Of all of the many roofers I've been involved with over the years, MDR of Richmond was the one I chose for my personal homes, roof! And they did not disappoint. Coleson, Rafael, and the entire Mighty Dog team responded quickly when a large oak fell on our home. It was an incredibly stressful time for our family, but Coleson and team provided everything that we needed, walked us through the timeline of repairs, and answered all of our questions…even after hours and on weekends. Coleson worked directly with our insurance company to run proposals and numbers on our behalf…he truly took the admin off of us so that we could concentrate on getting through our day-to-day tasks.

Mighty Dog Roofing (Richmond) recently completed a re-coating of our townhouse EPDM flat roof. The process is designed to extend the life of the roof. Kenny came out to fix a few pieces of siding that had come loose due to some wind. He was very professional, prompt, and easy to schedule with. Communication was great when scheduling him to come out to look out at the problem and also for him to do the work. He even texted after the next storm to make sure things were still looking okay.

I had an incredible experience from start to finish with Mighty Dog. Wayne came out to take a look at the water leaks from my second floor ceiling. He immediately identified it was an issue with water getting in from the chimneys which was in alignment with my roof inspection a year prior. A fantastic experience. They repaired my tin roof, inspected prior installation from another roofer, provided a detailed report, and explained the entire process. I reached out for an estimate via their online form for a leaking roof repair causing rain inside our home and received a call back approx 15-20mins later. Appointment was set up quickly and our roof was quickly repaired before another heavy rain. We’ve had a few heavy rains since without any issues and you can’t tell we had a section of our roof repaired. Kenny D. and team were great. Thank you! Highly recommend!

After about 5 months of having the new roof put on I must say I am pretty disappointed. I noticed my drywall bubbling up and very moist a few weeks ago. After having another contractor inspect where the issue was, it came down to the seams in edge of the roof not being sealed. This could have been much worse than it was but thankfully I was able to catch it in time. The cheapest quote is not always the best quote. 2k later, my drywall is fixed and my seams are sealed. I will not be referring anyone to this company again.

Rafael came to check out our roof after an issue with our insurance company. He was on time (early even!), explained everything very well, and ultimately told us we didn’t need any repairs or a replacement. I contacted Mighty Dog Roofing for estimates since some damages to my roof has been observe by myself and different companies who leave letters at my door. They have given me the estimates in a timely manner and set up an appointment to explain to me about their process, materials that they use and other things about my roof and their services. The owner answer some of the questions I have and I also ask about payment options and payment plan. The owner also explain to me some of paper works that I need for my insurance that I did not understand. Took approximately 2 months to get my ducks in a row but once the actual job is set after I picked the color of the shingles, and set the appointment, they finished the roof in 2 days. I am very happy with the outcome of my roof.

I was assured that an inspection could be completed to determine the roof age of my home but once the inspector arrived it was pretty clear that he did not want to complete my request as he continuously urged me to contact the roofing company who replaced the roof even though I already explained that I would be unable to contact them. After the inspection was complete I was told that I’d receive the inspection report later that day but never received it.

To begin with, they honored my request of being texted, not called. Kept me in the loop the whole time with when things were going to be delivered. They showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. They cleaned up very efficiently after themselves and put everything, they moved back in place. They were very easy to work with great prices. Wish I had found them when I was having my house roof redone. I would’ve most certainly gone with this company. Highly recommend.
