Daine M. And the team did a fantastic job getting on our new roof … they covered around our home with tarps, threw the old shingles in the dumpster snd carefully went around picking up any nails. Our project was scheduled and completed in 10 days! We had one 10 foot section on a ridge where shingles had been curled back. Daine brought his ladder and did a temporary repair at no charge the same day he provided his bid. We were so impressed we will add solar panels too which should double the roof warranty. This is a local Montana company with over 20 years experience. Their reviews were excellent too. Thank you!

Daine really knows his roofing business and was a wealth of information. He actually got his ladder and nailed down some loose shingles on our roof before we gave Wegner the contract. And he has 3 dogs—-can’t go wrong with a guy like that.

Can't say enough about the help we got from Duane. He spent a lot of time explaining the system, permitting, getting started. He also answered follow-up questions once we were operational. All said and done, eight of my neighbors went with Wegner and Duane. Permitting and inspections were pretty chaotic, but once done, the system was operational. We have had not gliches and have enjoyed our first 5 months of electricity bill-free banking of kilowatt hours of credits. Our only electricity-related is a $4.20 servive/delivery charge. I purchased a solar system 1 year ago. And I’m just now realizing I was lied to over and over again about the cost and the federal tax credit. I am trying to contact Wegner and of course can’t actually talk to anyone on the phone. The salesman I worked with is no longer there. They led me to believe my loan payment would be right around the same as my current energy bill and that my loan payment would stay the same throughout the life of the loan. It’s going up drastically after the first 16 months. Because you can’t actually apply the federal tax credit to the loan.

I worked with Daine from Wegner Roofing and Solar on a couple of projects for my primary home. We had hail damage on the roof and gutters of our house and shop. We also decided to set up a net metered solar system.
The roof and gutter project went really well. The speed and quality of work from the crew was impressive. They took care to protect windows and doors. They also did a near perfect job of cleaning up. I only found a couple of nails from the tear off of the old roof after they left.
The solar project also went well. The coordination and logistics required to get set up for net metering seems to be the hardest part. The install of the panels was super fast and looks fantastic. The electrical work was great as well. The electricians even ran wires through a difficult attic to avoid running conduit across the roof by my request.
There were a couple of annoyances in the solar process that were just customer experience improvements but they do not detract from my rating of the overall great job.
I would like to call out that Brian was awesome when he commissioned the system. He took me through everything and answered all of my geek level questions. He was super knowledgeable and clearly a big asset to the solar team. I just wish he lived locally.
Finally the reason behind two very successful projects is Daine. He is highly engaged and on top of things throughout the process. He helped with everything from insurance adjusters to spending extra time with high-maintenance me going through install details that I was particular about. His communication is honestly unheard of in today’s construction industry and I’d likely want Daine to manage any construction project I could to ensure it goes smoothly. While all of the people I personally met from Wegner were great, I really think Daine was the secret sauce to making everything happen from a customer point of view. I tend to prefer working with local companies to support local business so I was a little hesitant going with a Billings based company but again it was Daine that sold me on the decision to have Wegner handle both of these large projects.

We had been struggling for a few years to get someone who was willing to help us with a problem we had with part of the siding, gutter, and roof on our place in Bozeman.
