It was a great experience contracting with S&K for our roofing. Installers were punctual and organized and each person took extra time during installation. Specially I want to thank Crystal at the office for accommodating with installation dates. Chad was available at all times and very responsive. My future contracts would be with S&K.

If you’re looking for a roofing contractor, look no further. We’ve contracted with S&K for several jobs and every experience was 5-star. Our new roof is the envy of the neighborhood! It’s been less than a week and we’ve gotten several compliments from neighbors. From beginning to end the staff was professional and friendly. The bushes and yard were protected with tarps and every scrap of debris was removed. When the job was done, all we had to do was admire the work. Getting a new roof is a major investment. S&K will ensure you’re satisfied with the results.

I cannot say enough good things about the roofing job just completed by S & K Roofing. The whole experience from signing the contract to job completion was trouble-free and professional, also the third time they have done a job for us in the past 25 yrs. They were very thorough in their clean-up. They stayed 'til 6:30 p.m. to complete the job before the storm arrived. From the initial phone call to the in person site visit to the work quote to the work being done, S&K were professional, polite and responsive.

The installation of the windows and siding were excellent. The workmen were knowledgeable and very friendly. It was a great experience and we couldn't be happier with the result.

I initially spoke with Annie, the customer service rep, who was very sweet and helpful. She told me she’d pass along my information to a supervisor in the field. I eventually received a call from the supervisor, who at first seemed knowledgeable and willing to help.

After that initial call, communication completely fell apart. The sales manager, Robert, stopped answering my phone calls and would only respond via email. I asked him for an updated quote and specifically requested a phone call to discuss details — he never followed through.

As for pricing, it was completely unreasonable. They quoted $975 to replace an existing attic fan with a new one, and $1,040 to cut a new hole and install a second attic fan at a different property — with them supplying the fans. Between the lack of communication and the inflated prices, I can’t recommend this company. Look elsewhere if you want better service, transparency, and fair pricing

S & K deliver high quality roof products at a competitive price. We most recently had gutter covers, installed on our home. S & K provided options with explanations of the benefits and drawbacks of each solution and left it to us to decide. No high pressure sales. The price was amongst the lowest quote received as we'll. Very happy with the workmanship and the result.

The team that came out was very polite, professional and quick. Everything was cleaned up and taken care of. I use S&K for all my projects.

I hired S&K to remove dormers from a house I just bought because they started leaking. I previously used S&K to install a new front door on my old house and was pleased with the work. So it was easy for me choose them again. The dormers were.removed, new plywood put down and new roof installed. The work was completed to my satisfaction and I would choose them again.

S&K did a fantastic job with our siding, soffit and gutters. The whole S&K team was very pleasant to work with and were thrilled with the transformation of our home

I was pleased with the following:
•. S & K replaces damaged siding. Too many other companies gave me estimates for replacing all of the siding on my house or replacing both the damaged siding and my undamaged roof.
•. Because I worried about further storm damage, while I waited for their repair, a salesman tacked a tarp down over holes in my siding a couple of weeks before they replaced it. No charge. Wouldn’t accept a tip.
•. They did a good job in preparing, insulating, and placing a barrier underneath the vinyl panels.
•. They replaced the old rectangular gable vent with a nice new one.
•. They replaced my dryer vent with a nice new one.
•. At my request, they covered up a second dryer vent that had been used for a kiln exhaust that I no longer own.
•. Except for covering up the pipe in the attic, it looks like they did a good job installing the vinyl panels and all trim around the roof, windows, dryer vent, and gable vent.
•. Nice cleanup. Only a few vinyl slivers left on the ground.

I was disappointed with the following:
•. No one in the company communicates or negotiates directly with insurance companies.
•. S & K refused to give me an estimate listing specific materials, quantities of each material, and the cost of each as my insurance company requested.
•. In replacing my siding, the workers accidentally disconnected my Verizon FIOS cable. Thus, I was disconnected from the Internet for 3 days.
•. There was a 5 week delay between my signing a contract and submitting the down payment and the time they replaced my siding. They said their usual lead time after getting a signed contract is 8 weeks.
•. Even though I had given them the old, fallen vinyl air vent and showed them the pipe in the attic to which it led, the workers chose to COVER UP the pipe, rather than, placing another vinyl air vent over it like it had been vented for 25 years. I worry that the pipe may be part of the natural gas system that goes through my attic and ventilation may be important for safety reasons.

I couldn’t be happier. We needed a timely response to installation and Chris Moran worked with us. They were on time and the price was very fare. We had to get creative in our installation and I’m very happy with the results.

The S&K roofing crew did a great job with my new roof install. They were there all day, working very hard on a hot day, and cleaned up everything. Great experience all around!

We used S&K to replace our roof, gutters, rebuild two decks, and replace two exterior doors (they told us our windows did not need replacing). We are extremely happy with their work. All their teams are professional, courteous, and friendly. All their work is high quality! We highly recommend them and will return to them when we need their services again.

We recently had new windows installed at our Columbia rental property by S&K Roofing-Siding-Windows, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Living in California, we were on a tight timeline to prepare our Columbia, Maryland property for the next tenant. Brad was thorough, provided a clear and reasonable quote, and scheduled the installation to meet our deadline.

Extraordinary Service. Extraordinary attention to detail. The crew was meticulous in removing the previous shingles, replacing 40-year-old damaged plywood panels, and reapplying flashing and shingles. They were so careful about cleanup that there was literally not a nail, a splinter or a piece of shingle left in the yard or on the deck. They’re not inexpensive, but it was a terrific experience and worth the price to not have to think about the roof for another 25 years. Used them for my daughter’s roof also. Highly recommend.

We have hired S&K twice now for work on our house, and would hire them again a third and fourth time without hesitation. Their professionalism and the work they do is on the highest level. They even left our house cleaner than when they arrived!

It has not yet rained, but all indications are that the new roof will provide a safe and secure envelope for the property. The crews were knowledgeable, seasoned veterans. I give them an "A" rating.

We got new shutters installed. The crew that came out was very polite and efficient! We have a lot of plants in the front yard and the workers all seemed to be very cognizant about making sure they didn't get damaged during the install. And the shutters look great!

Great service and timely completion of a roof and gutter installation. The on-site communication could have been better, I wasn't sure who the on-site supervisor was...but the job was done well.

We've had S&K install full siding replacement and a skylight on a townhouse and place gutter guards on a single family house and both times, they've done an amazing job! In 2007 as I neared retirement I mentioned to work colleagues I wanted to wrap the trim on my four bedroom two story colonial house so I no longer needed to paint the wood trim. Several immediately replied, "You need SK Roofing!" Not only did SK wrap the trim, they also replaced the rain gutters, the garage door, and the front door. I received a call-back call to insure I was completely satisfied, and I replied there was a small issue with a gutter downspout. They had the subcontractor come out to redo it! I was delighted! So when I needed to replace the roof this year, I went directly to SK. The roof was replaced in a single day and I am delighted! The Crew arrived on time and got right to work. The old roof and all debris were removed, cleanup was exceptional, and the roof looks awesome! I was delighted to learn the new roof has a fifty-year guarantee, transferrable to a new owner within the first 12.5 years! I wholeheartedly recommend this company for all your home exterior needs!

A couple weeks ago SK did a 'touch-up' on the 18-year old trim wrap. There's trim wrap and there's trim wrap... The S&K Team are artists, creating a wrap with character: creases with changes in depth result in shadows that suggest mouldings. I'm delighted with their work and highly recommend them to all who want the unique look!

I gotta give another shoutout to S&K Roofing, and specifically Julio. S&K and their stellar team installed a new roof for us six years ago and the quality and customer service are second to none. Yesterday during a rain storm I discovered a leak in the roof. I called S&K and Julio came out that same day. He pinpointed the source of the leak as a fallen branch that had pierced a joint in the plywood under the shingles. Julio immediately patched the hole. Even though the damage was not a result of faulty craftsmanship on the part of S&K, Julio declined to charge me for his repair work. He said S&K wants to ensure their customers have their problems resolved and are always completely satisfied. This is standard treatment for S&K. Always looking out for their customers. Top quality, stellar customer relations!

We love our new windows. The staff and crews at S&K are always fantastic to work with, and they stand behind quality products and installation. Over the years we've had S&K do our roof, chimney sealing, now the windows, and currently (literally, as we speak) new siding. Couldn't be happier with our experiences working with them.

Everything went smoothly. Easy to schedule the first visit to see what needed to be done, easy to schedule the date for the work. And I can't find a single bit of debris left behind, so it looks like clean-up was as 100% complete as promised.

They did not do any work for me but I selected these people because they have really good ratings and really good reviews but when I call for an estimate they are asking me all kinds personal information about the house and wanted to know if I lived there and if the house was mine and looked up the house and made comments and was pretty rude about it. I don’t know what was the issue and hope I was not being profiled.

The guys were on time and fastidious about spreading tarps to protect my yard. They were finished faster than expected and the supervisor made a point of of checking the attic fan , attic insulation and bathroom fans. Altogether I’m very pleased with the project.

We had a broken handrail on our ramp. I called S&K who we've used on several projects since we moved here in 1990 (roof shingles twice, shingle repairs twice and building a room between our porch and our swim spa) and asked my salesman Erik if it was something he would be willing to look at and give us a price to repair. When I heard the doorbell ring this morning I saw Erik on the landing at the top of the ramp. He greeted me with a smile and said, "It's fixed". Turns out that the coupler that connected the 2 pieces of the rail had slid up into one side of rail. He pulled it out and then reconnected the railing and put in a couple of screws to keep the coupler from sliding out again. I offered to pay him, but he said it was an easy fix and that he was happy he could take care of it.

What a great way to start the day.

Recently worked with Chris Moran as our salesperson for the purchase/installation of a sliding glass door. As usual, S&K was prompt, efficient and reasonable in their pricing. Having used S&K previously for roofing/siding/gutters and soffit, I expected nothing less.
