If you decide to use Triton roofing that is up to you. I can only tell you my experience (which was less than stellar). This is quite long but you need details for context.
Our salesman, we’ll just use his initials KH, gave us a lengthy sales pitch & quote. My wife mentioned that we had a roof replaced on another house not long ago and the contractor overestimated the shingles and charged us for them but then took the shingles when the job was complete KH assured us, we would be “credited” for any extra shingles. We were able to negotiate the price a bit since we had a few previous quotes and felt comfortable with the price and product so signed the contract. I will say that KH did mention that the first two sheets of plywood would be included but anything above that would be at a charge. That is the only additional charges that were discussed. The installation was uneventful and I was able to observe the entire thing since it was done in one day. There were a few minor issues with the ridge vent, a torn shingle, and such but they were able to come back quickly and fix it. So, the roof itself isn’t my issue, it’s the way that they try to add additional costs.
I got a call from KH and he said they used 5 sheets of plywood and I would need to pay for the additional 3 sheets. I told him I watched the entire installation and there is no way they used 5. He went on to tell me he had receipts and photos to prove it and sent me a photo of my roof that shows a different colored sheet of plywood on the front that he claimed was new. I was taking pictures myself during the installation and was able to show him where that odd colored piece of plywood was already there when they were tearing off my old roof. Eventually I was able to talk to the crew that was on site and verified that I actually only used a total of 3 sheets not 5. KH never did show me the receipt he said he had.
Now it’s time to pay the balance of the contract and KH informs me that we owe for “double felt” removal. He showed me a picture of my roof and we did have double felt under the shingles but it was NEVER disclosed that this may be a charge. However, now that he wasn’t getting the additional money for the plywood, suddenly this is the first I’m hearing about this charge. What choice did I have now? Of course, I’m getting a bit upset because I feel he is trying to pull extra money from me when this roof is already costing me a small fortune (insurance is not paying for this). He said I am trying to take money out of his pocket since he works on commission.
He works on commission? Maybe that explains everything.
We had seven bundles of shingles left over so, we told KH that they were on the side of the house and someone could come pick them up and the credit should more than cover the cost of the felt removal. He said he would send someone out to get them. I told him I would pay the final invoice once the shingles were picked up and the final total was reached.
After I got the final bill, the total had not changed. Several exchanges with the office staff and finally the owner got me a “consolation” of $100 off. No apology for their salesman trying to run up my bill only a statement saying that they don’t buy back shingles and he shouldn’t have told me that. In fact, they didn’t offer anything until I proved that he said that by sending the owner text showing where he did.
Again, this is just my experience, yours may be better. My assumption is that they are used to dealing with people paying through insurance so they can pad the bill and the owner either doesn’t know or doesn’t care. I mean we’re talking about $100 on a $23,000 roof. I was not looking for a free ride just to pay what was on my bill and not extra’s that I did not get. Honesty goes a long way with me.

Ann Thompson with Triton Roofing is my hero! Ann went above and beyond to help me navigate a new roof. She answered all my questions and was quick to respond with phone calls and text messages. Ohhhhh, and the roof is beautiful! The roofers did a great job. I would highly recommend Ann and Triton Roofing for all your roofing needs.

Greg & his team were incredible through the process of a long awaited home renovation. Greg made sure every detail was discussed and gave his professional & honest recommendations which allowed me to feel confident in him & his team before the work even began. The team was extremely trustworthy and completed the job as if it were their own home. I was connected to Triton through my insurance company. TJ Pullen was my point person for all my dealings from beginning to the end of the completed roof. TJ made the whole process effortless. He was very informative and answered all my questions. The roof was completed in a timely manner, up to current code and they cleaned up so well you didn't even know they where there. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a new roof or is unsure if they need a repair. On time, hardworking and efficient.

There is nothing professional about this company. They will talk a good talk at first but all their work is subcontracted with no supervision. If you are thinking about using Triton, I would recommend you visiting a couple properties and speaking with the president of those associations to see how they did. Make sure they are recent within the last year. Also, make sure you meet with the association and its members before choosing Triton, not just a call. Triton can provide you a lot of names but they are not credible contacts. Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with…..

From Triton’s initial contact, they have been punctual and attentive. The roofing team that replaced our shingles was courteous, professional, and amazing to observe working in such harmony. They we very thorough in cleaning up afterwards. Oh, and the roof looks great!

Mike and his team, Jose and the other guys showed up on time, and they wasted no time working on a complete tear off of our roof. They even kept working in the rain that day. They had replaced my entire roof in one day. The team went around and magnet raked the yard for nails and staples. Although the team didn't get some good size pieces of roof paper, I only found maybe 5 staples in my yard and only about 3 nails, in which 2 were in my pool (the nails found their way through the hole in my pool cover by my pool ladder, this could not be avoided and it is not the teams fault). The team laid out very large tarps all around my house to catch debris from the roof. I found their team to be extremely proficient, extremely hard working, fast, thorough, professional, very polite and respectful of our property. We are very pleased and happy with Triton roofing and Mike & Jose's team. Thank you so much guys for such a wonderful job and I would recommend your company and your team to anyone looking to replace their roof.

Ann Thompson and I have worked together for over a decade now I believe. She is professional and responsive to my customer base. We have been able to do many roofs together over the years. Triton roofing nailed it getting our project completed. Their scheduling was on point, workers were punctual with determination to do the best job possible and within an acceptable time frame. Ann was my point of contact during the entire process and answered any questions or concerns during the project. She has been super helpful with coordinating and working with my busy schedule. I would highly recommend these guys for any roofing needs you might have. Out of many of the roofing contractors I spoke with, Triton was far the most honest and straight forward company. There are many scams going on in the roofing industry I found looking for a contractor, but this company had integrity and honesty. I was very impressed with their delivery and professionalism.

The only reason I did not give this company 1 star is because of the sales person I dealt with. As far as the quality and the responsiveness from the office, it is not a company I would recommend. When they left, there was nails all over my property as well as pieces of shingles. They had to come out three times to repair the work THEY did. When I called the office managers continually ignored my calls and passed the buck to someone else. The gutter was not reinstalled properly, after several calls they finally decided to replace it, with a below average company of course. I found nails and pieces of shingle in the attic. After calling, the manager could not be bothered to call me back, asI was told would happen. Instead Ryan told the receptionist what he assumed was the case, for me to get the answer from her. That is unacceptable. He is the manager, HE should be handling escalated issues.

They replaced our roof three years ago. We noticed a few water spots in the ceiling of one of the bedrooms and we heard dripping during a storm. This was while Ian was passing by. I called and left a message on Thursday. I'm sure they were probably getting a lot of calls. Communication was very good between emails and phone calls. They had someone come out on Wednesday. They saw where water was leaking from a nail location. The gentleman took pictures from inside the attic and showed me. He removed at least three rows of shingles and the underlayment down to bare wood. The nail was dealt with and the area was properly, and neatly, reconstructed. I am very impressed with this company and the quality of it's work and it's employees.

I had a wonderful experience with Triton Roofing. It was great working with Mrs Ann Thompson. She explain the process from beginning to end. She always returned all my phone calls and gave me answers to all my questions. It was great working with Triton Roofing and if anything happens to my roof in the future Triton Roofing will be the first one I call.

Triton came and renovated my bathroom and put on a new roof. They were extremely professional, timely and exceeded all our expectations. I strongly recommend them to anyone needing construction services.

I did not choose this roofing company. It was from my insurance company their network of preferred providers. They did the roof nice job. However their follow up was awful. Didn’t contact other subcontractors to finish the job. When the truck came to deliver the shingles he wrecked our lawn in the front and triton was supposed to come and fix it. It’s still a mess. Per the insurance company they were supposed to let the solar panel contractor know he could come back and put the panels back up. Never did they contact him. Several soffit were crushed and triton does not fix those!

Had a great experience! Every thing from first call, inspection, and installation. Responsive, clear and thorough.
With all of the heavy rain we ended up with a roof leak - nearly two years after install. Again, great service by Ann and her team! Came out fixed the roof and then repaired the ceiling and bathroom wall.

I contracted with this company because my kitchen and living room had water damage. They were quick to respond, helpful, and restored the cabinets and floors and it looks beautiful. Chase, the project manager was good about responding and handling the details and the insurance company. The office staff was nice and helpful too. Highly recommend.

Wow! Superior customer service starts out with this company and by the time we had a new roof, Professionalism along with follow up was also on the menu. Mike was assigned to our roofing project. We had wind damage to our roof and water damage to the interior of our home. Turned out to be covered by our insurance. Everything was handled in a very professional manner. Mike was able to work with our insurance company to get this handled quickly. We are very happy with the roof and the two rooms with damage is like new. Everyone was very professional, on time, cleaned up after themselves, good quality. I would recommend Triton in the future.

I had some storm damage and Ann from Triton helped me through the claims process. She and the roofers were very professional. I feel that they did a quality job. Everything was done timely and they didn't leave a mess behind. This is my third roof on my third house and by far was the best experience I have ever had.

10/20/20 And they still have not completed the project. They showed up one day early 2020 to evaluI am posting on behalf of my parents house, as my husband and I were the POC's for the project.
This company started the roofing project after Hurricane Matthew and it has never been finished. It failed the inspections for lack of roof engineering (faulty/dangerous truss repair) and then we didnt hear from them despite numerous calls. They reappear in early 2019 eager to finish up and get paid, said they were coming back to satisfy the issues and again, nothing. Do not use this company- they are not reputable and are not responsive.

Lee with Triton was wonderful to work with. He was always a quick call or text away with any questions we had, and getting our roof redone was a quick and painless process. Also, the team that completed the job was friendly and accommodating with me when I needed to get my toddler and newborn in and out of the house through their work area. Highly recommend this family friendly company!

Interesting story which saved me a ton of money! …. Originally, I met with 3 roofers to get pricing on replacing my 20-year roof. Through a friend, I was told about the excellent job Triton Roofing & Restoration did on their roof. I met with Chris Malone, the owner of Triton, who did a thorough roof inspection. Chris then told me I had a 50/50 chance of being accepted for an insurance claim and having the roof paid for by my homeowner’s insurance company…minus my deductible. I was bit shocked since not ONE of those three roofing companies mentioned to me that I was eligible for an insurance claim!
Since I was unfamiliar with the process, Ann Thompson, Triton Roofing Consultant, thoroughly walked me through filing a claim. With Ann’s help, my insurance company approved my claim!! Triton put me on their schedule and it only took 2 days to complete my roof! Elton, the supervisor of my job, kept an eye on his 7 or so roofers and Rob, Project Manager, ensured that everything went smoothly. In fact, I have shared my experience with many of my neighbors in Sawmill Lakes sub-division who are now going through the same claim process. Chris Malone has found, thus far, that about 90% of the roofs he has examined in my subdivision in Ponte Vedra Beach, has suffered roof damage eligible for a claim.
I thank Triton for their honesty and great work through this entire process. My roof is beautiful and I cannot give enough thanks to Triton for a job well done!! An extra bonus is that I don’t have to worry about my roof during this upcoming hurricane season.

Don’t believe them when they say the work is done. Be there to make sure the inspector looks under the tarp. They may have left rotten wood in your roof and you will never know. That is what they did to us. That was just on one side of the roof. The other side of they roof is still leaking after fixing it twice. That probably means rotten wood on that side by now and all they keep doing is adding more nails.

I had some issues that cause me to leave a bad review. However, the owner and repair person handled this immediately. After speaking with both, I feel like all problems were poor communication from my only point of contact. I am more than satisfied with the job Triton did and the response from the owner. In fact the recent leak was not their fault, it was a bullet hole, probably from July 4th idiots. I have deleted my original review so as not to cast them in a negative light. I recommend Triton, however, be clear as to whom you should contact if you have any issues after completion.

Cody was fantastic to work with while replacing my roof. Very knowledge and professional and great about keeping me updated on each step of the process. I highly recommend using his company when replacing your roof!

Lee came out 2 years, and I told him I wasn’t ready yet, told him to contact me next year. The following year he called me back, I still wasn’t ready, asked for 1 more year. He contacted the final time and I was ready, they helped set everything up and did a fantastic job on my roof! Would greatly recommend them!
