Before Ivan came to price our interior project, we’d had 3 other people/companies come to provide quotes and the difference in the time and care put forth to involve us and explain the costs and what to expect was like night and day.

Ivan is a charismatic professional who made us feel at ease with his personable attitude and transparent practices. Unlike the other people who looked at the areas, took some pictures and sent us an email quote later, Ivan did measurements there, and explained the different aspects of pricing to us, as well as the benefits of choosing The Painter, Inc over other options. I was looking for interior painting services for my investment property in Hampton, Virginia and stumbled upon your company. I scheduled an appointment the next day and Kyle was the representative that came to my house. Due to me living in NY, I initially missed the appointment with him. However, Kyle left his card and upon calling him, he immediately came back. Overall, Kyle was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He took his time with me and my husband to inform us about The Painter Inc. company, explain painting options, gave us cost estimate(s), and outlined the next steps. He made this process feel stress-free. And the Welcome Package he provided was superb. I was very pleased with the service provided.

On the day that the painting services were scheduled, Bacu and his Team were very pleasant, punctual, and friendly. They kept us well informed on the progress of the work, worked quickly but thoroughly, and provided pictures of the end result since I was in New York to make sure that it was done to our satisfaction. They did an excellent paint job and my house was very clean. We appreciate the professionalism, knowledge, and interpersonal skills that were shown by Bacu and his Team. Ivan came out and did a through evaluation of my cabinates. He pointed out issues and addresed them in the quote which will result in a much better job. Can't wait for the interior designer to come in and hopefully confirm my color choices. Going from expresso cabinates to much lighter paint.

Bacu, Jesus and Miriam were prompt every day they were here. Jesus and Miriam were clean and neat in their painting and picked up at the end of each day.

I originally called The Painter because several of my friends had recommended them. So, i made an appointment and I met Ivan back in May of this year. He was very personable, professional and thorough!!!!

Top notch service from the start! First, Ivan gave us a detailed estimate of work needed. He was a great listener, professional & VERY knowledgable outlining exactly the work that would be done. Second, the team that did the painting (primarily Miriam & Jesus) were meticulous in all they did (prep, painting & clean up). True artists! Third, Adam popped in a few times to do quality control checks. He had an eagle eye on details, was very professional and was incredibly thorough in checking the painting crew's work. I was very pleased with my experience using this company for painting the interior of a rental property on short-ish notice. They showed up when promised, told me what to expect, delivered on time and on budget communicating with me along the way. Refreshing! I would certainly use them again.

Took them 6 visits over a 6 week period to get the job done right. Got paint on leather furniture, floors, counters and sinks

They stand by their promise to make things right and made good on their money back guarantees. Just wish their crews could have done the job right the first time.

It cost me an hour of my time everytime they worked to walk back through, take pictures of issues, and send them to the project manager. Too many issues took 3 to 4 walk throughs (some of which with the PM present), pictures, and notes to get done.

From start to finish a very professional and great job. I will be using them again this fall on another job. Highly recommend.

What an amazing company! They painted the exterior of our house and repaired a fence around our HVAC they paid close attention to detail and kept us up-to-date at all times during the project. We will definitely use them again for interior projects as well as painting our kitchen cabinets. We highly recommend them!

Ivan and Joe did a great job (and we’re just at the quoting stage)! They answered every question thoroughly and when we told them we weren’t signing today (despite being tempted) there was no high pressure tactics deployment. They were kind and sent a copy of the quote.

The Painter, Inc. just completed a fairly complex project involving exterior painting and a variety of related repairs. I collected several attractive bids, but their bid offered more repairs and two coats of paint at a better price than alternatives that only offered a single coat. From the estimate process to scheduling the project to completing the repairs and painting, every employee of the company worked hard to ensure that I was satisfied with their work. They are a great company with enthusiastic, friendly people who perform the highest quality work in a safe and efficient way. I most highly recommend them for painting and associated repairs.

Since my initial review, I used this company again for another project. They fit me into their tight schedule, and finished the project with excellent results. Again, I highly recommend them for all painting projects, including associated repair work. They are terrific!

The quality of work does not match the quantity of what I paid. Many mistakes were made, job was incomplete and had to be addressed several times. Painters removed closet doors from bedrooms and hallway during work to paint and left them on the floor without putting them back on. Attempted to
Contact Ivan to have crew place the doors back on, but never got a response after I made final payment. The paint crew also used my trash can as their own personal trash can for their food and garbage. I would recommend shopping around before selecting this company, especially for the asking price for the requested work.

Update: After this initial review the company sent an email advising the contractor, Ivan never received a response from me. This was obviously a lie for the simple fact I contacted Ivan Via text about the closet doors and thanks to IPhone read receipt was notified the message was indeed reviewed the same night I sent it. (Save and document your messages with this company) Ivan contacted me back Via text and avoided taking any responsibility for the mishap. My family decided that we no longer feel comfortable having this companies workers have access to our home due to the lack of integrity. We emailed the company back with our documented conversations and complaint with Ivan and requested a refund for the closet doors that were dismounted and painted by the work crew. Never got a response back, but hey they mailed me brownies in a thank you box. Also, the closet doors were missing parts and brackets were bent that were mounted into the frames.

Another thing, found out the garbage thrown into my recycling bin from the work crew contained food waste from those work crews and caused a fruit flies infestation in my garage.

To put things into perspective, I paid $7 Grand for the work to be done on my home. You expect quality work with those prices. You’re better off working with personal contractors who will probably charge less and do a better job.

Second update: Contact was made with the owner, Gabriel. To keep things simple, I requested for the reimbursement of the closet doors and work done on those doors. It was ten closet doors in total. Gabriel advised he would get back with me and you can obviously guess he did not.

This lack of follow-up from this business has become more comical than insulting at this point. I would have more respect for this business if they would be straight forward and just say, “we are not doing anything for you.”

I believe the 1 star rating reflects accurately the quality of work, attention to detail and customer service from this business.

Third update: We received an email that a reimbursement of $1,000 dollars would be mailed to resolve this issue. The only thing that was asked of us was to adjust this review to reflect it was resolved.

I am happy to update that we did not receive any reimbursement in the mail and this matter was never resolved.

The one star for this company will stay and I will recommend to other customers to seek business elsewhere. You will most likely pay less and have a better outcome with other painting companies.

Excellent initial meeting to develop proposal. Detailed quote with description of work to be performed and cost. Workers showed up when expected, worked diligently to complete task on Tim, and did an excellent job of cleaning up. Post- job review by management to verify work was completed as contracted and customer was happy.

The Painter Inc. went above and beyond our expectations. We needed a few walls touched up and the risers in our new LVP stairs needed to be painted after having been installed. Our painter experienced an unexpected glitch when he removed an outlet cover to paint the wall behind it. Ivan, who we contracted with, instructed him over the phone how to begin the repair, and Ivan himself finished the repair when he returned in the afternoon. I highly recommend The Painter Inc.!
