they say, “when it rains, it pours.” last month’s heavy rain exposed even more problems in my “renovated” home. after only 4 years in, I had to fully replace the roof.

I hated having to do this and glad top tier did their best to not pile on.

top tier was thoroughly communicative from the initial quote* to the completion of the project. I appreciated the consideration taken to avoid any potential additional water damage by rescheduling around bad weather forecast. It was also super helpful to receive photo updates at every stage of the work.

the price was the price. other contractors quoted me 1/2 for 1/8 of the work. I did what the sellers should have done

*edit - I just read the fine print that states that I have to have the roof serviced every 3 years or the 15 year guarantee will be void.

Had a leak in my bedroom, gave top tier roofing a call. They came out few days later, went up my roof and assess the damage. Sean gave me a fair estimate. Job was completed in a timely matter, the team clean up all the debris. Highly satisfied with top tier roofing!!

We have a three story house with a deck on the front. My son’s room under the deck has had a leak for years. After having multiple roofers seal up different areas in and around the deck, the leak was not resolved. After a major rain storm we got a recommendation from a friend to call Top Tier. They came out the next day, found multiple issues with our roof and replaced it in a day. They explained everything they were doing and provided before and after pics of their work. They are professional, knowledgeable and very tidy (after they left you wouldn’t even have known they were there). I would highly recommend them!!!

Shane and his crew came to our home and took care of a huge job! We had two buildings that needed roofs and gutters. The main house, and the detached 3 car garage. We were told that this big job would take possibly 3 days. Materials and dumpster dropped off on Wednesday, and the team showed up Thursday morning and got started. Both roofs were completed by Friday afternoon, and the gutters were done Saturday morning! We were very impressed that the timeline was spot on, and the work was outstanding! I will definitely recommend Top Tier Roofing!

My roof has had issues with ponding water due to an incorrect pitch, and after it recently developed a leak I wanted to correct the underlying issue. I spoke to a number of roofers who only wanted to put another layer on top of the existing roof, but Top Tier wanted to actually fix the problem.  They proposed removing the existing roof where it was leaking, installing tapered insulation, adding a second drain to affected area, and then installing new granulated torch down over the entire roof.  Additionally, I decided to have the siding on that wall replaced to eliminate all potential sources of water getting into the house.

From the start Sean was on top of the entire process.  He showed up on time, sent the estimate the next day, answered all of my questions, and had the job scheduled within a few weeks.  The roofing crew was awesome – they got the job done quickly, cleaned everything up, and were respectful of the neighbors.  When the siding crew came the following week they discovered significant damage to the framing and sheathing. I was concerned because of how bad some of the damage was but they came up with a plan and went straight to work getting everything repaired. The mark of a great contractor is how they deal with the unexpected once a job starts, and Top Tier went above and beyond.  The new roof and siding look amazing and the quality of work is top notch. Pricing for the job was incredibly fair, especially with the additional framing and repairs. I can’t recommend Top Tier enough, if you need a new roof make sure to give them a call.

Top tier roofing came out to give a quote a few days after I called them. That process took only about 10 minutes. Sean gave me the quote and they were out for the work later on that week. I’d recommend top tier for responsiveness and good pricing. The whole process was incredibly easy and I’ll go back to them for future needs. For reference, the work done was to add a downspout off two parts of the back of my roof to prevent water pooling on the corner of the roof.

Called these guys and they made an appointment to assess very quickly. I was ready to get the whole roof done but they were extremely honest and told me I didn't need as much work as I thought. Came and did a fantastic job, left 0 mess, reasonable price, very friendly and professional workers. 10/10 would recommend their services and use them again in the future!

Sean and his team are excellent. I was having leaking issues that were difficult to identify and during the assessment, Sean found out that the rear siding to my property was not installed correctly, nor was it wrapped with a vapor barrier. I had his team do a complete proper install and the results were fantastic. He communicated effectively by phone/text and provided video and pictures along the way. He also provided very affordable pricing! I highly recommend his team and will be using them again in the future.

Top Tier Roofing did an amazing job on my roof. Top Tier completed the roofing job and there was a problem in the front part of the roof and Mike from Top Tier came back out and replaced the old shingles with brand new ones at no additional cost with a guaranteed 15 year warranty.

I used Top Tier to replace my flat roof because of two areas of leaking. They came out quickly for the estimate, gave a reasonable price, and were very communicative both around a couple questions I had and around the actual install. They were extremely hard working and considerate. And most importantly, the roof is looking good! Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Called for and estimate for a porch roof repair. Set the appointment and the day before they come out say the can't do it because all their jobs are in Philly right now. Don't advertise that you work in multiple townships if you don't have the personal or resources to cover. Waste of time.

Great contractor to work with and a great final product. We had a smaller above the kitchen roof re-done in south Philly. They investigated after demo and continued repairs correctly even though there was more work uncovered. Very satisfied with the value and end product we received. Highly recommended!

Made the call to Top Tier and Sean was out the following day to offer a fair estimate. We had to get work done on our soffit first so we held off booking the roof until that carpentry was done. In that interim time Sean reached out to check in about the roof but I never felt pressured. When it the other was finished I texted Sean and he got us scheduled within a week. Our mod-bit rubber roof with vents was installed in a little less than a half day. Upon completion we were able to go up the ladder and view the excellent work. The roofers answered any questions we had.were assured by contract that the work is guaranteed for 15 years but I believe it will last much longer. I would definitely recommend this very professional company for being easy to deal with and doing solid roof work.

TL;DR: I had a great experience with Top Tier Roofing. My contact, Sean, was an excellent communicator and kept me in the loop every step of the way. The work was done quickly and cleanly and, with a warranty from the company, I feel confident that my roofing situation is in the best of hands for years to come.

Longer Version:
I recently became a first-time home owner. The roof was up towards the top of the list of things to get replaced since it was old and I would want to make sure I put something fresh on it before I set up some sort of deck solution.

That timeline accelerated when my neighbor discovered that a leak that was causing water damage in his ceiling was coming from a shared part of the upper roof (we are in connected row homes, so the roofing overlaps between our sides). He was getting his roof looked at by Top Tier and it was determined that we would have to fix it on my end. Since the whole roof was very old, Sean wanted to replace the whole thing on both my side and my neighbor's side so that he could give us a warranty on the whole surface.

In order to do my side, we were going to have to move two air conditioner units that were resting on metal beams that crossed the whole roof which themselves were resting on bricks that were the source of the original problem (water accumulated in the brick hole and wore through the roof). Sean brought an HVAC contractor that he works with along that was able to give me quotes on replacing the air conditioning units. Replacing these units was the next thing on my list anyway, so it felt nice to be able to get both jobs done at the same time.

From my end, this was a fairly smooth experience since both Sean and the HVAC contractor were able to coordinate dates between themselves and a crane company. All I had to do was wait and pick a date that worked for me from their list.

The work itself happened very quickly. The team replaced the whole upper roof in a day. Sean was planning on coming back the next day to do my lower roof (which also was very old and needed replacing), but potential rain in the forecast, he called off to avoid the risk. They came back the next week and got it all done. There were some rotted plywood boards under the old roof that Sean replaced and now everything feels very solid.

Since then, Sean has continued to help me coordinate work with the HVAC contractor after some issues with scheduling the crane originally came up. He's followed up on the roof after we've had some rain and I feel that he's invested in making sure that I am completely satisfied with the experience and the product.

Our house is far from the conventional center hall colonial so it was not the most straightforward job. We contracted with them to do the siding and they did a fantastic job.
