Vertical Solutions Roofing & Construction - Carrollton, TX

We’ve been working with Vertical Solutions for a little over a month now after our house got hailed on. They came knocking at our door after it hailed and asked if they could fix our roof, they seemed like great people so we agreed. Since then, there has been lots of miscommunication and even no communication. Lots of delays and our house is still not done. I haven’t heard back from our contractor for a few days now and they were supposed to come to fix the remainder of our house. I called the main office and they told me they would get back to me and never did.

Honestly, at this point I am annoyed. Why would you come knocking at my door and give me false promises? Our original project manager (Steven Rose) quit in the middle of the project, and now our current one (Eddis Selimanovic) isn’t responding to us. I am just really frustrated cause it just seems like you guys bit off more than you can chew. Don’t come knocking at peoples door and convince us to work with you if you can’t finish the project properly.

FYI: After writing my initial bad review here they finally gave me a call back so I guess writing bad reviews do work.

UPDATE: They have communicated to me that their work is finished but it is not. I spoke to my insurance and they also confirmed and told me that they did not fix everything that insurance approved of. My insurance has been trying to call the project manager, Eddis for a week now and they just keep leaving voicemails. (Turns out he was let go but no one told me this so I was basically ghosted lol)

Not sure what’s going to happen now but tldr: I do NOT recommend this company at all. We will be finding someone else to complete the work.
Find yourself another company that will take you seriously and not give you terrible customer service.

Vertical Solutions, gave us the ultimate experience and we ended up getting more that we thought we'd get. I had my reservations at first, because the process was taking so long. But I was told by one representative, the longest time for a customer to wait was about 6 months. This was because of dealing with the insurance company. Vertical Solutions, kept us updated as to how things were going, so we weren't left in the dark.
Eventually the roof was covered and I mean the whole roof. Initially the insurance only wanted to cover half the roof. But, Vertical Solutions stuck with until the insurance company finally came around and gave us what Wee needed.

I had the pleasure of working with Vertical Solutions Roofing and Construction for a complete roof replacement, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and stress-free.

Anthony Deleon was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through the entire process, explaining the materials, timeline, and costs in detail.

The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and maintained a clean worksite throughout the project. They were respectful of my property and went above and beyond to ensure everything was left spotless once the job was done.

The quality of their work is outstanding. The new roof looks fantastic.

Eddis was SO helpful! He helped me walk through getting my roof , insurance, cost, etc- and explained things so i could understand. Im a 43 year old single mom of 5 years, and in sales for 25 years. However did not know much about fixing my roof until now. He was courteous, respectful, informed, and a very handsome young man to boot! :) i wish him well!

I would not use this company and recommend that you find another one. My experience with it has been horrible. The initial individual who inspected the roof and was supposed to oversee the project gave us the impression that everything would be taken care of and the process would be seamless. Unfortunately that was not the case. A bit of time passed by, and we heard nothing back. After reaching out to get an update because almost a month has passed and we haven't heard back from anyone, we were informed that the initial project manager was removed from the company, and they gave no notice. The company then placed a new project manager on the engagement to complete the work. There were issues with the original contract, so they needed to draft a new contract. Problems after problems would continuously occur. The project manager even asked which window screen they needed to fix, which is interesting because they're billing the insurance company/customer for fixing this. Yet, the project manager doesn't know what they're fixing. Even trying to pay them is a hassle. I wrote a check for the deductible, but the company asked if I could pay via credit or debit card so the project manager wouldn't have to pick up the check. Additionally, they asked me to sign the insurance check for another individual on their behalf, which made me very uncomfortable. To sum up my experience, I would try any other roofing company. This company does not care about the customer experience. In addition, the project manager wasn't pleasant to deal with, and trying to coordinate a time for him to pick up the payment was difficult because we needed another individual to help facilitate this interaction. The project manager's name is Anthony Deleon.

due to hail damage. From start to finish this company is outstanding!
Nick the General Manager explained the work order & payment process with the insurance company & went out of his way to bring me samples of the shingles to see. The insursnce & roofing process was explained in detail by Project Manager Michael Lax who was on the entire job to make sure everything was done perfect! Communication with both Mike & Nick was excellent responding to my question the same day.
The crew was fast & efficient & their clean-up was excellent! Their clean-up left my patio cleaner than when they arrived.

Before this hail storm, we had never been through this process, and he helped us every step of the way and made the process go smoothly. He even reached out to our HOA for us to make sure we were compliant, and he was present when the insurance adjuster assessed our property so nothing was missed. The day we got a new roof, the crew showed up early, finished quickly, made sure to protect all of our outside property, and did a clean sweep for nails. Nick was good to communicate with me during each step of the process. Nick and his team handled the replacement of my roof flawlessly. After the roof was complete, a thorough inspection of the roof occurred revealing a few shingles that needed replacing which was completed quickly and ensures the integrity of the roof was intact. The final step to the project was a thorough sweep of the property to remove construction debris. I am very pleased with the service I received and the way my new roof looks. After the hailstorm in May we chose Vertical Solutions for our roof repair and house damages and it was a right choice. They took care of filing our insurance claim and worked directly with our insurance company to get the claim approved and paid! No hassle and no fees for helping take care of cashing the insurance check either! They are the best!

After the June 2023 hailstorm I needed my roof inspected. I texted Nick Hay at Vertical Solutions Roofing who inspected my roof three years ago (and fixed a leak for me at no charge without trying to sell me on a new roof that was deemed unnecessary). I hoped he was still in the roofing business. thankfully, he was.

Nick assisted me through the entire process flawlessly, from filing the claim with my insurance, being there during the insurance adjustor’s inspection, going over the inspector’s report, choosing roof options and the scheduling of service. He even stayed on site the day the roof was installed and kept me updated on the progress (even sending drone pictures of the progress). He was extremely thorough, making sure everything was perfect, even using the magnetic sweeper numerous times to get all the nails. He even returned the following day for additional nail sweeps. The team also did a great job protecting my yard and bushes by covering everything before they began removing the old roof.

Nick Hay and his team at Vertical Solutions Roofing did an amazing job. I couldn’t recommend them and Nick enough.
