We are super happy with the work the crew from United did. What a difference! We love the new look and quality of the doors and windows. It's like a full face lift and the contrast of the grey siding with white trim, fantastic! Garth was wonderful to work with. He always responded right away to any questions or concerns we had. He has a great sense of humor too! The men in his crew were respectful and kind. They are hard workers, so fast and efficient! Start to finish they replaced the siding, windows, doors and roof in a total of 12 days! The roof was done in half a day. Very impressive! We had a wonderful experience with UHE, having several windows replaced. We were able to get an estimate and work done within a short time, the employees who replaced the windows were very kind, and the work was quick and thorough. Highly recommend them to anyone. Scott, our Foreman communicated well and was very responsive and timely. The on site crew headed by Leandro were very hardworking, professional, precise, and very pleasant. They were also very happy! They sided our house with everlast siding and the final product is awesome. We were actually sorry to see the workers go; who says that about a contractor!! Excellent experience!

The UHE painters were capable, courteous and hard-working. They did an excellent job of painting my house.
UPDATE:
I am revising my review due to peeling paint within a year of the job. They did correct many of the areas where the paint peeled within a year; however, after another year additional spots began to peel. They came out again and said the paint is peeling due to too many layers of paint and/ or failing shingles. In my opinion that should have been addressed when they initially prepped the house.

I used United Home Experts to repaint my wood siding and replace certain rotted siding areas. The initial meetings with the sales rep went well. He laid out all my options and I had 4 price points to choose from. I felt the price for the work I selected was fair (maybe a tad high) but I believe I’d be getting quality work from United. There were several stages with both pros and cons that I’d like to highlight.

Carpentry: There were about 10 areas that required some board replacement. The carpenters did not seem to understand the scope of the job. They replaced siding in the two largest areas and taped up the windows to prep for paint. They did not address the smaller areas until I mentioned something to the PM. At which point it was over another week before all the carpentry got done, so it was inconvenient to have the windows taped for that long. They also did not replace a couple boards that were in scope, but instead did some touch up repairs to them. This was not communicated until I found it later. The PM did provide a price concession for the missed work. The PM had communicated that they’d be taking a day off, but then they didn’t show up for 4 days without any additional communication, and it wasn’t weather related. Overall they kept the yard clean, but I did have to pick up some trash after they were done.

Painting: Painters came in and did a pretty good job overall. Like the carpenters, they did not seem to understand what was in scope for the project. I had to discuss with them the scope, like whether the garage doors were getting painted. This should be done by the PM. They did two coats where needed. The painters were very friendly and professional.

During the final walkthrough with the PM, there were two additional soffit boards that were found rotted and needed to be replaced. This was added scope which was slightly annoying because it was identified on an earlier walkthrough and just wasn’t documented. I would’ve expected the PM to be on site more during the actual work. He showed up a couple days, but overall was only available via phone call.

Several months later, I had an issue with my water softener where it became clogged. I ended up getting flooding in my basement because my system clogged and overflowed. The root cause was the painters had rotated the softener drain pipe on the exterior of the house when they were painting the trim. They did not rotate the pipe back to its original position. This resulted in the softener not being able to drain properly and damaged the softener. The painters should have a process in place to avoid this situation. United did reimburse me for the cost of the softener repairs, but it took several follow-up phone calls and 2 months to get a check.

Shortly after that, I had a leak in my living room ceiling. I figured it was a result of them replacing the siding directly above where the leak was. I spoke with a PM (different PM from above) and carpenters were out the next day to evaluate it. They found the leak where the trim boards and drip edge were not installed properly. They redid the work immediately, but the reason I went with United was because I expected first time quality.
After the boards were replaced, they obviously need to be repainted. It’s been a month since the boards were replaced and the painters haven’t even been scheduled yet. Several calls to the PM have gone unreturned.

Overall, I would not recommend United Home Experts.

Pros: Painters / carpenters were friendly and professional, sales consultant was responsive and provided all options

Cons: PMs did not communicate well with me or their team. Work scope was not clearly understood. Return calls were not timely. Quality was poor.

The composite siding product that they use is beautiful! We’re so so happy that we didn’t just go with vinyl!!

The crew were courteous, professional, and fast! They also did such a great job cleaning up, that we wouldn't have even known they were here, except for our fabulous new roof!

The best experience we have ever had with a “contractor” and we have had many. House was stripped and wrapped in one day. Siding and entire project finished in six days. Amazing. Scott was exceptional and work with us every step to make sure we were happy. They team was excellent. They worked hard long days and made every minute count. Work area cleaned up every day. Courteous and exceptional workmanship. I would hire them over and over. More than a 5 star team. Great experience start to finish.

This was my second job with United Home Experts and I am very happy with how the work turned out!

I met with Andrew to discuss replacing my roof and exterior door. He was very professional yet friendly and accommodating. He was thorough and explained everything that needed to be done and would be done, the various options and costs. I was so pleased that I canceled the appointment I had with a different roofer and scheduled a meeting for work to be done at another property. The entire experience, from the initial phone call and scheduling to the signing of the contract was a pleasure. I highly recommend both Andrew and United Home Experts.

After looking around for a bit for a siding contractor we decided to go with United Home Experts and couldn’t be happier. A representative came to the house and answered all our questions and wasn’t trying to pressure us into anything. Once we decided what we wanted done they were in constant communication on start times and dates. The work crew showed up on time and was very professional. They were done ahead of schedule and cleaned up the work area. We were very pleased with the outcome of our project and look forward to working with this company again. Highly recommend!

Alex, our project manager, did a great job scheduling our siding project ahead of the original schedule date. The work crew, Sidney and Danellia both were very professional and friendly. They always arrived each morning about the same time and worked late even though we had some very hot days. After they completed the job the cleaned up the driveway and around my house. The quality of their work was very good! Would definitely use United Home Experts for future projects

We just got to the free estimate stage of a siding project but our experience was great! Professional, thorough, friendly and timely.

Equipment, materials and personnel arrived when expected and on time. Roofing team was very efficient and hard working. Our home was well protected during the work and the area around our home was very clean when the work was completed.

UHE replaced all of the siding on my house. The crew was professional, efficient, showed incredible attention to detail and was easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend UHE for home maintenance and repair.

We contracted with UHE to replace windows and siding on our home and they did an excellent job. We were impressed with UHE from our first planning meeting all the way through to cleanup after the last bit of trim was attached. In planning, Mike Brule laid out the alternatives clearly and objectively and made excellent suggestions about things we could do to improve the functionality and appearance of our home. Cost estimates were honest and transparent. We were surprised when Alex Rose, the project manager, called to tell us he was ready to start because it was several weeks earlier than we expected. Alex was always on top of things and was a pleasure to work with. Both the windows crew and the siding crew were highly competent, worked very hard, and were always courteous and pleasant to us. The result is that our house has been significantly upgraded and looks terrific. My impression is that UHE is an exceptionally well-run company with first-rate employees. I’d hire them again without question.

I learned about United Home Experts from one of my neighbors who had quite a bit of work done by them. From my first sales meeting, through pricing, inspection as well as installation was simply excellent. They made the whole process very, very easy and totally professional. Their installation, follow-up, QC and clean up is what everyone expects but few companies deliver. Every person that was involved in my upgrade from Michael, Dan, Fernando, Verlei and Luis were top notch......and I am more than happy to very much recommend them to anyone who wants a totally easy from beginning to end professional experience.
