Watkins was easy to work with and did a very good job. They arrived as scheduled and were finished with the entire roof by afternoon. They stood by their word at replacing anything damaged (which was only a sprinkler ran over by a delivery driver). They were honest and we did not have any unforeseen costs. They may be a little more expensive than other places, but the peace of mind of knowing things will go smoothly and the job done right makes it worth it.

Watkins Construction is the best, I had a new roof over my sun room last October due age and leaking. I had them come over because I thought the roof was still leaking. They promptly came over and throughly went over the new roof and no leak was found. It was the gutter on the outside of the room leaking. Jay informed there was an easy fix that I could do to fix it. Since my roof was still under warranty I didn’t have to reach in my pocket. They were very courteous. I recommend them highly.

We recently had an issue with a chimney causing leaking in our house. Watkins came out and gave us the option of either fixing it or have the chimney demolished. We decided to have it demolished. The crew came out and did a fantastic job - we can't tell the chimney was ever there. Highly recommend Watkins - they will be our go-to for roofing going forward.

One of my attic vents was leaking. This caused so much water damage that I had to gut and remodel my bathrooms. Rather than reaching out to the original roofer, I reached out to Watkins for leak repair. When we noticed the leak still persisted, they came out again and made sure they go it right at no extra charge. They made good on their work and I value that. They also installed two new vents in my roof for my nee bathrooms. And, they also cleaned my skylight, roof, and gutters. Everything looks nice now and I feel secure in their work. Your home is a substantial investment. But it's also your home -- a place for comfort, rest and refuge. You want to protect both. And something as simple as getting a good roofer goes a long way in doing that.

It was an excellent experience from start to finish. The team was punctual, professional, courteous and tidy. Jay and Jose and the team were outstanding and I’m so happy we called Watkins.

It is always a pleasure doing business with Watkins Construction & Roofing. I really appreciate the recent visit from Jay Walker on a service call. Jay was efficient, friendly, and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Jay as a knowledgeable person in whom you can trust.

Roof repair around a vent. They removed shingles and decking; put new down. Replaced part of the vent to prevent future leaks. They cleaned up after themselves. Repair looks great- you have to be looking for it to find it.

I was very pleased with Watkins. They replaced our roof, some decking and updated our skylight. It looks great. The workman who fixed our laundry room where the tree branch came through the ceiling did a really great job. It’s blended so well you can’t tell it had ever been damage.

The crew leaders did an excellent job of communicating with me about the progress the work, including sending me pictures. The work crew did an all around excellent job. The work site was well maintained throughout the job and we were very pleased with the finished product. This is not my first time to use Watkins and will definitely not be my last. I highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

Great communication and they even came back for a minor adjustment after following up. Roof chimney flashing and chimney cap replacement.

Watkins's is a model for business that puts customers first. After the last rain I noticed a leak from the flashing on the chimney. I called them and they came out two days later to effect repairs. It is rare to find an organization that understands how to keep their customers informed, provide timely service and do their work well and even clean up after the job is done. What is very very rare is a company that can do that consistently over time. Watkins Construction & Roofing is one of those very rare companies. They did work for us about 10 years ago when we lived in another house in Madison. They replaced our hail damaged roof and made sure everything was done right. WELL! They did it again. This time it was a repair of some shingles that heavy winds blow off the roof. They were responsive to install a temporary tarp and then stay in touch with us until their repair team could get here. They just finished the roof repair and did an excellent job. We have a perfect match with the shingles and unless you were the building inspector or our neighbor that pointed out the problem, you would never know where the repair was done, or even if it was done. We need more people like this. If I could give them more stars in their rating, I would. Well done Watkins Team! Johnny

I am very pleased with the repair job that Watkins Construction and Roofing did on my roof. I had some shingles blown off during a wind storm and my roof leaked. The day after Watkins repaired my roof, it rained all day long, heavily at times. My roof didn’t leak anymore! Yay!
Every person that I spoke with was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They kept me informed about when someone would be out to give me an estimate, and when the work would be done. They came when they said they would be there. After the work was done, they cleaned up and made sure there were no roofing nails left behind.

Watkins Construction and Roofing was great to work with and did a professional roofing job! Jeff worked very hard with the insurance company and was really helpful in showing and explaining all of our roofing options. Stephanie kept us up to date on the roofing schedule that changed serval times do to all of the rain we have recieved this spring. The work crew showed up 30 minutes early and worked till dark and had my roof completed and the yard cleaned up before they left. Grady the site supervisor made sure they were doing a quality job and had all the materials they need. My Roof looks great and my yard was cleaned up and no signs of damage to it. Great Job!!

Shan Hales was very professional! Came out to inspect an area of shingles that had wind damage and identified several other problem areas with his expertise. Watkins communicated with me every step of the way. My initial interaction was with Michael Hemphill, and he set everything up. They communicated with me through the entire process. Matthew Hajj over saw the roof installation, and took photos of the entire process from start to finish. I highly recommend Watkins! The are very professional and stand by their work! My advice to anyone with maybe a few dozen torn shingles but no major damage is to simply wait to shell out money for a roofing job. The insurer will only end up paying you for half a roof, and not much at that. This company and probably others will end up invoicing you an amount that's far more than what half a roof should cost. I'm learning this the hard way for about three more months. To sum up: just let it alone if all you see is torn shingles. Wait for the big wind to come. That way, the insurer is much more likely to pay for more of it. To reply to the auto-response, yes, I'm using my alter ego to write this. At least it's not AI :) The nightmare ended this week, and my lesson for the readers remains the same -- everyday wear-and-tear? Let it be. Wait for the winds to come!

A tree fell on our home on Friday January 31st at 2:15pm. Ethan Harris with Watkins was our first call. He immediately jumped into action, reached out to his team and within an hour Gabe Shows was at our house to assess the situation and take photos for insurance. Shortly after Gabe arrived and walked us through the process, Ethan Harris arrived. He supported Gabe in clearing off our roof, identifying other areas of roof damage and then they coordinated with a crew to tarp our roof. This was a Friday afternoon call - they were prompt, professional and extremely thorough. Gabe and Ethan have connected with me throughout the weekend to check on our home and keep me in the loop on next steps. Outstanding job! They showed up early, kept me updated all day while I was at work, and finished quickly. Kept the job site clean and cleaned up when done. Really quality work, including some repairs to 100 year old 1x6 roof decking. Extra care on flashing around vents, valleys, and along eaves. New drip mold. Excellent workmanship all around. Reasonable price. Worth it and highly recommended.

We needed a roof repair due to damaged roof vents and called Watkins Construction, as they had done work for us before. They sent someone quickly who was able to do a temporary fix and schedule the needed repair/replacement of vents. Watkins communicated with us very well and the repair was done in a timely manner.
