A portion of my flat tar and gravel roof sustained several leaks and it was determined the previous roofing company did a poor job, causing bubbling and eventual leaks inside the home.

I researched local roofers, paying attention to all the reviews, which I firmly believe in. Reviews can make or break a company’s reputation, and no amount of advertising can surpass a 5-star review in my opinion.

Discovering Top Tier Roofing was my good fortune. Their reviews were solid, so I called them. They were prompt to reply and we arranged for an inspection. They suggested a PTO roof and gave me a very fair estimate. Edgar and Martin are a father-son team who know the roofing business inside and out. I accepted their estimate and they proceeded to get the roof installed the next week. It was a breath of fresh air to work with them; they bring a positive uplifting energy and enjoy their work. Their pride and professionalism shines and they are as honest as the day is long. The installation went very well; they are careful and thorough; the PTO looks great. I could not have wished for a better experience than with these men.

The roof is now complete. I am a most satisfied homeowner who can vouch for their work and am pleased to write this review. Full disclosure – I did not know these men prior to my initial request; I live in Albuquerque and the property is located near Nob Hill. I am a real customer with a real review.

Great individuals. I ran into an issue with my contractor who did not complete the roofing job. Edger and Martín showed up gave be great bid and went above and beyond on completing my roof. At these times when it’s difficult to find people who want to work, charge reasonable prices, and still have pride in their craftsmanship, this company is a diamond in the rough.

During a torrential rainfall that turned my flat roof into a lake I had a MAJOR leak between the walls! There was no way to place a container to catch the water and it was a mess. I reached out to the roofer I had used before. They couldn't even come to look at it for two weeks and would not be able to work on it for at least 5 weeks after that. During the monsoon that can feel like a lifetime. I reached out to Top Tier on a Friday evening expecting to get an answering service and was surprised to reach Edgar Ortega directly. He and his father Martin were at my home the following Monday morning. They showed me all the areas which needed repairs and of course the main one which was a gas line penetration on the roof. They quoted a fair price and were able to do the work right then as they had the supplies on hand. They are both high energy, hard working, professional, roofers who are knowledgeable. It has rained in my part of town in ABQ the last two days and I have not had a leak! I will not hesitate to call Top Tier when I am ready for a new roof. Because they also do many types of home projects I will be calling them to work on those too. They have been a Godsend! Thank you Edgar and Martin!

I reached out to Top Tier Roofing on 8-26-2023 (a Saturday) and let them know I had a skylight that was leaking badly from the rain and I wanted it replaced along with another that was not leaking but the same age, about 23yrs old. Edgar reached out to me within a couple of days, made it out the following day after I got back with him and provided a quote that day. I told them I was very happy with the quote on replacing both and wanted to get it scheduled ASAP. He and his dad came out on 9-4-2023 (Labor Day) and repaired it that day, on a holiday no less. I was extremely happy with the job and the cost and Edgar and his dad are good people. I would not hesitate to use them or recommend to anyone, I don't think you will find better people or pricing. They also informed me they are not limited to roofing so I will be using them soon on some other projects, they are the best!
