State Roofing has completed several jobs for our homes, including deck builds, roofing, and balcony waterproofing. They’ve done an excellent job providing information on available products making selection a breeze. The installation crews have been awesome, especially Demitri who built our decks. The city inspector told us that the deck construction was the best he has seen. 100% recommend State Roofing.

Greg came out to my house to give an estimate for roof replacement. He was very nice and thorough. They gave me a very detailed quote and explained the what the job would look like before, during and afterwards. Even offered to help me compare all of my quotes! Very nice man and seems like a good company

Had an excellent experience with State Roofing. Greg came out to take a look at a few concerns we had with our new house based on the inspection and I walked away with a much better understanding of those items and several others that I hadn't thought about.

I have had good and bad experiences with contractors so far, and you can tell the passion and professionalism with State Roofing. Clear answers on questions, going above and beyond in evaluating various conditions, providing tips on maintaining the roof and what to watch out for...I couldn't have asked for more.

They have my future roofing business for sure!

Have not yet had the roof installed but was very pleased with sales and estimate process. No high pressure car salesman back-and-forth with a manager. Very high tech measuring and photographic software. Very nice, very professional salesman, Jeff. Very professional, thorough, and effective person who answered my initial call

Had them out for a quote today and had a very pleasant experience. Jade came out and looked over my roof and showed me a couple options. He didn’t pressure us or try to sell us things we didn’t need. He did give us every detail from type of material to cost and was very upfront about everything. What he didn’t know is that he wasn’t the first estimator that has come out. He noticed things the others didn’t, he explained the what and why and at the end of it they even had the best price. Would absolutely recommend to everyone I know.

well I thought the fellow that came over was fine it turned out we didn't need a new roof yet or even a repair. I was rather surprised, but being disabled I can't get up on the roof myself nor can I see it from ground level very well. nonetheless the fellow was quite nice and we had a nice chat about disabled skiing and whatnot

Jason was great to work with. He walked us through the estimate process with an attention to detail and level of transparency that was much appreciated, and was a big part of our choosing State Roofing for our roof replacement project. We have high expectations for a positive experience, and will update our review once the work is completed.

Just a bid so far, but truly a killer experience. Appointment within days. Got a text w pic of rep and mini bio. Guy even called and asked to come few minutes early. Competent, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Just a stellar experience. Just solid information. Bid on the spot w zero pressure to “close”. Having a random dude come into your home can be creepy these days. State made it a positive, comfortable experience. Thanks Greg. Fantastic meeting you. You were professional, knew your stuff and, between your family and scout troop activities, clearly personally invested in this community in a big way. Way to go state
Roofing. Great experience.

This was just the initial quote appointment. Greg arrived on time and exuded confidence and knowledge. We have used them in the past and they were great. We intend to award the project to State Roofing.

We just signed on today with State Roofing via Aaron, who is an excellent representative for the company! He is very personable, well informed and thorough. He explained our options with pro and cons for each, in relation to our needs. We will Erie another review when the job is completed!

I have been trying to get them to honor our lifetime warranty on our roof for about two months and they will not return my calls. The roof is now leaking worse than when we put in our first claim. I just do not know why they are flat out ignoring us. We called them in July for an estimate for a deck rebuild and they were very prompt. I guess they just want to sell things and not honor their prior work.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
