River City is always my go-to. They’re reliable, reasonably priced, and available within reasonable timeframes. They have renovated my kitchen, created a W/D closet, insulated under my house, vented my bathroom, the list is endless. I know if anything goes wrong, they will always make it right. I don’t have to bother calling anyone else. I highly recommend them!

This contractor was used by the home seller to fix some ductwork and service the hvac units prior to us purchasing the home. Turns out that they must have missed one thing that was flagged in the inspection and I was taking the seller/contractor at their word it was being fixed. We were taking off a vent register and noticed we were looking straight into the crawl space and was told there's nothing they can do other than us to pay them to fix it because its been 4 months and i should've double checked their work during our final walk through. Just a reminder to always double check the work others do rather than take their word.

Fantastic company! Fast, efficient, professional & great value for the services provided: full unit replacement, some ductwork updated/others insulated properly, condensation pump installed to avoid backups from old poorly run drain line. Showed up on time & finished earlier than I expected!

The most HONEST hvac company I've ever used. Previous companies always try to upsell you while they fixed the problem fast!

Installation of a large chandelier which another service said could not be installed by them -- which turns out to mean they weren't willing to put the effort into it. But River City Home Services DID put the effort in, for which I am obliged.

I cannot speak highly enough of the services provided by River City Homes. Everyone was punctual, efficient, knowledgeable, flexible and polite. Working with Rusty and his crew was a breath of fresh air after a 6 month struggle to begin repairs resulting from a major garbage disposal leak and resulting mold and structure removal.

This being my first contact of service; I was comfortable with the service person being in my home. I appreciated the timely response and professionalism given. I felt confident in the analysis and feedback of what the problem of and solution was for my service needs.

I recently had my heat pump and furnace replaced by River City Home Services. The crew showed up early that morning and had everything installed and running by 4 o’clock that afternoon which was impressive to me since it was a difficult install. The heat pump puts out great heat and the system works really nice and it was thousands of dollars below what other HVAC companies would charge. I highly recommend these guys.

We had a problem with our gutters and he was able to come out and got the problem fixed for us as soon as he could!

I had a leaking hot water tank, made my first call at 8:00 in the morning I responded by 8:30 and had two checks out here within an hour. Entire job was completed by 12:30. Very professional at a reasonable price. Well certainly call them again next time I need home repairs.

Rusty and his team of guys have come a few times over the last few years to fix my two AC units after I moved in. His prices have been fair and the guys have been professional, nice, and knowledgable. I've gotten so I trust these guys. What I like best is they explain what is going on and offer me options when they can so I can make an informed decision on what to do moving forward.

I have used River City Home Services on a couple of occasions. Every time they have always been profession, quick, knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly. They have replaced an HVAC unit, replaced a furnace, and done seasonal service. They have educated me on how to get the most out of my system settings and how to use my systems when they installed them. Their prices are great especially for the service you get. I highly recommend River City Home Services.

Rusty and team did a great job helping me on projects at a commerical property I have. They are very responsive, reasonably priced and do great work. They are also honest and won't commit to a project if it's not something they are well equipped to handle. I would recommend them to anyone!

Installed 2 new Dual Fuel Heat Pumps and were great. Did one in the fall and the second one in the spring. Did a great job, and was helpful in giving me info to make the best decision on what to upgrade to..

An acquaintance suggested using River City Home Services to look at our broken Heat Pump. Rusty told us there was a $29 service fee, a $79 diagnostic fee, and an $89 an hour labor fee, with the first 30 minutes of labor free. I believed the total service charge to determine what was wrong and whether to fix or replace it would be about $180 or $200. He discovered the capacitor was bad (electric issue) and that all the coolant had leaked out. He said he could check for leaks and I said sure. He found two leaks and I initially told him I needed him to install a new system. After getting other estimates, I told him I was going to have another company do the installation. I asked for the service call bill and it was $447 – the $29 service fee, $79 diagnostic fee, $89 labor fee, and a $250 leak check. I was surprised by the high bill because I was not told that a leak check was an additional $250 and I expected a $45 labor charge since I thought the service call lasted about 60 mins (with first 30 mins free). He said he told me before doing the leak check that it would be $250. If I had been told that, I would have had to decline, because we did not have that money in the budget to spend for diagnosing what was wrong with our system. So please know that if River City Home Services does a leak check it is above the cost of other diagnostic services. Get a complete written estimate before any work begins, and carefully note the start and finish time of the service call. I do not recommend River City Home Services.
