Walmart Supercenter - Lewisburg, WV

Went to get gas. Wife went into the ladies WC and immediately came out saying it was too filthy. The gas was okay, though.

The employee who helped us find the cat treat box we were looking for(not even our order it was for spark, which is like doordash) he was awesome and went to back to get them since they weren't on shelf

You really need to rethink what you have in place for your lawn and garden area. You have no place available for people to load the large bags of soil etc. I purchsed 10 bags of soil today and was told by 2 of your associates that the only way for me to load it was to completely block the traffic flow on that side of the store, which leads to the exit. Totally unacceptable. Someone needs to come up with a solution, this does not work.

I like how helpful the ppl are and clean it is. There were no electric cats. They went all the way to the other entry to get one.

Hello manager ! I want to tell you . Customer service in this area are impolite, rude, treated ignoring me about to answer.Price is increasing up and bad service. I will stop to come here for send money to another country and pay for all my shopping cause people are not nice , race , high prices no respect customers from another country to live in USA . I bought 4 packs of MTG cards this Thursday and payed for them at a self-service kiosk. As I went past the security checkpoint nearest to the newspapers on the grocery end, it went off. The person checking receipts was nice and said she just needs to see my receipt and I can't exactly remember if she scanned it or just glanced at it. My gripe with this experience is the fact that I PAYED for those cards in full, with a card at a self-service kiosk that security cameras watch like a peeping tom. Therefore, the cameras clearly saw me scan each pack INDIVIDUALLY, slide my card in, punch my pin, and then print my RECEIPT. So that means security system had those items punched in as sold. Now I've been coming to this Walmart for at least 5 YEARS, spending hundreds if not thousands, of dollars in groceries, electronics, and various other wares. Every time I check out I give 5 stars. NO BEEPS until now when I'm just wanting to buy some trading cards strangely.

Now for the record this ain't my view on the people working there, just the modern day technology and system that Walmart has in place to "randomly" beep when someone has clearly payed for their stuff. Now sure, it could have been a hiccup, but why should my receipt have to be checked when the barcode system has already verified those items as PAID FOR, therefore meaning they belong to me. The cameras could even confirm it too. With as much money as a coorperation like Walmart has made over the years, they can afford technology that doesn't "glitch" coincidentally when I'm just buying some packs of cards.

I'm a fair man when it comes to these reviews, but I can be tough if necessary. One thing I don't tolerate is being accused by any Walmart of stealing, especially when I'm a hardworking, taxpaying American citizen. This is an issue that Walmart needs to fix ASAP if it depends on regular paying customers who return for business.

With that said, I will return to this Walmart to buy some more MTG cards with my hard-earned money. And if I walk through any of those checkpoints and they beep, I WILL stop buying my groceries, cards, as well as any other necessities from Walmart. So if higher ups for Walmart are reading, take note: don't spit on your customers.

I understand that walmarts are constantly going through changes, BUT whoever made the decision during this last renovation to get rid of probably one of the best WV clothing sections was a horrible idea, im from WV but have lived all over the world and there is not a more proud state then WV, not offering that line of clothing is a bad idea, even my friends from out of state always go to this Walmart to buy WV merchandise, what a shame

The parking lot was packed, but when we got in, it was surprisingly empty??? Lol. No waiting in line for me.

Bless their hearts..... I bought a new battery back in December (5 months ago). I always have apprehension about product quality when I occasionally shop at Walmart. This time was no exception. My "New" battery was dead as a dang door nail! I tried to charge it and it just wouldn't wake up. I , of course, saved the purchase receipt which proved my purchase was within warranty and proving the genuine serial number. But the automotive department didn't argue with my complaint, they just put the battery on the computer and the diagnostic program confirmed my complaint and minutes later I was one my way out the door with another battery and just in case they put it on the diagnostic computer to be sure it was ok before I left again.
Be careful to do your part to look out for your pocketbook. Keep in mind that sometimes the cheapest price may cost you in lost time, lost production and time cannot be replaced.

5/13/2025 - I went to Walmart with my mother to help shop but it seems that evetime I go and check out the prices on one or more items are wrong. After dealing with this again I go home and look over the receipt and guess what I found on this receipt. They are charging 7% tax. West Virginia is 6% "REALLY PEOPLE".
