VernCo Roofing - Omaha, NE

Donald Thielen was referred to us from our insurance company. He came out and took pictures with his drone and gave an estimate to fix our roof. My husband told me the cost and I told him to set the appt to have it fixed. Donald told him it needed to go through the insurance first & called a few weeks later to see if we had received any paperwork. My husband told him no and he said he would send it by email and we would just need to sign it and send back. We signed and sent back and it was crickets. My husband tried to call and no answer and we figured he was just busy. We waited another week to call and then the 2nd time Donald answered. My husband asked about getting the appt set to fix the roof. Donald stated he would need to look through his email and he should be able to set the appt by the next week. We still have not heard back and have since had our roof fixed by another company. At one point We thought Vernco roofing was a scam roofing company so we called our insurance company to make sure it was a reputable company. They confirmed that Vernco roofing was who they recommended. Its unfortunate that we received no response and do not recommend unless you want to be ignored.

Would NOT recommend. Nothing but mediocrity and headache from this company. The final product was good, but that was all due to the subcontractors. Every part of interacting with this company was like a root canal with no anesthetic. Even 4 months after making the final payment, they are contacting me and telling me I owe them over $11000. Thank God I paid with a cashier check and could get proof from my bank that they DID, in fact, already deposit my payment.

After a large hail storm we were looking for a single company to handle, roofing, gutters, and siding on 7 different properties. VernCo, being a local full service company, was the perfect choice. They were able to take care of all of the properties in a timely and efficient manner. The communication from Travis was clear and matched the timeliness setup. We would definitely use VernCo for any future repair/replacement needs.

Vernco just finished doing our roof. Once they got started they found some additional things that needed attention and took care of it. As well as making sure our property was protected and all cleaned up when they were done. All of that done in about a 1/2 day. Highly recommend them if anyone needs this type of work!!!

VernCo Roofing company exceeded my expectations! My roof was damaged by the tornado and the 2 inch hail . Vernco came out immediately and put emergency patches over the 80 shingles that had been blown off. Alex and Ben and everyone involved were nice and polite and always had a sense of urgency. With all the back to back jobs that will last for months , everyone always had smiles and willing to go the extra mile. They even upgraded us to class 4 - 50 year shingles . Had an appointment with Travis this morning for a roof inspection. I had a leak after recent storms. Travis came exactly on time, I pointed out area where stain appeared inside. He got up there & found some shingles that had come loose. He cemented them back down, inspected other shingles & said appeared good. I know this was minor in comparison to what might have been. First impression was excellent. I would not not hesitate to recommend or to call them again when a greater need arises!

I called for a inspection and Don arrived within 2 hours. He was excellent at explaining what he discovered. Would highly recommend. Will definitely use them in the future.

VernCo responded very quickly to my request for an inspection. I was contacted that day by Bryan/RJ and had an appointment scheduled for the next day. RJ arrived promptly and was very efficient in identifying and solving our roofing issue. We were impressed with his professionalism and would definitely recommend this company in the future.

Had a great experience with VernCo! After having a horrible experience with another company, I was hesitant about having another bad experience. We contracted with Vernco Roofing after a hail storm in 2022. From the 1st contact to the last contact is was a great experience. They worked with our insurance company as well as with us. There was so much loss during the storm, our repairs were not immediate. They were very good about keeping us updated on the time line. All of the employees were kind, courteous, very talented, and kept the work area clean and safe. As hail season 2024 approaches do not hesitate to contact Vernco if you need repairs to roofing, gutters, siding, or windows. They do great work.

Once USDA released my insurance check for the roof supplies, I was contacted with a date. Crew showed up early. There was a slight change in one section of the roof, but Kaleb informed me about it in detail. They have always responded to texts and phone calls within 5-10 minutes if not immediately. Came home the day they put on the roof to find the job completed and my yard picked up of all debris. Recommended by State Farm Insurance and now I know why. Great company.

We had hail damage last year and had our roof and gutters replaced this ending summer. Things seem to have been done well. Of course a few touch up things needed attention (probably with any company). They communicated well and got it done with extra's(a new piece of trim board along a flashing that only needed to be done because of esthetics). Bryans service after the sale is excellent, line of communication is prompt and helpful(number one reason why I went to the trouble to write a review). I have confidence in their Guarantee. Lots of companies disappear into thing air after the install.

We had a gutter replaced and a downspout added by VernCo Roofing. The work looks great! They were honest, and we had excellent communication with Bryan. He was so easy to work with. The work was done in a timely manner, and they cleaned up to make it look like they were never there! The best part is that they were true to their estimate. After the hail storm in June 2022, Bryan and the Vernco team helped us get our house good as new again. They replaced our roof, our gutters and downspouts and several windows and a sliding door. The roof was replaced exactly as promised and very timely. Had gutters replaced at same time 06/21. When gutters were replaced it exposed a hole in fascia. Talked to them and showed them about it. Still to this day 7/22 has not been repaired. I would 13 months would be plenty of time to put a small piece of aluminum corner on and reattach a piece of trim the gutter professionals knocked loose. MOST of the job was great. Just the finishing details, not so much

Bryan saved us during a rainstorm! It was raining in my kitchen and he came right over! Fortunately, the rain stopped, so he climbed up on our roof, found the problem, and took care of it right away! He was very friendly and helpful. We are so grateful!

Just had a full roof replacement done by VernCo. Bryan was my POC and was fantastic!! He answered all my questions, updated me as timelines changed, and was proactive in letting me know how things would happen. Sean Lindgren was honest, helpful and went above and beyond in helping with my roof issue. Other companies were telling me it needed to replaced now and he explained in detail that the shingles were in good shape and only the corners were lifted. He explained the insurance would not pay a replacement as it is not at risk for water damage. Said he would take a look again if we had another high wind event.

Not only did Travis show up promptly for an inspection, he also returned to work with the insurance adjuster as well. we ended up replacing the siding ,roof. gutters. downspout's and facia, and the quality of the work performed was top notch. i HIGHLY recommend this company.
