Really helped during crunch time! We were selling our house and the buyer wanted the roof replaced quickly. Brandon had great communication, kept me up to date, and was super patient even with all the insurance hassles. Made it super easy. Once work started, they got the job done in one day! Brandon came to our house right away and re-attached a hard-to-reach gutter that had broken away from the roof. He also inspected our roof and all the gutters, cleaned out the gutters and repaired a hole in the siding. He was friendly and did a thorough job! I would highly recommend!

Brandon was very thorough in checking our roof. He offered the roof inspection for free and took pictures of any problems. The problems were few as we just had our roof redone, however some very easy fixes were in order. No pressure sales!

We called Wegner for a quote on some minor wind roof damage. Wegner quickly sent out Mike and Brandon (Rapid City). They provided me a quick short term solution to prevent long term damage at no charge and got me an honest repair quote.

Spent additional time at a later date discussing solar and options with them as well. Brandon was friendly, honest, transparent, communicative, and easy to talk to. While ultimately we determined solar isn't the financial option we need right now, it was a quality experience and likely will revisit another day.

Adam was great to work with through my home’s exterior renovation after hail damage. He kept communication going and worked with me and my insurance company throughout the process and handled any hiccups like a pro. Also a shout out to Mike for all the last minute details he and Adam took care of for me.

The roof of my house had a leak by the chimney, Adam Neumiller came right out to look at it, and gave me an estimate the next day. Once I agreed to have the work done, they got started right away, Irvine (who did the work) was great; super friendly and professional, a real pleasure to meet. After they had finished the repair, the final look was not what I had expected from their description, but Adam helped to come up with a solution the worked for all parties involved. My roof is no longer leaking and for that I am most thankful!

I recently had a great experience with this company. In an effort to research and clarify a question from 3 years ago Shaun Sideris went above and beyond to answer the questions. I must give a big shoutout to Mike Katon and the roofing crew headed up Jose as well as the crew that did my gutters and downspouts. We had major hail at our place in August and the roof was a mess. These guys showed up days after I filed my claim and just knocked it out of the park. Got roof and gutters done complete in 2.5 days. Superb work and great follow-up. I walked around looking for nails on the ground, on the roof, on the driveway and I can't even tell that I had a total of 10 contractors on site;) Fantastic work.

Working with Adam Neumiller as the head of this project was fantastic! He made the process from working with insurance to delivering the final product very simple and stress free, the only thought I had to put forth into the project after choosing the company was the color of my shingles! All of my questions were promptly and professionally answered. The quality of work was quick and wonderful, the whole roof from removal to fully covered again and picked up only took 2 days and areas that weren't properly sealed before had sealant applied and all flashing was new and layered properly down to behind the gutters. Highly recommend!

Received a call back almost immediately after the initial call. Representative Adam stopped by on his way home after work to take a look at the roof before the insurance adjusters appt the next day. He was also present the next day while the adjuster was here with input.

He was quick with an estimate and they were timely in having a date set to start work.

This was not a complete roof, this was a HUGE repair/replace job due to a botched job by another company. When encountering issues with the prior companies work he patiently explained what the problems were and how they would fix them.

We have had a very heavy storm with winds and rain since and all is well so far! Very happy!

Mike has done nothing but lie to us about fixing our roof .I have called every month since May as the roof they put on has leaked and the piece on the end of the trailer blew off so Bob had to get up there and screw it down...every time I call we get an apology and Mike says a crew will be out next week but no one ever shows ..i am so disappointed as we paid cash to get it done and since Gerard left no one cares...

Wegner roofing and solar did an outstanding job of replacing our roof and gutters. They were great in assisting us with our insurance claim and any supplemental claims. Adam and Mike informed us of any upgrades that they thought would be helpful and explained the pros and cons in detail with us. We really appreciated the care and attention they gave us. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing a roof for their home.

Worked with Adam and Mike with Wegner regarding getting my roof fixed and they did a fantastic job. Decent price and roof work finished in under two days once materials arrived and they got started. If you have a roof related issue cannot recommend that crew enough.

My experience with Adam Neumiller with Wegner roofing and solar has been very positive. Adam and Mike went the extra mile in dealing with my insurance company to assure that the extent of my hail damage was well documented and sucessfully ensured that the scope of work required comprehensive renewal. Others in my neighborhood also utilized Wegner's services, and to their credit, I believe all were well satisfied.

We work with Wegner providing sheet metal for their customers installing metal roofs. Riley and Mike are easy to work with and quick to respond to questions regarding jobs. We enjoy working with them.

They did a great job on our roof and got it done very quickly after contacting them. For that I give 5 stars. Also Sarah was great to work with she knows what she is doing and is good at her job. Unfortunately there was miscommunication with-in the company due to some people leaving that we had worked with back in 2022 when the job was done. Wegner tried to come after us for money they claimed we owed them a month after the job was done and we had paid and met the obligations of our contract. For that I give 1 star. Always read your contract and don’t pay for stuff you didn’t agree to.

This company has lied, broken personal property, and refused to finish the contracted job I am paying them nearly $40,000 to do. They were supposed to replace the siding on my personal home, it was supposed to take 14 days. It has been 8 months and has still not been completed. The sales consultant, Brian, has lied over and over, and has been completely useless in assisting in issues or my concerns, he is by far the most unprofessional sales person I have ever worked with. We have a signed contract stating old rotting siding was to be removed prior to the installation of new siding, upon the first day of work the contractors began to install brand new siding on top of old rotting siding. Upon contacting Brian with this issue he lied and said that the contractors were removing the old siding and putting down new siding. We sent him pictures and video proof that the old siding was not removed, and he still tried to lie and reassure us that it was removed. Not removing old siding and putting down new siding voids the warranty, so were you guys trying to be shady from the start and trying to make a quick buck on a single mother’s hard earned money? In addition, The contractors have left construction debris and a large amount of loose nails all over my yard, broken multiple trees, broke my doorbell, broke my fence, and removed my 3rd story deck railing and left an open 40ft drop without any communication regarding this. This created an massive safety issue for myself, family, and animals. There is still currently a laundry list of items that have not been completed like mismatched trim, poor painting, and damaged property and Wegner has made zero effort to remedy this. They continue to dodge phone calls and make promises they will not keep. I have had to take time off work to watch these people working on my house because they have made this entire process so uncomfortable and dishonest. I have spoken to a quality control person multiple times and shared how unhappy I was and nothing is being done. So I’m not sure how else to get you to finish the siding on my home other than this.

Drew and Jorge were great to work with. Easy to talk to and very helpful. Overall customer service was great. Will definitely call you guys for the next roofing job we encounter.

The finished product transformed our house! Beautiful work. While a few frustrations can come up when you're redoing the entire exterior of a home, Wegner salesmen and project managers always listened to my concerns and made sure things were done to my standards. Specifically, Patrick F. handled my account in the end and made sure all the promises from the salesman and project managers came true on my final invoice! In one phone call he patiently answered all my questions and made sure the numbers matched the words of my project manager. We love how our place looks and I feel confident I'll be taken care of if they're needed in the future thanks to customer specialists like Patrick F.

Drew provided a detailed and accurate price quote. The new roof was done quickly and to perfection. All the removal was clean. No mess in the yard.

We signed a contract with Wagner in June to fix our roof. At first they were extremely responsive and helpful in walking us through the very expensive fix. We were told that the supplies were ordered and the roof would be fixed in July.
Cut to August and they still didn't have the supplies and were unable to give us any information. At this point our roof had started leaking.
In September we reached out again- at this point we were trying every week- because we had still not heard anything from them and our roof was leaking with every rainfall- they called right away to send someone out. Someone did come out but NOTHING WAS DONE. Finally, I called Bolt Construction and our new roof was installed within 2 weeks. Wagner was extremely disappointing and we now have extra damage on the interior because they failed to communicate their abilities to take on this job.

Wegner roofing are in a class of their own when it comes to industry standards. Wegner does things the right way. Everything rises and falls on Leadership and the CEO Brandon is a man of honesty and integrity. It shows through the entire organization.

Thanks to Mike Katon at Wegner we averted a small disaster. Our plumber cut a vent pipe through our existing roof and I needed a boot flashing ASAP! This was very important to me, but a small, almost nuisance job for any company to handle an hour away from Rapid City. However, Mike stayed in communication, followed through with calls and text coordination and I am super grateful. Easy 5 Star review for Mike and Wegner!

This company is fantastic. I needed a patch on my roof due to hail damage (Pierre, SD) and Nick and Jordan came out the same day! They have very friendly and knowledgeable staff, I would really recommend Wegner roofing.

Our gutter was coming down so we called and asked for an estimate. This afternoon I noticed drops of water coming out of the hood of my stove, dripping onto my stove. It was a very rainy day and I thought it might have been a roof leak. I contacted Wegner Roofing and Solar and they sent Mike Keaton to my residence. He checked my roof and suggested a solution, which he will do in the near future. Gerard was super easy to work with and very professional. We got new windows, doors, gutters and siding. It all looks perfect and was a stress free process.

Overall I could not have asked for a more negative experience replacing my roof and gutters. It was just under three months between my roof install and gutter replacement. The team left the materials in my yard which killed the grass underneath them. The only time I got service is when I repeatedly called the main office and told them that nobody had completed their work, and then they sent the regional out and I still waited over a month after he contacted me.

What was asked for is payment prior to work being completed. Nails left in my yard, even after asking Jamie to clean them up. Which he stated he would send a crew out, and also offered a few hundred dollars in gift cards for all of the inconveniences. Both of which have not happened yet.

The roof also came up with the first winter storm, and had to be fixed. Mine was the only roof in the neighborhood damaged in this storm which leads me to believe the install was poor.

I understand companies get busy and things slip through the cracks, that is not what I am upset about. I’m upset that I had to constantly call the company to get work I paid almost 20k for done and it was still done poorly.

My husband and I hired Wegner in Rapid City for siding in April 2022. Wegner had numerous problems with their subcontractor and ordering the wrong siding. The work was completed in Sept 2022. After the work was finished, Wegner did not file the insurance claim correctly so we never received the depreciation back from our insurance company. They promised to make it right but its now Feb 2023 and we have never received anything. We will not hire them again.

Michael S. was great to work with! The quality of work was exceptional and his bid was nearly half that of another contractor. I would highly recommend Wegner Roofing.

We used Wegner to upgrade our roof and install solar after a storm last year. I am not the easiest customer as I have many demands, request changes based on my research, and set a deadline before signing the contract. Benjamin Stout mostly handled the roofing and gutters part, and Mike Katon was my Solar guy. They worked as a team and were constantly bombarded by my questions and requests for status updates. Somebody always got back to me promptly, and the overall result of our project was exceptional. Our installation certainly wasn't the easiest or ideal situation, but they overcame and came through for us; Great Job, Wegner! Over 1 MWh production in the shortest month of the year!

I just wanted to take some time to leave a review of my father's experience with Wagner roofing. I myself am not a customer of wagner roofing and solar but my father is. He bought roofing and solar for a house that he's pretty much building and remodeling on his own with some help from myself when I can. He needed to get some soffit frames built the day before the roofers came and it was going to be a pretty big job by himself because they're pretty heavy and I wasn't able to help. Mike from Wagner went to check on my dad's progress that day to make sure that it would be ready and offered to help my dad since he was already there so he didn't have to try and do it himself. I want to say thank you to Mike for taking time out of your day and busy schedule to help him. It says a lot about who is as a person and what kind of company Wagner roofing and solar is.

Wegner Roofing and Solar destroyed my roof, roof decking, facia, and gutters on my house, garage, and shed. They not only had to do a complete tear off of everything and start over not once but twice. Oh I forgot to mention it needs to be re-done a third time. First time was horrible gutters and facia were destroyed everywhere. Gaps filled with silicone on everything including the shingles. Shingles were overlapped not straight and damaged everywhere. Drip edge exposed on edges of roof and cuts looked like the shingles were torn not cut. Gaps along drip edge. Seams everywhere. Did I mention clear silicone EVERYWHERE. Chimney pipes and roof vents scratched and dented. The second time same cuts on edges, but this time the nails were pushed through the roof decking so now you can see daylight through a brand new roof done twice and needing to be done a third time. The particle board roof decking under everything was in great condition, brand new when only one shingle job was done originally is now destroyed. The nails are all over the attic space instead of holding shingles on. There are huge chunks hanging off of it from too large of nails being used plus nails pushed cemetery through which is why daylight is now visible through my roofs of MY HOME !! Drinking of Budweiser Beer by crew members during installation was probably a huge factor. I could not communicate or ask questions with any crew member during installation both times. I am not fluent in speaking Spanish. I can not even express in words what a nightmare this experience has been and continues to be. They have made an exciting moment of relief to a nightmare of sleepless nights and constant worry of every rain drop on roof, and now winter approaching with holes in my new roof done twice so far. I posted pictures on Facebook for public to view. Please go check it out the damages and horrible workmanship is absolutely beyond words ridiculous. Feel free to post your comments on pictures because they are quite impressive in a very bad way. Now the third time all roofing needing to be re done and now a complete roof tear off and replacement needed im dealing with a complete different person. In addition they want me to pay the remaining money of close to $7000.00 to complete payment so they can use the workmanship warranty they offer to fix repairs. I already paid the first half. Pretty hefty price for being left with a garbage roof that you can now see daylight through. Oh did I mention it was re-done twice and now needs to be done a third time. The two times it was done has caused so much damage I now need a complete tear off to the bare rafters, and a whole new roof put on !!! Did I mention its a 1 bedroom house with a simple a frame roof. Yes folks it should have been as easy, and simple on all 3 structures as it would be tk have shingled a dog house but in larger form. Would you let them do your roof for the third time. A complete disaster. My roof and gutters were better off with the hail damage !! Unbelievable nightmare !!!!

Highly recommend Wegner! We worked with John and though he mentioned moving to more solar stuff instead of roof installation, he was responsive, professional, respectful and accommodating! Our roof literally took 1 day to install, and other than a little bit of clean up and a couple emails to my insurance co., it was effortless.

Brandon stopped by to check the integrity of my roof. Very polite and professional. He gave a fair and honest evaluation of my roof. He actually told me my roof looked fine and he saw no reason for me to have him repair anything. I like that kind of honesty.

(First time dealing with an insurance claim) They explained the process and kept me informed every step of the way. Our experience with Wegner started out very positive - a representative came within a day of my call and kept in touch through the sales process. We contracted with them to complete roof, gutter and fascia replacement on our home and shed.

In late May, they received payment for 1/2 down. Roof work began on 7/6 and we were told it was a 1 day job. On 7/10, the roof job was completed.

After following up on a date for gutters, we had installers here in 8/4, but no materials. Finally was told it would be 8/9, but the installers came on 8/7 to put up the gutters. The work was pretty sloppy, downspouts were missing, and all the miscommunications just left us with little confidence. They did allow us to remove the fascia from the contract and provided a gift card as concession for the inconvenience.

When the job started, our shed had a roof and gutters. As of today, 9/5, there are still no gutters, despite many commitments to “take care of it.” When Wegner does finish the job, I’ll make an update to this review. Overall, a disappointing experience with such a highly-rated company.

EDIT: I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or they pay very close attention to these reviews, but on 9/6, a crew arrived to finish the gutters on our shed. Overall, I’m glad the job is finished. Updating to 3 stars. It could have been a smoother process, but in the end it worked out OK.

Will definitely be in contact with Werner roofing soon. A young man by the name of Eddie stopped by my home and was very informative that communicated all the terms that were understandable.

Wegner was very professional, and Gerard did such a great job keeping in touch with us through the whole process. We are very happy with the quality of work done. Would recommend them to everyone.

First of all, these guys had such an initially good communication and start in the process...and then...they did it in a day with three foreigners while charging your insurance well over 10k for bad quality work (wonder why your insurance goes up so much?) Secondly, my gutters weren't pitched to drain, then a year later I found water in my kitchen light because there were nails they left on the roof that worked their way through the shingles! I called them 3 weeks ago and haven't heard a thing back. I can only conclude that they don't care of what quality of work after they get your money!!! DO NOT use this company. I've worked construction and have family members higher in the industry here and neither of us have ever seen "pros" do what they did. I gave them adequate time to fix their mistakes but haven't heard a thing. Repeat: do not use this company!
