We decided to go with S&K for replacement of windows, doors, siding, fascia, downspouts and gutters. From day 1 we found everyone we worked with to be exceptionally responsive, supportive and timely. The crews sent out to do the work were amazing. The windows crew went above and beyond to do quality installations in a quick and friendly manner, and during the absolute worst weather with actual temperatures over 105 degrees. The siding crew were friendly, efficient, and energetic, putting in several very long days in adverse weather to do excellent work. They even went above and beyond by recommending and then installing plywood and new insulation which turned out to be sorely needed. Finally, the gutter crew came out and were quick, quiet, and very efficient. Before we knew it, the job was done. We are so appreciative of the work and customer service we’ve received from S&K. The results are far better than we imagined. We’re super happy!

Good work, clearly communicated about the work and answered all questions. Only complaint is they left without a heads up, but they cleaned up well so not a complaint!

Cleanup on day one was a bit to be desired. I had to go out and pick up some trash that was blowing around. Day 2 we had some issues with the crew installing the underlayment on a wet roof deck. Had I not said something they would have continued installing the shingles over a wet roof deck. Crystal did assure me that any issues that may arise due to the wet roof deck would be resolved should any problems arise in the future. Clean up on day 2 was much better. There are still pallets sitting on my front lawn 2 days after completion.

The crew was on Time and did a high quality job , the clean up was well done . We were very. Pleased with the way it looks.

The window trim needed replacing around 40 windows of various sizes and shapes due to defective materials. The installers were excellent. They replaced and resealed the window trim to perfection. Yes, I spy use these installers again.

Compared against 5 other roofing companies. Best price. Work looks fine, but dumped a ton of shingle gravel into attic.

I contacted S&K to install an exhaust vent to the roof of our townhouse. I appreciate the professionalism and responsiveness of everyone I interfaced with. I appreciate their willingness to perform a small ask of installing a vent. We had our roof replaced previously, by a different company who was unwilling to return to install the vent. I wish we had selected S&K to replace our roof as they are a much better company that is responsive and committed to their customers. I highly recommend S&K Roofing.

Everything went great for installing metal roofing over 2 bay windows and a frost line roof. They came out and finished it all in 1 day. There are a lot of special angles and bending for the bay windows. The original roofs were copper and we had the option to replace it with copper (which is more expensive) or metal. Everything looks great. You get what you pay for.

For the clean-up they used a rolling magnet tool which picked up all of the nails that were dropped in the driveway and street.

Had storm damage to roof and skylight and S&K came out quickly and inspected the roof and skylight. They promptly gave me an estimate and scheduled the repair. They came exactly on time and completed the repair professionally and quickly. Cannot tell there was any damage. Their price was reasonable and the staff were great to deal with.

S&K did an excellent job replacing our siding on our house. They weee quick to come out and give us an estimate and to schedule the installation. They maintained contact with us the whole time. Josh and his team are great!

I selected S&K Roofing to replace a nearly 50 year old deck going from an upper patio to a swimming pool with top of the line Azek decking. They gave me an accurate estimate subject to revision depending on the state of the foundation, which unfortunately we discovered had to be rebuilt. Their revised estimate was accurate. The men worked hard and kept the job site clean. Some material had to be special ordered but they kept me informed on the progress. Workmanship was top quality. Their financing option was so convenient, I took advantage of it. I would strongly recommend S&K Roofing.

S&K did a fantastic job with my new siding, roofing and gutters! The whole team was helpful, reliable and had a strong attention to detail.

I obtained three quotes for a new roof of asphalt shingles. With nearly identical products and methods, the price was the determining factor. S&K offered an extra discount which tipped the balance in their favor.

The crew came as promised and worked efficiently. The roof looks good and the cleanup was fine. Very few nails were left behind. So far, we have only had one substantial rain, which is not much of a test, but there is no reason at this point to doubt the quality of the work. So why not 5 stars?

At the first meeting with their sales rep. I asked what would happen if the loading crane could not enter the driveway because of low-hanging wires. He tried to deflect the question and defer that issue to the day it might happen. I insisted on a number for the potential additional cost. However, when the first version of the contract appeared on October 5 it did NOT contain that number.

The October 5 quote also contained the surprising statement that “We will not remove or re-install gutter covers, screens or helmets. Please notify our office if you have a gutter cover system prior to commencement of work.” The visit to our house should have made it clear that we do have gutter covers. When I objected to this wording, the sales rep. tried to deflect it and stated that they would in fact remove and replace the gutter covers as a matter of routine. “It’s just that any warranty will be voided.” That is understandable, but why not write that instead of making a statement that is contradictory to actual practice?

A revised version of the contract was sent to me on October 12. The contentious line had been grudgingly deleted. However, the cost of the truck not being able to access the driveway was still missing. After another call, the latter was finally remedied: $680 was the potential charge—not insignificant!

There was a similar case of poor communication after the installation. A ring of daylight could be seen around the exit of the exhaust pipe from the attic furnace. My concerns were initially dismissed, and a blurry picture taken from a large distance was sent to me for consolation. But a technician was requested to visit some days later. I was away at the time, and not informed about the outcome, nor given the pictures that I had requested. After my inquiry, another technician was dispatched. We met, he listened, and got good pictures. He also applied additional sealer around the exhaust pipe and now there is virtually no light coming through.

In summary: good price, most likely a good roof, but poor communication.

We could not have asked for better service and talent from S&K. Our house looks amazing with the new siding, trim, front porch and gutters. Thank you Bobby, all the Mary's, Jae and Freddy.
