My wife and I are very pleased with the work The Red Shirt Guys Roofing did at our house. Jonathan, Roy, Ramon and his crew, who did a super job putting new siding on our dormers, and every person who worked on the roof nailing shingles, the ridge vent, and worked in support did great. They are some of the hardest working people I have ever seen and very skilled in their work. Also, they are very courteous and polite. Red Shirt Roofing uses high quality material for shingle replacement and siding. We are very happy with the work and very much recommend this company to anyone who needs help with their roof.

What can I say about The Red Shirt Guys Roofing...outstanding service!! I recently had to get a roof inspection done for insurance purposes and Jonathan had me scheduled and done in a very short amount of time even with all the rain we have been getting lately. The report was way more detailed than what I was expecting and gave me a good idea of how much life is left in my roof so I can start budgeting early for it's replacement. Just had our roof done and could not be happier. The quote was exact and fair, process explained well and the work was done in two days and they did a great job cleaning up. The best was there was no pressure to sell. Kenny knew he would make the sale and did not try the hard sale pressure other companies I called did.

Had to have my roof patched from the direct tv box ripping up the shingles. They were there in a timely manner and finished it quick and efficently. Will used them again for sure!

I had an issue with my repair and left a bad review long after the repair was done and within 30 minutes ( on the weekend no less) the owner was getting in touch with me to better understand the issue and try to make the situation right. I initially turned down his offer but after a few days of thinking about it, what he was offering was fair and I didn’t want to leave a negative review to impact his business when he really did go above and beyond to make it right. Not every job is going to go perfectly with a business with so many moving parts but to have an owner who seems to genuinely care about making customers happy as well as learning and growing as a company is pretty rare these days. So thank you Tim it does actually mean a lot.

This is the second time I have used this company. Both times I have been completely satisfied. The work is great, the employees are respectful and very careful with your property. My yard was cleaner after they left than before they came. I highly recommend this company for all your roofing needs.

What can I say but this company did a Fantastic job! We had two trees that fell on our house during Hurricane Helene and had to have a total roof replacement. They came out and did a outstanding job even working in the coldest of weather situations. They were very aware of landscaping and things around your house not to let anything get disturbed and did a thorough cleaning always. I bought my 1st house at age 50, so it's very special to me. So, when I had a waterfall in my livingroom (It wasn't built with one!), my 1st call was to my insurance company & my 2nd to Red Shirt Guys Roofing. I never even thought about another company. My brother's friend used them years ago & raved about them. 1 of my sisters used them a few months ago, same response & her roof is beautiful! My experience with them? Amazing. From start to finish, they made what could have been a nightmare, exciting for me. Kenny walked me through the process & was patient, informative, & kind. Tucker was very nice & stopped by throughout the roofing process to keep me updated. And, the workers were like machines! They worked so hard! My roof is perfect. I believe when people ride by, they notice it. I know that's odd, but it just completes my home. My brother in law even rode some of his friends by to see it! And, him & my sister had their roof done at the same time mine was by....Red Shirt Guys!!! And theirs is perfect, too! I have had the opportunity to work with the Red Shirt Guys Roofing on a couple of occasions. They solved a very tricky roof leak which required them to come out in the pouring rain to investigate the leak. They also repaired a portion of our roof in a very timely manner for a reasonable cost. Each time they were very responsive and did a great job with showing up on time and explaining the process. Due to some rather peculiar & odd weather of late, after a recent storm blew through the midlands last week, I discovered signs of water seeping through my bathroom roof, which sent me on my pursuits to research, evaluate, & engage with a roofing company who's reputation and quality of work, coupled with their reliability all came together.
I'll make a long story somewhat brief, after narrowing down my choice to a few local companies, I wound up selecting The Red Shirt Guys Roofing company.
From my initial call to Tim, who promptly scheduled a home visit by Jonathan to come out & evaluate my roof situation, and I'll add quite thoroughly at that, he got up into my attic, got up on the roof, documented (visually) issues he found, then discussed his recommendations to remedy the situation, and subsequently scheduled an appointment a few days later for the The Red Shirt Guys Roofing crew (Marteen & Roy) to come out & perform the needed repairs.
I can't tell you how pleased I was and AM with these folks, having relocated down south a few years ago from up north yonder, my interactions with various contractors over the years has varied from very good, to the worst service ever, so I was AMAZINGLY PLEASED with the level of care, service & workmanship I received from the Red Shirt Crew.

Their attention to even the most mundane, yet caring details, like securing my back yard gate after performing the repairs, cleaning up the discarded shingles on the roof, to their punctuality in showing up on (actually, AHEAD of time!) just made for one of the most appreciated dealings with a local company I've had in a while.

First, the customer service is beyond any that I have received from another service company. The pre-project information was great as it allowed me to prepare for the job. The workers were super, they did a great job and worked incredibly fast. The on site project manager, Roy, was great to work with and he addressed any of my concerns. Once the project was completed, the crew worked to make sure there was no nails or other debris in the yard. Roy then walked the entire roof making sure everything was up to standards. He did find some minor issues and he and the crew foreman returned an corrected them. I highly recommend the Red Shirt Guys Roofing.

We hired Red Shirt Guy’s Roofing to replace a 21 year old, residential, roof in June 2024. They were one of three quotes we obtained and were price competitive. Communication (Kenny in sales, office staff & Roy the site manager) was excellent. Their attention to detail, property protection and cleanup were all top notch. Product and installation techniques were both excellent. In our case, the project was completed under the quoted price and they adjusted it without prompting.
Be forewarned, each roof project is unique and some minor issues will pop-up, but these folks are straightforward, informed us in a timely manner and resolved every concern in a professional and polite way.

UPDATE: October 2024. After Hurricane Helene rolled thru we had a small amount of damage to a siding trim piece adjacent to a gable roof section. Called the RS Guy’s who responded quickly, fixed the issue, added additional nails to prevent any recurrence and charged me zero. They stand behind their work, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This company is the best! From start to finish they have been exemplary. Jonathan was my representative and worked with me from the estimate, questions, scheduling, and follow-up. Ramon was the installer and his work is impeccable with attention to detail and cleanliness. He even checked and sealed other penetrations on my roof before leaving.
You can't go wrong with these "guys" as they are thorough and I have no doubt will stand behind their work.

Responsive and Resolute!
Dormers are pretty, but that's about it! We've had leaks on and off for years. When a very heavy December rain created new issues, The Red Shirt Guys quickly assessed the dormers and surrounding area and were able to repair, re-flash, and re-roof all that needed to be in order to seal things up perfectly, and in a timely, fairly priced way. Jonathan came out and quoted the job. It was a great price. He explained everything about what would happen and what would need to be done if there were any issues with the roof.

The crew was here at 7 am to start tearing it off. I did receive a call from the project manager who stated that I had several sheets of plywood that would need to be replaced. I received pictures of everything.

The crew had the roof off and replaced by 5 pm. They cleaned up my entire yard, leaving no traces of the old roof.

They did a great job repairing an old leaky roof on a shop that was 40 years old. They literally resurrected this building and gave it another 40 years of awesome life!

I called to find out if they would install a solar roof fan. The answer was no, but when I asked, they were kind enough to refer me to a company that will.

We live in Texas, and our rental property in South Carolina needed a new roof. The Red Shirt Guys were extremely easy to work with, even from 1,000 miles away. They sent us photos of the damage to the original roof, photo samples of shingle colors and a detailed quote. They scheduled our job within one week and finished in one day (plus a day for inspection), providing more photos of the finished roof. A very satisfying experience.
