I am writing this recommendation for HCA Construction and Roofing.
My neighbor’s tree was hit by lightning in July, 2024. It destroyed over 60 feet of my privacy fencing, and also destroyed my flat roof on the back of my home. I’m a 65 year old, disabled Veteran. I tried for a month to get the neighbor responsible, to help resolve damages, but to no avail.
I contacted my Realtor, that said they had been working with a company that had been wonderful, and gave me their contact, a Ms. Dania Fadely. I made the call and left a message. Within an hour Ms. Fadely contacted me , got all the initial information and made an appointment to come and see me/inspect the damages the next day. She showed up the next day on time, and she brought Contractor with her, to make a full inspection of the damages, and fully explained the process to get everything resolved. An appointment was scheduled with the Insurance Adjustor for the following week, and Ms. Fadely made sure her Contractor was on site to meet with the Adjuster to make sure nothing was missed. And this is where things went bad.
The Insurance Company made things difficult , delaying approval, even in my opinion, trying to disqualify my claim. This is where Ms. Fadely/HCA Construction and Roofing really started to shine, in my books. Both MsFadely and their Contractor called me, even stopped by to assure me things would be resolved. HCA brought in their own Adjuster that make contact with the Insurance Company’s Adjuster, and “The Team” worked relentlessly, with Integrity and Resolve, to get things approved and funds released.
When the inspection was done for the permit, it was recognized the flat roof didn’t have any pitch. Code required at minimum 1/4” of a pitch, which required the Insurance Company to release additional funds for the underlayment to bring the roof up to code. The Insurance Company denied the request, and HCA’s Adjuster jumped right back in to prove I (the homeowner), wasn’t trying to get the Insurance Company to pay for an upgade, but prove the County Permitting Department was demanding the underlayment, and show my policy had it written in under “Law and Ordinance.”
HCA Construction, (Dania Fadely, CJ McAlister, and Brian Kennedy) went in my opinion; Over and Above, anything I could have ever expected or hoped for! 5 1/2 months later, through unwavering devotion to duty and dedication, I received my full flat roof replacement, which by the way, required pulling off and reshingleing portions of my pitched roof to tie the flat roof in appropriately.
I would recommend HCA Construction and Roofing, Inc with no reservations! They fought for me, and end result; I have a beautiful well constructed roof, up to Code!
I couldn’t have done it without the dilligence and “love for client” demonstrated by the aforementioned.
In a world where character and integrity have just about disappeared; My faith has been restored!
