We’ve worked with a lot of HVAC companies over the years, but none have impressed us like Steve’s Plumbing and Air Conditioning. Ryan Y. and David S. were fantastic from start to finish. They showed up on time, were incredibly knowledgeable, and made sure to explain everything they were doing in a way that was easy to understand. Their communication was excellent, and they really took the time to walk us through what to expect, both during the service and moving forward.

It’s rare to find technicians who are not only skilled but also genuinely kind and thorough. They didn’t just do the job — they made sure we knew how to take care of the system afterward, which we really appreciated.

We’re officially loyal customers now and won’t hesitate to call them again for anything plumbing or AC-related. And honestly, Ryan and David are rockstars — if anyone deserves a raise, it’s them

I’ve gone to Steve’s a few times for various plumbing, gas line and A/C jobs and they always come through with high-quality repairs. They always go the extra mile to make sure I’m getting the most bang for my buck and come up with solutions that make the most sense for my needs. On different jobs I was helped by Jeremy and Maka and both were very professional, helpful and skilled at what they do. Steve’s is now my go-to for this kind of work!

Rob was professional polite and pricey. He did
the work quickly and genially. Your company is a bit more than others. That's why four stars. At least you showed up when you said, so maybe back to five stars. The other guys were cheaper , but if you're not on the job you can quote any price.

We're long-time customers and have always received top of the line service. Prompt, Professional, and Personal. Korey Dufrene handled our latest multiple leaks in kitchen and bathroom, explaining everything before he did anything, and offered several options for repair/replacement. He handled the entire work himself expertly and completely. Steve's is always our first call. If we're lucky, we'll get Korey again!

Kerry did the initial inspection for a busted shower faucet. In the course of our conversation this job turned into a full bathroom renovation. Take out the old tile shower, fix the peeling ceiling, change the vanity and paint. He is very helpful.
They started on the job the next day.
Nick did the demolition of the shower and did a neat and fast job. He was very helpful with picking out things that we needed. Job is still ongoing. Stay tuned.
Kerry and Nick are very professional in the way that they conduct themselves. There was no attitude like how I have encountered with other people from other companies.

Great experience and a quick turn around on replacing my water heater. They were friendly and professional. Zachary installed my water heater with no issue. When we noticed the water wasn't as hot as before they came out and troubleshot the same day and fixed the problem. Would highly recommend the company and installers.

Called Steve's in a panic because not only was a tsunami on the way, but I got up that morning to a leak under my house. I had called my old plumber but he didn't get back to me until mid afternoon letting me know he was now retired. I didn't know who to call but I Googled plumbers in my area and Steve's had the best reviews. Well, now I know why. Starting with my conversation with Liz in the office to getting a call from Daniel in the field, all my interactions were friendly and reassuring. Not only did Daniel go to my house with a tsunami bearing down on Oahu but he turned off my water and gave me his personal phone number insisting I call him when I finally got home which wasn't until 8:30 that night. Then he came at 8:00 the following morning and completely fixed the problem. He didn't leave until the job was completely fixed so my husband and I didn't have to deal with a leak and no water. I will absolutely call on Steve's Plumbing again in the future. And Daniel will be my go-to expert!

Every staff person I dealt with was friendly, helpful and professional. Nicolas did a great job, asked appropriate questions to understand the problem and dealt with it quickly and cleanly. He treated me with respect.

Apologies for the late review. Much appreciation for Anthony. We had some water pressure issues and he stopped by late afternoon to assess the situation(s). He returned promptly the next morning and addressed things that were needed and then provided attention to situations that were not initially noticed which could have lead to more challenges down the road.

Benjamin Narvaes fixed the heater copper pipe leak. Very friendly, approachable, did a great job that satisfied me as a customer.

An appointment was made to have my solar water heater looked at. At the appointed time, Alex Amina arrived and quickly assessed the situation and resolved the problem. He is very knowledgeable in that he clearly answered all questions, and extremely thorough in completing his tasks. The techician Alex came out for the appointment. He was very knowledgeable and professional. There were 5 projects I wanted estimates for. He was able to explain what each would entail and provided me with costs right away. He replaced 2 hose bibbs pretty fast. I was very happy with his work. They also offer financing if needed for bigger projects and 10% off the total cost if you schedule additional plumbing jobs. Thanks for the great service.

I had purchased a home in Ewa Beach and upon moving in, I found a pipe spewing water in my backyard. The water needed to be shut off so we couldn't use the toilets, shower, etc. Anthony C. came out and fixed the problem very quickly. He was very professional and knowledgeable, and I had running water again in no time! Thanks Anthony for the fast and friendly service :)

My 5-star experience started with my first time call to Steve’s Plumbing. I think it was Diana who took my info to schedule shower valve repair. She went beyond awesome to locate a tech to address my emergency.
Brandon came much sooner than promised and immediately assessed situation. Options weee provided; we opted for most complete service, while costing more, was well worth it.
Brandon was courteous, responsive to my stupid questions, respectful. Excellent work was completed within the promised time frame.
I will be using Steve’s again, because they perform as their motto states, with Aloha.

Ryan Y and Travis did a great job. They were super efficient and saw everything through with quality. Highly recommend Steve’s Plumbing and the team there!

Ben came to check out our toilet that was having a slow leak at the base. He tested it by flushing it a number to times and felt around to see where there might be a leak. The toilet seemed okay but Ben kept testing and looking and he finally found the leak! He changed out the wax (hope I'm using the right word) which required removing the toilet. He did it so quickly I couldn't believe it. Plus he brought it to our attention that the flapper was showing signs of age and recommended it get changed. Totally satisfied with his efficient and professional work.

We had a fantastic experience with this company! Our AC went out out of nowhere, and they quickly sent out Nikolaus, who was absolutely incredible. He was kind, patient, and took the time to thoroughly explain the issue in a way we could understand. Nikolaus was extremely respectful of our space and even stayed after the repair to ensure the AC was fully up and running before he left. Truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend this company—and especially Nikolaus!

Zachery Brownfield and his apprentice Chase Walsh did an outstanding job replacing my garbage disposal. They were very professional and explained to me step-by-step how to remove and replace my garbage disposal. I used STEVES Plumbing for my A/C a couple of months ago and I was SO impressed that I utilized there services for my garbage disposal with no disappointment. I was in a bind during my home renovations when my original plumber was on vacation. I reached out to Steven’s Plumbing for a last-minute water heater installation, and I couldn’t be happier with how it worked out.

Ryan Y helped us with our mini split AC issues. He examined our system and determined there was a refrigerant leak, he set us up with some new refrigerant and added a dye so he can pinpoint the exact location(s) of the leak. He was professional, friendly, and considerate. Great service!

My experience using Steve’s Plumbing has been great. Daniel Benitez is the person that did the job. He changed out a toilet and changed the main valve and the reducer and another valve in another bathroom. That did not stop the water I kept hearing. Daniel came back and we listened in the bathroom. The tiniest leak was causing the water to run. We could hardly hear the leak but the water was running. Daniel went and got the part and changed it in like 10 minutes. (According to my Son). He was in and out. He is very smart and did not mind teaching me about plumbing and how it works. I am very satisfied with Daniel’s work.

Quick response from the team to schedule someone to come out. Shane, our technician, was helpful in explaining what was going on throughout the entire process.

Levi and Ben didn't hesitate to give me a quote and advice to fix my problems.

Brandon S. solved my issue right away. Was also helpful in giving me tips about the plumbing issue I had and signed me up for their maintenance program. He helped check our water heater and gave me some tips on that as well. Suggested some stuff I had with our water pressure and was very informative. Great company with great customer service. Cory B. came out for a scheduled appointment to add new washer hot/cold shutoff valves. Before leaving, I asked his opinion on my 20-yr old water heater. He gave me his professional opinion and he installed a new water heater the same day. Yes, the x2 plumbing issues were expensive, but Cory was able to provide a cost analysis prior to any work being done. Cory absolutely did an amazing job and I couldn’t be more happier with him and Steve’s Plumbing services. Thanks for taking care of your customers!

Amazing service! Travis spent all day at my house working on my A/C systems. Steve’s had recently installed a split A/C for me, but the noise was keeping me up at night. They were kind enough to relocate it at no charge. Travis painstakingly moved it and took care of every detail. His diligence and attention to detail was incredible…much better than you ever find with contractors on this island. The additional A/C work was very reasonably priced and Travis completed it quickly. I’m so impressed that I signed up for their Ohana Service plan. Thanks for the military discount too!

Flew in from LA kids and grandkids this time. Every sink, shower and tub backed up Sunday. Monday early am Alex is here diagnosed main blocked on hillside. Diagnosed, fixed and managed from 23 ft hi. Heavy snake and camera. I should be good for many years. Love the monthly program. No more plumbing worries.

Our AC was having issues recently where it kept shutting off intermittently and turning back on. We called up Steve’s Plumbing & AC and Ryan helped us out. Alex Amina was dispatched w/in two hours of my call. Excavated and diagnosed the problem. Created a plan and statement of work with estimate. Returned with helper the next day and cut concrete, did a surface reroute to restore service to my upstairs and an important hose connection. Solid work, no dilly- dally, done.

We had a recurring problem due to poor installation. Landry was very thorough at assessing the problem. He explained everything and made multiple suggestions for repair. He took care of everything. Thank you Landry & Steve’s Plumbing.

Had a great experience with Steve's Plumbing & AC Oahu! We had two toilets replaced and a snake service done. Our Master Service Technician, Sunny S., arrived around 8:30 AM—well within the expected 7 AM to 12 PM window—and was professional, courteous, and incredibly thorough.

Sunny went above and beyond by walking me through every step of the process. He explained exactly what he was going to do and took the time to break down why the toilet was leaking water every time it flushed. His knowledge and communication made the entire experience stress-free and informative.

The work was completed efficiently and done right the first time. I really appreciated the clear explanation and quality service. Highly recommend Steve’s Plumbing, especially if you’re lucky enough to get Sunny S. on the job!

Outstanding job! Steve’s Pluming completely sorted us out. Anthony single-handedly removed and installed our new water heater. I can also say everyone I’ve interacted with at Steve’s has been extremely helpful. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Ryan came out to my home yesterday to check on my AC, and I have to say—he was phenomenal. He didn’t rush through the appointment and took his time explaining everything to me. You could tell right away that he was professional, knowledgeable, and truly cared about doing right by the customer.

There were definitely opportunities where he could’ve upsold me or quoted unnecessary repairs, but he didn’t. Instead, he called the office to double-check discounts and explore every option to help me out. That level of honesty and integrity isn’t something you see often.

Even though the reality is my AC unit is outdated, Ryan didn’t just drop that bomb and walk away—he broke it down in a way I could understand. That right there earned my business for good.

Brandon came to fix our washer and was a great technician to work with. He arrived early knowing that we had a neighbor isle scheduled that morning.
He worked very efficiently and knew exactly what the problem was. The problem was resolved so quickly that he was on his way in less than an hour.

We initially had a negative experience with this company where the technician misdiagnosed the problem and caused further issues with our AC unit leaving it unfixable. After seeing my negative review the Service Manager called and immediately refunded our $400 deposit and sent his top technician, Braxton. Braxton came right away and was able to fix our AC in two days, after picking up the necessary parts. I respect the Company’s dedication to customer service and turned a negative experience into a positive one. Thank you James and Braxton for the great service!

Brenden Shuman deserves a cash bonus. This young man came to my house and did an outstanding job. His customer skills were top-notch, and his maintenance expertise was beyond the scope. He even taught me a couple of things. The only issue is, if I need AC maintenance again, it has to be Brenden. He definitely set the bar high. Highly recommend him for anything AC. Thanks, Brenden.

Chris arrived promptly as scheduled to diagnose my split a/c unit, which was blowing warm air. He very thoroughly and quickly inspected the entire system. Unfortunately he found a leak, which needed a part that was not in stock. Luckily this part is covered under warranty and Chris spent a good amount of time coordinating the repair with Mitsubishi and his home office. He assured me he would return once the part arrived and he would complete the repair. Throughout the process Christ was polite, respectful, and took the time to explain how my a/c system operates in response to my many questions. I look forward to his return and completion of the job.

It took a little longer than I expected, but Steve’s plumbing office staff kept me updated on when my part had arrived and they could complete my job. Chris returned to finish the repair and work diligently to complete the repair I will call on Steve’s plumbing in the future. Should I need plumbing or AC service.

I had asked for quotes from 5 different places, but they were the ones I wanted to work with because of all the reviews on Yelp. They were very fast and professional on the phone. Their booking fee was $20 more than the other guys, but the phone person placed me on hold and asked for a discount to match the other guys and I didn’t even ask . The tech that came to our home was prompt and very professional and explained everything to me. In and out in less than 20 minutes. I felt so at ease knowing he knew exactly what kind of repair I needed. He showed me the set price and I paid half. They came back when my water could be shut off. He was on time on the dot and fast and professional. He even offered to fix disposal, he knew before I asked if I needed a fix. Our building is notorious for leaks and I’ve been through a nightmare plumbing experience in 2019. I am definitely using them in the future. They were their when I really needed them. I highly recommend Jeff and this company.

Update: 2 years later and I continue to use this company and highly recommend. Today Tevita Manu worked on our repairs, he also had a partner. He was very thorough with his job and did an awesome job!

Update: 8 months later
A new issue came up that resulted in my upstairs being the source of the leak. I had Daniel Benitez and he is by far the most professional and knowledgeable person I’ve worked with. He took the time to explain the possible issues and options to investigate. Knowing I understand zero, he was patient in answering my questions to understand what our situation was. I have had my fair share of unrelated plumbing issues and know the differences between different plumbing companies. Daniel Benitez has been the best to work with.

We just received service from Brendan Lemming for a late night emergency call. He showed up and saved our night from any more stress with our water heater leak. He made an assessment very quickly and fixed it less than 30 minutes. He checked other plumbing fixtures just to make sure there were no other impacts which I didn’t think to ask. He was through and very professional. He made small talk which definitely helped during a stressful night. He didn’t make us feel rushed because it was late at night. He offered us recommendations for other plumbing issues. Thank Brendan! 10 out of 5 stars.

Update: 7/6/25 Robert Gracie Jr. was very helpful in explaining what he saw as issues. He pointed them all out to us and recommended we take a look at other pipes behind the wall. He saw things that a professional could see. I didn’t realize all the things he pointed out and was only focused on one visible area. But he found other issues with my neighbors/common pipes. I’m grateful for him catching these now instead of going through renovations and sealing the walls and finding out later.
