I recently had a ceramic coating applied to my vehicle, and I’m extremely happy with both the results and the overall experience. I was initially concerned about how the coating might affect the matte finish on my car, but Dave reassured me and delivered exactly what I was hoping for—the protection of ceramic coating without altering the look. The matte finish still looks just as it should, with no unwanted shine or gloss.

The quality of their work is outstanding. The vehicle looks fantastic, and the surface feels incredibly smooth. Dave was

Dave is by far the most professional and most knowledgeable when it comes to ceramic coatings and vehicle paint in general. I took my Volvo to get coated as the whole vehicle had swirls and the clear coat was starting to get hazy on the roof. He walked me through every step of the process explaining what and why he was doing to it. Instead of just telling me, he actually showed results and stood behind his products as well. When I went to pick it up it looked better than it ever has, despite the paint being in bad shape when it showed up. He was very thorough on what steps needed to be taken to keep it looking as good as it does, further showing his dedication to his work and products. Dave at Reflective Rides is the absolute best! No one has more experience, pride and passion about the vehicles he works on. I took my 2021 Corvette to him which had quite a few scratches on it from bad washes and not being taken care of properly (previous owner). I initially heard about ceramic car finish on the internet and was asking friends if they had any experience with it. I got a referral from one of them to Dave owner of Reflective Rides. My new 2024 Land Cruiser had a nasty scratch on the hood I did not notice at the out of state dealership when I brought it home. I thought it would need a paint repair. Dave looked at my new car and pointed out several scratches in the finish I had not even noticed. He said he said most of it would buff out and explained the need for very careful prep work prior to the ceramic application. I had already got one estimate from a detail shop snd Dave’s quote was right there. When I picked up my car it was unbelievable. Now I know why he named his business “Reflective Rides”. The deep scratch in the hood is gone. The shine of this car just pops. The closer I looked the more impressed I was. Everything surface I touched was slippery and smooth including all the plastic trim. Then Dave spent about an hour with me going over how to properly wash the car and assisted me with putting together a list of items needed and the proper methods. Including how to get a spot free rinse water treatment at home. I highly recommend him to do this work for you.

I just bought a 2024 Lincoln Nautilus, I am a clean freak and cant stand when my car is dirty. My previous car I had ceramic’d when I was home, well home is more than 2,000 miles away. So I researched and decided to reach out to Dave at Reflective Rides and boy am I glad I did!!! The process was seamless and communication was on point!! He was alittle booked out so definitely reach out sooner than later!! He is very thorough with after care instructions and care. He also takes care of the “little” things, dogs nose prints on windows. Lol the experience was phenomenal and the end results…. Speechless! Shes beautiful!!

I met Dave several years ago at a car show in downtown Rapid City. I witnessed some of his impressive work at that show. That is when I made the decision to have him do a ceramic finish on my panther black 2014 Audi RS 7. After having the hood replaced and a questionable paint job a couple of years later, I knew it was time to see a renewed shine. Wow, David did not let me down. I picked my car up this past weekend and thought I was taking delivery of a new car as I did in 2014. I believe the shine is better than the 1st time I saw the car at the dealership. Reflective Rides has worked on 2 of my vehicles. The first being a used vehicle I recently purchased and which needed extensive paint correction and buffing. I was blown away by the results, near showroom appearance. After applying a layer of ceramic coating this car shines bright and washes and dries with little effort.

The 2nd vehicle was my babied 2019 Mustang. It wasn't perfect but it was pretty clean. Again I was blown away by Dave's knowledge and talent in elevating the appearance of the paint and trim. The paint correction, including a few rock chips repairs, buffing to a high shine followed by Reflective Rides high quality ceramic coating brought the appearance to a state better than when it came from the factory.

There's no point in going anywhere else. If you read nothing else in this review, then that gets the point across. Called Dave wanting my new bike ceramic coated, he was two weeks out. He has a good reputation so that is to be expected and I was surprised it wasn't longer. I had a trip planned in less than a week so I'd just bring it to him upon return. Fast forward two minutes into the conversation and Dave is upset that it potentially could cost me more money to do it after the ride with extra dirt and imperfections in the paint. First time I've ever seen a business care if something cost me more. So he decides he'll squeeze me in and work the weekend on other projects to get me in ahead of my trip. Mind blown. He was serious. Works around me for drop off and pick up, gets bike coated and it looks absolutely stunning, way better than on the showroom floor. All of this to save me a few bucks and keep my bike looking good. I'd give this place 15 stars if I could. Don't hesitate, his prices are the same or cheaper than other places, but the quality of work, customer service and genuine concern for you and your vehicle are second to nobody in the world. Special thank you to Reflective Rides for unbelievable ceramic coat, which I put to the test. I was driving on a road that had just had been freshly painted with side strips. I ended up with road paint all over the bed side and fender flares. After using products and washing instructions I received from Dave it came right off. Well worth it, super honest stand up guy!!

Dave did a first rate paint correction on my 2015 Dodge Challenger before applying a deep gloss ceramic coating that I know will protect my ride and keep it looking great for many years to come. I sincerely recommend his services for two main reasons: 1) his attention to detail and 2) communication with his customers. Right up front he provided me with a thorough analysis of the steps he would take to eliminate as many blemishes in the paint as possible even before proceeding with the ceramic coating. We talked about the various prices levels for the coating and the warranty so there were no cost surprises when it came time to pick up my car after the process was completed. He always answered my texts and other messages very promptly. In an age where there are so many businesses or products that regularly fail us in quality and fall short with customer service it's reaffirming that someone like Dave is out there.

Having been to a couple of detailing places around Rapid City over the past few years, this is by far the best one I have found! A couple of things happened to my car during a detail and Dave brought them to my attention, and did all he could to make things right. Returned for my wife’s car, and the headlights look brand new now! Will return for all our detailing and paint protection needs in the future! Honest business that does great work.

Dave did a great job on my car. I've daily driven long miles for over three years on my Focus ST. The ten year coat made it look like new.

Perfection from start to finish, Dave went out of his way to keep me informed with pictures of his progress. He does his work as he would do his own vehicle, he takes the extra steps to ensure a perfect application.
