I get used Walmart stores are not very clean but this one in Kauai is definitely cleaner than others.
Variety of products is really huge. Service is polite.

You’ll find almost all Hawaiian souvenirs here and much much cheaper!

Great store in Lihue, HI. Everything is more expensive than the mainland, but it is manageable at Walmart. We went to a national competitor when we first arrived to get some serious sticker shock at the prices. I work in logistics and it is obvious prices would be higher in Hawaii than the mainland. But at 40 to 50%, ridiculous! The next day, we finished our shopping for the week at Walmart and the prices were only 10-20% higher than what we were used to at home and yet some were the same. Given that everything has to be barged in, the prices were reasonable. We were thankful they had a store there. That's not a joke. Everything is so damn expensive these days. Any savings are helpful and necessary.

Checking your receipt is not a law and Walmart has no legal basis to do so. They have to have reasonable articulable suspicion of theft. It is an infringement of your constitutional rights for them to harass you as you walk out with purchased goods accusing you of theft as you come from the register.

Employees here are extremely aggressive about checking receipts and there is often a long line to leave. DO NOT SHOW THEM A RECEIPT AND DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO HOLD YOU HOSTAGE. JUST WALK OUT. They cannot even call the police because there is no legal basis to do this.

Wally world is one stop shopping. If you can't find it here you may have to fly to the mainland to get it.

Had everything I needed at this Walmart on Kauai! I'm not a Super Store Shopper anymore so this will work for all my needs!! If it's not in the store I buy it from Walmart online quick shipping!!

Well stocked and a true life saver while on vacation to grab those essentials that were left behind. They also have a huge souvenir section with reasonable prices.

Decent size and selection as well as affordable prices by comparison that you’d see at a Walmart with a slight increase that you’d expect for being on Kauai.

This is a good place to visit in case you would like to buy some souvenirs at very reasonable prices. This Walmart has the same Chinese-made souvenirs that you can find at other stores for more money. Also, this is a good store to buy sunscreen, beach towels, and other Hawaii essentials that you may not have packed with you from home.

Awesome gardening/outdoor section. The return line is always crazy busy. I realized a week later I was charged 3 times for one item. They immediately looked at the footage and called back saying I could come and get credit. That was very nice they looked into the situation. Really don't understand why they can check your receipt at the door! I usually do walmart pay and they always look perturbed when I flash my phone.

This is the best Walmart on Kauai Hawaii. If you're ever on the island you should go check this one out cuz it's absolutely the best

I assume there is a person employed there just to greet incoming people with loud and long aloha I really liked this Walmart. Wide selection of souvenirs come in handy as well!

Great place to buy souvenirs, snacks or drinks for your stay on Kauai! We also got a great deal on beach chairs which we left for the hotel staff.

Went to get a money order & when I showed my ID they said I needed to show proof of my physical address.since I have a p.o.box Of course I did not have that so I couldn't purchase a money order. What difference does it make where I live or have a p.o. box or not? I just needed a money order to pay my exterminator. Total BS Walmart you can suck it

Great Walmart in a convenient location! You can find almost anything you can think of, including souvenirs, food, drinks, and more. The store is well-stocked and organized, with plenty of parking available. It’s open daily and stays open late.
