These folks were great. We love our PV system. Our install was reasonably complicated and RS led the project to successful completion super well. This is the second install we’ve done with Rising Sun, and I wouldn’t work with anyone else.

We had issues with the connection and supply of electricity with the local Utility. Rising Sun reps & techs were all very easy to work with to get the problem solved. Running very well now for 2 years.

Even with the Lahaina Fire set back, they were communicating with me on delays and answered all my questions timely. Very helpful and did a great job on install. I can't say enough about Rising Sun and our local rep, Jeremy. I never used other companies on Kaua'i, so maybe I'm myopic. Bit with excellent quality and followup service, if and when needed, I've no reason to look elsewhere. In fact, we're asking Jeremy to help us expand our current system, now that we have two electric cars on island.

Rising Sun is the only place to get your solar system. Everything was perfect. The Install was clean and worked with me every step of the way. They walked me through the evaluation and panel options and wow....this system works exactly the way they said it would. It's rare to have anything be what your told it will be, but it is. They didn't over sale me or under sell me. I tell everyone that sees it, it's the best money I spent on our house. Definitely Go Rising Sun

You may be able to expect some delays with materials, or your specific Power Company on whichever Island you work with them on, But Rising Sun themselves prove to be great partners, provided incredible value, and what absolutely recommend them as your GC. Joe and Sam at Rising Sun approached my job top to bottom , made things simple , always responded to me quickly , and maintain contact after the work was done to ensure proper function . The benefits of installing PV are just getting stronger, and one of these years the tax breaks are going to go away. If you're settled, don't expect to move, and have equity in your property, I can think of few better ways to reinvest in your residence. My electrical bill went from over 500 to under a hundred bucks. It would be zero right now, but all the extra power has enabled me to lead a higher standard of living, and now I enjoy air conditioning Around the Clock, an additional refrigerator and gaming PC, and soon an ev.

We’re extremely happy to be more energy independent. Living in a remote area we’re often plagued by grid outages and road closures. Once the global supply chain issues were resolved, installation through RSSK proceeded rapidly and efficiently! Joe Simzac was 100% on point and explained things simply to us as solar illiterates.

Thanks to Rising Sun for sending Nolan to our home to finally fix the electrical connections at our home. We are now using, when available, the solar power to power the lap pool heater and pump. i contacted other solar companies and they were rude or wanting to charge way too much .or they don't do small repair jobs
i contacted Rising Sun Solar ,,,and spoke to Rachael she promptly took down my information and got a date set up very fast to assign a field technician to go out and diagnose and repair what was needed he was very pleasant and knowledgeable worked very cleanly and was careful on my roof i was very pleased with the repair bill and the workmanship..they are the only solar company i will use in the future on my solar systems .. i have recommended them to other solar owners ....

We contracted with Rising Sun Solar to add solar to two residential homes that we own. Their quote, although slightly more expensive than others we received, utilized higher quality materials and components than competing quotes. As a result we thought that they offered the best value/quality for the money. The installation took longer than expected due to COVID supply chain issues. But they were always responsive and provided detailed answers to questions about delays. Once they had all their materials, they did their work very efficiently and professionally.

We had a couple of installation and equipment issues that we identified. Each time they responded immediately and fixed the issues as fast as possible. As a result, I highly recommend them. I really appreciate when a company takes responsibility for mistakes and fixes them immediately. It's impossible to not have a mistake made sometimes, but it's how you recover that shows what type of a company you are.

We are so excited with our new solar roof and the service was great too ;)

I've had the solar system including two Power Wall batteries operational for over three years now and things have run smoothly. Installation was timely and questions answered promptly. I am starting a new house and expect to use Rising Sun again on that project.

Purchased 2 years ago, Solar and Tesla Batteries. $0 electric bill, great app that lets you see your power consumption and all those kiuc power outages that don't effect you anymore (tesla app states 31 hours of no power from outages in the last 2 years!)

Rising Sun installed out Tesla power wall 2.5 years ago. It has worked perfectly ever since. We’ve always had a surplus of electricity that we sell to KIUC and have never had an electricity bill. The best part is we’ve never had a power interruption. The Rising Solar team is very professional.
