when house was built. Prior to meeting Sebastian of Whitaker Roofing, I met with several roofing companies, and at the time, I thought I knew which company I would entrust with the job. Quite frankly, I was prepared to call Sebastian and cancel the consultation. THANK GOD, I didn't. He reached out for a date and time for the consultation prior to me canceling and because he was so kind over the phone, I decided to give him a chance. He was on time and very thorough with the process Whitaker used to get the job done with 100 percent satisfaction to the customer. Initially, when we met face to face, I thought he may be too young to take on such a big job. However, within minutes, I realized that he knew his stuff! Sebastian was the epitome of professionalism during our initial consultation/ examination of my roof. He took the time to outline his findings and recommendations. I was so impressed that I decided

Judah worked diligently until the insurance company paid for my roof (minus a few bucks for depreciation) My roof was in desperate need of replacing after years of use and a heavy wind storm. Judah saved us tons of money and made sure it was completed to perfect condition. The insurance company tried to balk but he knows his stuff! He didn’t give up until they complied. I am a Pastor and want you to know- this guy is the honest real deal! Look no further - btw- he did the same thing for my neighbor! 5 stars +

When inspecting my roof , Chance was very nice & professional . Fortunately there wasn’t enough damage but I plan on using this company in the foreseeable future .

We are super pleased with our new roof from Whitaker Roofing Company! The sales agent (Jared Bennett) and the owner were both very professional, and the sales agent worked with us throughout the entire process. His aggressive approach with our insurance company greatly helped with getting the roof paid for. The installation took only one day, and the crew was very nice and thorough. Thanks Whitaker Roofing! Ya'll are great!

I highly recommend Whitaker Roofing! We tried with several other companies to get our roof taken care of and there was never any follow up, but Whitaker took care of everything for us! Dakota was amazing and stayed on top of the process with the insurance the whole way.

Our roof was in desperate need of replacement so we contacted Whitaker Roofing. Dakota Brinkley was our salesman. He came out to our home and made the process of selecting
a roof painless. He discussed in detail all design options and also educated us on current coding requirements, warranty, and financing. He told us what to expect from start to finish including tear-down of old roof, replacement, and cleanup. The day of the install, the roofing crew showed up early and diligently worked to tear off old roof and installed the new roof all in one day. Upon completion, they cleaned up everything. Throughout the day Dakota came out to check on the progress and asked us if we had any questions or concerns. Dakota’s professionalism was on display from beginning to end. When you have to entrust someone with one of your biggest investments, it makes all the difference in the world to get people who actually care after they have gotten the check. Dakota gets an A++ as does Whitaker Roofing. Special shout out to Cassie Whitaker too for her kindness, patience and professionalism. Whitaker Roofing is a winner!!!

Chance and Anthony were great. The process with the insurance and the company was seamless. By the time I was approved, a week later my roof was up! A week after that (today) I received the gutters!!! My house looks amazing. Couldn’t be happier. Crews were nice, and did a great job cleaning up. Chance came by the following day to do another walkthrough and to set up the day to install the gutters. Thank you to the entire team! * Only thing to add: I bet there’s a software (like Sherwin Williams) that can help with colors for shingles and gutters using your house to assist designing— maybe something to look at?? lol.

Dakota came out to do the initial inspection. He showed me video footage of all the damage with commentary. He came back to give us all the information we needed to insure the job would be bone to our satisfaction. We picked the package we wanted as well as the type of shingle we preferred. Dakota explained in detail but did not pressure us into anything. That was a real plus. The crew came out to do the job and Dakota kept me informed as to their progress. Once finished Dakota sent beautiful aerial shots of the completed project. Completely satisfied with the job that was done and the cleanup looked as if no one had been there. Whitaker Roofing did an amazing job.

I wanted to give a shout out to Whitaker roofing. Drew Miller was our representative and I could not have asked for a better experience. He was very professional and handled everything with the insurance company. They provide quality work and Drew always followed up and made us aware of the next steps in the process. I will be recommending their services in the future!

Peyton did a great job assisting me through the insurance process. He was attentive and resourceful throughout the entire claims process with Allstate. Not only did he get my roof approved but when the crews came out to install the roof they took pictures of where all outdoor furniture and lights were and put everything back exactly as they found it. I recommend Peyton and Whitaker Roofing if you are struggling to get Allstate to approve your roof and any other roofing needs you have!

I spoke with Drew and arranged for him to give me a roof and gutter estimate. I received multiple roof estimates with different prices, based on quality and type of shingles, just as I requested.I also received some great videos on the roofing and gutter systems he offered, again just as I requested. It was a very professional experience.

I’m impressed with the work this community have done on my roof. Chance price and Anthony Wright are wonderful, they ware excellent from beginning to the end. The quality of work / Installation was excellent and professional. Even the installers ware cordial, friendly and respectful.

I was really surprised when I got a text from Anthony and Chance to ask me if is was ok for them to came out on a Sunday to walk around and pick up any nails that ware left on the landscape / ground.

I will definitely use this company in my other properties in the future.

I have had the greatest experience with Whitaker! I took full advantage of their services in the course of my roofing claim through insurance, and they did a really great job working with the insurance company. To top it off, my roof looks absolutely amazing and beautiful. Trust me, I work in roofing claims, I know a beautiful roof when I see one! Ha! But seriously, Whitaker has made this process anything but stressful, and did an amazing and thorough job on my home. Thomas did a great job facilitating everything, and I would 10/10 recommend them for your roof repairs with no hesitation!

Edit after continued business:
This company, WRC, has received roughly $13,000 on my roof already from insurance payments. I owe them my deductible.
When the claim was solidified, I advised Thomas, that we would not have the money for the deductible until the Spring, and would be willing to wait and have the roof replaced when I could pay it. He assured me we could do a payment plan, and went ahead and scheduled the roof replacement for October 2023.
The contractors who completed the work caused damage to my front porch, and blew a fuse in our living room with their generator (the sockets still don’t work because we can’t afford to get them replaced yet), but I was understanding and did not even mention it as I felt the roof was beautiful and was appreciative of the work.
After the roof was replaced, Thomas came by to start the payment plan, and sprung the news that we needed to run my credit. Had I been told this before, I would have refused. My credit ain’t great, and that’s just the honest truth! I was denied, but told a co-signer would fix it. My husband attempted to cosign, but it was still denied.
While we stood there, I asked if he could send me the invoice so that I could start making payments on it. I was willing to pay $500 a month in-house to get it done. he refused and stated they had another financing company that could do it. This meeting took place at the beginning of November 2023.
This second financing company was aggressive and rude in the way that they pursued us for information. We had a family member agree to co-sign, submitted all of our information along with the family member’s, and after over a month of daily phone calls from them, they informed us that because the family member does not live in the house with us, they could not cosign. We were never advised that a co-signer had to live in the home. Had we been, I would have been honest as my husband and I are just that. The two of us. The process took about a month and a half. The denial came at the beginning of January.
Thomas once again assured me that he would look into it again and see what could be done about the payment plan, but I heard nothing else.
About mid-February, a young lady from the office called to ask me about setting up an in-house plan. I told her that, over the last couple of months, my situation has changed as I am now pregnant and have been out of work a lot due to HG. I assured her I had plans to make a large first-payment when I received my bonus from work, and would pay whatever I could afford to pay per month after that. At the end of March, I paid $500 to get started.
On April 22, another lady from the office called and left me a voicemail asking for a call back. TEN MINUTES LATER, I received this unprofessional message. (Screenshot added to photos.)
We followed their instructions, and did everything that they asked of us. It took them 4 months to finally settle on taking payments in-house despite me being honest at every turn and attempting to make payments when I was readily able to do so. Had I not been denied the invoice to begin with, I would have had it halfway paid off by the time I found out I was pregnant.
They have shown unprofessionalism in the form of this text, and insulting my “large payment” by belittling it and stating that “we expected more”.
The gist is.. I cannot, in good faith, advocate for this business when they communicate this way.
0/10 do not recommend.

This is my second time working with WRC and they always impress. The first time was 2018 and again in 2024. Dakota was my contact for the most recent project, and he made sure the work on 3 structures went smoothly. His communication with me and the insurance company was thorough and professional. The crew was fast and cleaned up everything immediately afterwards. I appreciate that Dakota and team made the process so easy and stress free. Will continue to call WRC when I need a new roof!

Previous review: WRC made the process of getting an entire roof replacement REALLY easy! They worked with my insurance company from start to finish. All I had to do was pick out the kind of roof I wanted and pay (covered by insurance). It was [very little] time well spent!!
