Our refrigerator developed a slow leak which wasn’t brisk enough to flow from under the fridge into view, but instead leaked under the kitchen tile into the subfloor and drained into the crawl space under the kitchen. By the time the first kitchen floor tile cracked a large area of severe water damage had occurred.

A Summit Restoration representative arrived within an hour of contacting them, and shortly afterwards a truckload of people and equipment was at our home beginning to assess and address the damage. Summit Restoration acted as our advocate while interacting with our insurance company to restore the damage that had been done, and to make sure we received the appropriate value for the damages.

As the damage demolition began we used the opportunity to turn the restoration into a much wanted larger renovation of our home which not only included the kitchen but 5 additional rooms as well. The outcome of the renovation was far beyond what we could have hoped for.

Our interactions with each member of Summit Restoration was professional. We never felt “blown off” as we discussed our questions and concerns. The restoration/renovation was completed in a timely manner, and each of the contractors completed their tasks as stated and expected. Nearly a year after our project was completed I requested the help of Summit restoration again regarding a separate exterior issue I found with our home. I expected this particular problem to be addressed later in the month, but found that the problem had been remedied that same week by Summit Restoration after returning home from work one day.

Nikki was so great today in our office! Very quick and detailed job. And was extremely patient while customers were in and out of the office! 10/10 would recommend her for any carpet cleaning needed!!

We had a pipe leak and went through a ceiling in our house. Summit restoration came out within hours and replaced the plumbing. Within a week they had repaired the ceiling and painted it. They were very nice and the work was excellent.

Bret is the owner of Summit Construction and Restoration and was recommended by my local window provider. His crew of three removed and installed seven windows and one slider in my condo in THREE days including painting and exterior trim.

I did not have them install the interior trim because I’m doing some more remodeling on the inside, though they can do that too.

The crew was professional, diligent, quiet and clean, and they were amenable to my requests for extra care and prep during the project.

The interior was vacuumed and/or swept daily, where needed and the trash was removed daily (no piles to remain until the lat day).

They took all steps to install the windows according to manufacturers instructions and in a workmanship like manner.

I would highly recommend Summit Construction and Restoration for any window installation project and I will use them again in the future for my other condo remodeling projects.

During a very stressful water leak situation Summit Restoration came to the rescue.
Justin and Nick patiently answered my numerous questions and cleaned up beautifully after removing drywall and insulation. The best word to describe Summit is professional.

This is in regards to Bob McDonald in Kimberly. He badly needed hand rails at his front, back and garage door steps. He was lie to by super on the project. Bob was told they were going to custom design them and build them, themselves. Bob’s brother Jim asked that those be installed first. They came almost at the end of up grades on the house. They arrived in a box from Franklin Building supply and they were a straight handrail not made at an angle for stairs. They were installed straight across a step. Talk about shoddy construction. A new walk in shower was installed. After several days one panel was pulling loose from the wall. When asked what would be done to repair this, they used screws with washers and squirted more glue behind the panel. When asked about all the screw holes in the panel, Bob’s brother Jim was told, they would fill them with caulk.
Had to wait on the shower doors. And when they arrived and were installed there is no top rail to secure the top of the doors. Contractor, said that’s the way they are made. Lies, improper installation and improper hand rails. Not to mention the grab bars were to be the scored type for better grip with soapy wet hands. Installed were the brushed silver with no grab scoring.
I could go on, but I’m so angry that they have shoved improper products onto my friend. Taking advantage of the elderly….

Shawn is great to work with. Stayed on top of project from the beginning and explained everything. The company he hired to do the siding Big T's siding and construction Tony did a great job. They did a better job than the original contractor. I will be using Summit again for a project we want done in the future. Thanks. Rain gutters a different story. Not impressed with product or damage done to the roof during installation. I would not recommend the company that did the gutters.

We used Summit after we had a leak in our bathroom. Their service was quick, they did excellent work, and were friendly and responsive. We definitely recommend them!

We woke up to a flood in our basement the day before we were scheduled to leave for vacation. I frantically called and left messages for so many different places for help as I did not know where the water was coming from. I called Summit Restoration & Construction and a wonderful woman answered the phone. She assured me that she would dispatch someone immediately. Within 5 minutes, I received a call from Clint and he told me he would be at my house in an hour. He showed up even before the hour was over and went down in the basement and diagnosed the problem immediately and professionally! This company really knows what they are doing! He found the leak and capped off the pipe and then started the procedure to get the walls and carpet dried. His team was at our house in the next hour setting up drying machines and humidifiers. They pulled up the carpet and dried that too. They laid down paper over our hardwood floors so they wouldn't get scratched with their equipment. They brought in a plumber the next morning and the pipe was replaced. They cut out some wet drywall and replaced it and painted too. When they were finished (less than two weeks) you couldn't even tell that there was a problem at all. We were able to go on vacation as planned and they made sure all the repairs were done, even working with our pet/house sitter. I was so impressed with their entire team that worked in our house. Every single person that came to our house was professional, knowledgably and courteous. I would give them 10 stars if that was allowed. I will only use this company if we ever have another disaster!! Thanks Summit for the excellent work!

Summit Restoration did a fantastic job replacing our entire bathroom after a flood caused by a burst pipe. They also did a lot of work in our basement. Very professional. Done when they estimated they would be. Highly recommend.

Bret and his crew were Johnnie on the spot when our shop/garage burned down and took control of all the moving parts associated with the aftermath demo, and how to best navigate the insurance adjuster nightmare. Then he bid for the rebuild. Even when it became clear that insurance was not going to cover the whole rebuild, Bret hooked us up with trusted contractors and draftsman who could help us rebuild it ourselves. And he continues to point us in the right direction with a multitude of questions asked. Summit gets 5 Stars from us. Bret gets 7 stars.

They are fantastic! Needed to have drywall put around a shower. Communication was great thru the whole process. It was done very quickly and matches the rest of the room.

My house flooded when on vacation and I had to call Summit at 10:30pm. They were at my house within 15 minutes and the crew worked hard they were able to pull up my flooring and get it drying within an hour! I was so impressed. Summit Restoration sent a crew to my house immediately when I called them on a Friday afternoon after discovering mold and water damage caused by a water softener leak. Their ability to provide a quick response and start mitigating the damage sold me. The professionalism and talent of their crew impressed me as the restoration progressed. Summit was a great company to work with. The employees were all super professional, friendly and great to work with. The process took longer than expected but most of those hiccups were not not the fault of Summit. It's a time when patience is required because there are longer wait times on receiving appliances, fireplaces, light fixtures etc. This is our first time doing a remodel and I must say that communication is key. Summit Restoration has saved me many times. Unfortunately I've been through many disasters following things out of my control. Summit has been there for me since the start, about 10 years. Honest, prompt, and understanding. Guarantee their work and reasonable. I always will recommend them over any other company hands down. Sad to say they all know be by name the many times I have needed someone in my corner but as stated I'm relived to know they help me handle all sides of the process. Summit goes above and beyond! Especially when dealing with sewage damage as another company was treating it as water damage, Summit came in and straightened things up to the best of their ability.

Summit did a fantastic job on my family's restoration needs. Every member of their crew is polite and professional. Summit kept in contact throughout the whole job and maintained excellent communication and was very punctual. These guys do great work, restored our home to original specifications(looks like no damage ever even occured), and are easy and friendly to work with around busy every day schedules. Summit just did new carpet in my house. It really makes the place so much better. It looks amazing and is great quality. They were very quick with getting the carpet ordered and installed. I am so happy with how easy the whole process was!
Summit also helped with some water damage we had on our wood floor- from a water heater. They were there promptly and the floor repair was done in a timely manner and they made the process seamless.

Summit Restoration completed a bathroom remodel for us in our basement this past spring (2021). Bryce was exceptional with keeping us in the loop and alerting us to any possible set backs. He was friendly to work with, honest with his estimate and delivered on every promise he made. For all of our future remodeling projects, rather than trying to do them ourselves, we're calling Bryce at Summit Restoration because we KNOW it will be done quickly and done RIGHT!

We had some structural damage in some various areas of our flooring. We also wanted the carpeting removed in our family room and replaced with some laminate flooring. Summit Restoration completed everything in a timely manner and were very professional. They also worked with us on a payment plan. I would recommend them to anyone.

We recently had the misfortune of returning home from a trip to find a waterline ruptured and significant damage. We chose Summit to assist us with the problem. Summit was very professional and efficient in making this difficult situation easy and workable for us. They worked very well with our insurance company and with us; always making sure we understood what was happening. They were very accommodating and flexible with our wishes. This was all done through the difficulties of dealing with the Covid situation. I would give Summit Restoration and their team a 5 star rating.

Summit Restoration is Wonderful! We had a pipe break in the kitchen & bath wall just before Christmas, with a house full of family! Luckily we were referred to Summit....What a blessing!
All the tiling and flooring had to be removed in the bath as well as the Sheetrock. And our cabinets had to be removed and all the backsplash and upper Sheetrock in the Kitchen. It was a mess!
Even with the holiday delays Summit was there for us...the clean up crew came and they quickly removed the damage, then they dried everything out and got to work.
Bret came out personally and walked us through the whole process. He came to our home several times to make sure everything was perfect! He was always available when we needed to reach out to him.
Justin was meticulous as he repaired the damage to the Sheetrock making it beautiful. We can’t say enough about him, he was always on time and really went the extra mile for us.
After the plumber did the pipe repair, Aric replaced all the tile in both rooms. So careful and professional, he did a beautiful job as well.
Our homeowners insurance was really surprised and impressed by how quickly everything was done.
We were just glad to get back to normal so quickly.
I have to say that if you live in the Twin Falls area and have a loss or need remodeling you will never go wrong with Summit!
