VA Auto Glass

I got an estimate from Flow Charlottesville to replace my 2010 Mazda 3 front windshield - $950. After looking for a cheaper place, VA Auto Glass gave me an estimate for less than $250!! I took my car in and they were super friendly and had me ready to go in an hour. My weatherstripping was replaced and they did a great job sealing the glass. If I have any more auto glass needs, I'm sticking with this place from here on. Definitely recommended - thanks for taking care of me!!!

My bookkeeper called multiple glass shops in the area about replacing windshield in my MB sprinter. Adam had best price. I called three weeks later and asked if he had windshield and if so, could he install that day. He said he would have to order, and it would be 3-4 days before it came in. I told him I wanted him to do the work but didn't know when I could bring van in, I could put deposit down if needed. He said it wasn't necessary; he'd order it and when I had time call him. I call a week later on Saturday and he has got glass in hand, come out. Total install time was about 45 minutes. I have zero idea about glass in the automotive industry but the new windshield manufacturer is FUYAO. I hung out at the back of my van because I really don't like when people watch me work, so gave him his space. Only reason for 4 stars is I did see him resting his foot on the arm rest of my van. (most likely had all his weight on his other leg on the floor of my van and was just balancing himself-my van is a work van, but other vehicles are not- I recommend they should get some 4' ladders to avoid this).

Overall I am happy with the experience with VA Auto Glass, would go back, and recommend to others.

They replaced my windshield but they damaged my hood. They were scratches all around on the hood near the bottom of the glass..looks like zippers or buttons from someone's pants or jacket and greasy marks where you can tell they were putting their feet on my hood and even inside on the dash. The top and sides of the frame were scratched badly like they used a crowbar to remove the old windshield. I went back inside before I even left the parking lot which looks like a junk yard. I should have known not to let them work on my car by the way the place looked alone! They just said, no, we didn't do that and walked off. Plus there was a mark on the glass that I could never get off. Insurance had it replaced again but not there. NEVER AGAIN.

The windshield of my car looks great. my only complaint and the only reason I give four stars instead of five is because the inside of my car was filthy. My car seats were left with footprints on them and my car doors even had dirty footprints on them. The quality of work that was done was good and I’m not one to complain, but I was annoyed by the footprints all over my brand new car that has less than 1000 miles on it. It took less than an hour to replace the windshield but I should have to clean my car out after getting it professionally serviced.

Was pathetic all the way around. Went there about a small crack in my car windshield. Sign said they were open but the office door was locked. Went to the garage door and there was only one worker sitting in there. He came out took a look at the crack swiped his hand over it and said I was good to go. I had asked him about getting it fixed or what it would take and he just sent me away without giving me any such info whatsoever. I will never go there again.

Last week my daughter had a tree limb go through her back glass in a wind storm. She is a student in Harrisonburg, so we did not know what company to call. After looking at some reviews I contacted Adam at VA Auto Glass. He was very helpful. Worked me up a quote and said he could have the new glass the next day.
With some rain in the forecast he offered to go pick up her car and keep it in their shop overnight to avoid any water damage. My daughter then contacted them and set up a time they could pick her car up that was convenient for both of them.
They had it ready the next day around noon.
Very pleased with the service and price. They even cleaned up the broken glass!

I had a windshield in my VW Rabbit replaced in 2022 and was very pleased overall with the service and quality of work. However, the windshield began leaking water on one side recently so I called and asked if they could take a look. The person I spoke with seemed put out that I called but after brief discussion stated they could test it Thursday after 4 and to just come by as no appointment was needed. I went by as planned and the door was locked. After calling both numbers I reached an employee who said they “left for a while” and someone would probably be back soon, about 10-20 minutes. I agreed to sit and wait. Multiple employees did return after almost 30 minutes but no one spoke or acknowledged I was there and the door remained locked. After several more minutes I left. As of now, even after leaving a voicemail with my number, I have not heard back. I got the distinct impression they were purposely avoiding checking my windshield for issues that might be their workmanship. I’m not sure what happened but I was really disappointed because the original experience was very good. I guess if you have work done that develops an issue it would be best not to expect to receive the same good treatment as when the work is originally done. I referred multiple people to them and they do have great prices, but I truly hope for all the positive reviewers that the work holds up better than mine and that if they do have an issue that they get treated better.

They did install windshield in time quoted but after leaving I noticed my front camera was missing off mirrow so I called and asked assuming they had it but didn't know anything about it and it had been only on rear view mirror the entire time I have owned car and they may come across it yet

Quick service, but they didn’t properly secure my windshield (and broke it in the process), lost a piece of the windshield assembly, and damaged the paint on my car and played dumb about all of it without offering to make it right. This appears to be a common complaint with this shop.

Awesome experience! They fit me in when I needed a quick turn around since I was traveling and were cheaper than the quote I'd received from the big chains. I highly recommend.

Fantastic I was in and out in no time they put a new windshield just that fast and did a fantastic job.

I drove in from WV for a windshield. Had made an appt. They were ready for me. Told me one hour. Lots of good restaurants walkable. I came back an hour later as they were pulling it out of the garage.

No frills. Excellent service. Half the price as some others.

Guys seemed nice and all, I had to leave my house while they finished. Came back and under further inspection they never put the windshield cowlings back on. The reason for that is because they broke and bent the metal tabs that hold it on. Also left broken glass everywhere. So all in all they broke the cowling tabs and instead of telling me they just never put it back on. Very poor job and very unprofessional.

2nd time using this business and I thought I reviewed it before but apparently not. My auto insurance uses Safelite and they wanted an obscene amount of money for my windshield and it was not even a Ford OEM windshield but a lower rated one. Safelite said the Ford windshields were on back order with no clue on when they would be in. Called Va Auto Glass and they said they could get a Ford OEM in by the next day and in fact they did. Quick install and for much less than Safelite quoted me. Will no hesitate to use again if need be.

Nice people, fast in and out within 40 mln. Cost best I could find. Glass has codes and manufacturers name. I would and will use these guys again. Good job, thanks

Mixed review. Best pricing for windshield replacement I received and they were able to do it on a Saturday which was great. Only took an hour or so...once they got the glass. We discussed which glass we needed on the phone and set the appointment for Saturday morning. When we got there, they didn’t have the glass. We were going to take the car somewhere else but they called me and said they would go get the glass right away and we could come back in an hour, so we gave them another shot. When we picked the car up, the windshield looked good, no scratches on the dash like some other customers experienced, but the rubber sealing around the windshield was all chopped up and not properly put back; big gap on one side. When we talked to them about it they acted like it was fine and were unwilling to fix it. We’re having to take it to another shop for the sealant repair.

My son's dashboard was seriously damaged when VA Auto Glass replaced the windshield. A huge, long gauge was cut across it. They wouldn't admit that they were responsible for the damage. They refunded the cost of the windshield but repairing the dashboard will cost more than the refund. Also it is difficult to find parts because it's an older car. Do not recommend them!!

Went to replace the windshield on my 1995 Mazda Miata they replaced the windshield but it was still dirty, there were bits of old glue and glass in the interior, and they made a huge gash in my dashboard (there is a picture) also, they scratched the new glass that they were installing. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Excellent service. Called them driving down the road to have them fix chip in windshield. Ended up needing a new windshield fixed it on the spot in less than 1 hour 2014 volvo vnl 670.

Came to my home and installed a new windshield within 20 minutes. Very fast and polite, would highly recommend and choose them again in the future.

The only problem today was that the two service providers did not wear masks and they had to be in my car occasionally. Otherwise, works seems to be done well.

Instead of just doing what I thought needed to be done, he informed me of what was actually wrong with my vehicle; (It was leaking.) he also told me how I could do it myself instead of paying him to do it.

Managed to fit us in at the end of the day so that we could make it to a funeral the next day
