We just completed our second project with Drew and as expected, it was a delight to work with him again. His work is top notch. He is very meticulous and skilled. It shows in the quality of his work. In the month of August my husband and I contracted with Tool &Trade headed up by owner Drew Barquist to completly tear down our 20 X20 foot 20 year old deck and build a new one , we wanted a composite deck and benches with lighting all around. Drew single handedly handled every aspect of the job, from talking with us about our preferances and needs, he completed the job to perfection, with attention to all our suggestions and he added a couple which added even more charm to the deck, the lighting is especial beautiful. At the last minute as he was about to pack up and leave we had a last minute request, a much needed hand rail on the stairs to the yard, it is a stand out of the deck and a help to both of us, his workmanship is bare none the we have ever see, his clean up is maticulous, leaving nothing but a beautiful addition to our home. Drew was absolutely amazing! He came out to look at the project (bigger replacement deck) location and discussed the project details. He asked many questions to get all the details. During the design process he kept good communication and asked other questions to flesh out more details. During the build he was very meticulous to get everything level and square. The final results were fantastic. We would highly recommend Drew and will hire him again for any future projects.

We hired Drew to build a 12 x 16 storage shed for us. I described the general characteristics we wanted and Drew did the rest. I wanted the shed to be built stout using quality materials. Drew did an excellent job building the shed and far exceeded my expectations for build quality and attention to detail. His estimate of how long it would take start to finish was spot on (and faster than I had expected).
