Yes sir, Rhino Roofing came through and helped me out and they are very reasonable. I was actually referred to them by a friend of mine and I’m glad I called them. Above and beyond.

Had my roof done in 2020. It was a nightmare, considering they failed to properly seal the transition to the sun room, leaving a hole in the roof that their people made. After lots of back in fourth the roof was redone and hole repaired. Five years later, monsoon season and I've got a leak in the main part of the house. I don't trust their workmanship, roofs should last longer than 5 years.

I am very satisfied with the great job your workers did. I had been looking forward to seeing my roof not leak anymore. When it comes to replacing your roof I highly recommend Rhino Roofing for your roofing needs. It came time to replace my roof as I looked at 3 different contractors to perform the job.
The Rhino representative showed up at my home vary professional, well dressed and extremely courtesy. He took the time to show the difference of each type of shingles they had to offer from good to very good to excellent to included the differences of each shingle and rating while the others only quoting me a comparable shingle to what has been installed for over 25 years.
When it came time to do the work the quality of work performed exceeded my expectations (Prior, During and Completion) of the job. My place was left extremely clean which is a testament of the quality of work they have to offer.
I believe I only found like 5 to 6 nails on the ground which is crazy due to the amount of nails that had to be removed from the old roof. Again thank you Charlie and team for an exceptional job on the replacement of my roof.

Although it took a while to get scheduled, the service was awesome. The speed at which the job was completed was great, and the overall quality of work was excellent.

I was very pleased with my experience with Rhino Roofing. I worked mostly with Dart, who was always prompt in answering any questions, and very prompt in getting a new quote for me it was decided to get a different color roof tile. The roofing crew was able to complete the roof in one day despite a mid-day rain. They also did a great job cleaning up the work site. Highly recommended!

Charlie, and Rhino Roofing were the best. They fixed our roof after a previous roofer (scammer, non licensed) destroyed our roof attempting to install a TPO. Since our roof was damaged and compromised to rain/snow, Charlie gave us an excellent quote and started on our roof immediately. They completed a demolition, installation and clean up of a 4500 Sq Ft house in 5 days. We also used Rhino for a complete Stucco job which was amazing. Our entire experience was outstanding. Then they continue to inform the person to sign a paper to talk with home owners insurance, when it's in fact them signing a contract for this company to do the work your home insurance approves you of HOW DARE YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR SENIORS!!!!!

I used Rhino Roofing to replace 3 roofs on our property. A 2 story main house with car port, a detached 2 car garage, and a standalone single story house.

We had a few bumps along the way during the process, but they worked diligently to correct the minor errors from the install and to ensure everything was completed to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend Rhino Roofing for anyone in New Mexico (or their service area, I'm not sure how large it is!) who is looking for a new roof.

Very good company to work with and took time to review all options, costs and warranty. That was important to me. Our project manager was Lawrence Chavez and he was responsible, attentive, and always available by text or phone to answer questions. The crew was tidy and efficient. The day our roof was finished, our town had some historic rainfall and our house was safe and dry from the storm. Six months later, the roof is still doing well, even with more historic rains and plenty of snow. I highly recommend Rhino Roofing. I would use them again, which is the highest compliment I can give a company.

Lawrence was so good to work with! Answered all my questions, came through on everything. This is a trustworthy company, and they gave best product for best price!

One of the reasons I went with Rhino is because of the stellar reviews. They probably do a great job replacing roofs but I'll never know because it never got that far. I believed the sales person who was 100% certain I qualified for a total replacement. He knew the game the big bad insurers played and he would see to it that my claim would ultimately be approved.

Instead, my claim languished for many months and I was given many reasons for it, which- it appears, had little to do with my insurance carrier.

My advice to those like me who had no experience with this process:

Most roofing companies are not interested in repair jobs. They want to replace your entire roof because there's a greater potential for profit, so it's understandable that the salesperson's goal is to convince you that your roof definitely needs replacing and they won't let the greedy insurer get away with denying your claim.

Don't buy it. Or, I should say, don't buy it for as long as I did. You WANT a roofing company that knows what to do if you truly DO need a new roof and will fight tooth and nail to see it through. But they should be able to do it on a timely basis. If Rhino had actually followed through with my case, I might be sitting under a new roof at this time. Unfortunately, my case languished for reasons I do not know. What I know for sure is I was given every reason under the sun to wait it out, and much of it was contradictory to what I was told earlier by the same person. It took 2 months for my carrier to determine the repair cost, and it was 3 months later I finally gave up on Rhino because I began seeing water damage on my ceiling.

I should've shifted to another company the minute I suspected my case was being neglected. In fact, the salesperson pushed hard for me to sign what amounted to a commitment to stick with them even before the insurance assessment came back, and now I see why. Don't do it. Don't sign it. It's not required. He said he needed it to represent me when talking with the adjuster. In fact, if they press hard for it, consider that the first red flag.

Other red flags to listen for:
After the claim for a full replacement is denied, the Rhino rep says, "I got promoted and now so-and-so has your case."
A month after that, you follow up and he says, "We fired so-and-so because he neglected a big pile of cases, which- unfortunately, yours was a part of."
Another month after that, you follow up yet again and he say, "We gave your file to a 'third party' to take another swing at the insurer."

This review is obviously not for those lucky enough to have gotten past the initial stage of getting insurer approval for a whole new roof. Good for them! Rhino struck gold with those folks and they got a new roof and it was probably good work, too, given the reviews.

But for those of you who are about to jump in, just keep my experience and those red flags in mind as a cautionary tale. That's what I hope this review will do-- nothing more.

Update: It's been a couple of years since I originally posted this, and somehow it was not showing publicly (not sure why) so I'm re-posting. If I notice this happens again, I'll post elsewhere. I feel strongly about making others aware (who maybe are as naive as I was).

Patrick and Gavin and the rest of the crew at Rhino Roofing were great - they assessed the damage, developed a plan, interacted with our insurance and replaced the roof! Ours had a few "complications" that required some extra work, but it was done quickly and the problems were solved! :-)

Ty Strader, a Rhino PM, inspected our 3 month old barn roof after a damaging hailstorm and worked with our insurance adjuster to get the claim filed and estimates where they needed to be. Ty was never a high pressure salesman and was very polite to us and other contractors working on our house for other hail damage. His workers and crew leaders were also very polite and treated our property and possessions with respect and professionalism. The work was done quickly and it looks great. They even upgraded the material when we asked for a different shade of metal that was only available in the higher grade- all with no extra charge. No problems with communications with Rhino. Will recommend to others if asked.

What an incredible experience. Rhino roofing had a project manager assigned to our claim. They took care of all the details with the insurance company. Every encounter was positive and professional. The crew that did the work completely in one day and the yard was left in great condition. The project manager, Pat, followed up the very next day to assess the outcome and if we had any concerns. Very professional and customer service oriented. And a bonus, the rates were extremely competitive. If I having roofing needs in the future I know who I will call.

100% recommend! Mark and Brad were great to work with! Communication was awesome, they assured me that it would be a simple process, given that I have solar panels. They walked me through all the dealings with the insurance and the solar company. The scheduling was hit or miss with monsoon season disrupting the schedule, but Mark got me in as soon as possible. Turned out to be two days after my solar panels were taken off. I was impressed. Day of, they came in like a well oiled machine, they started at 7 am sharp and were completed by 3:30 pm! My neighbors were impressed, we had a neighbor across the street getting their roof done as well by a different company and it took them 3 days. I would absolutely recommend Rhino Roofing. Patrick did an excellent job as the project manager for our roof installation. The quality of the work was top-notch, and Patrick was professional and knowledgeable throughout the process. He was responsive to our questions and kept us informed about the progress.

However, we did feel that there were times when communication could have been smoother. A dedicated project coordinator to handle customer service and help manage the workload might have made the process even more seamless. Overall, we’re happy with the result and appreciate Patrick's hard work, but a bit more support on the coordination front would make this experience perfect.

I cannot say enough positive things about RHINO ROOFING! Within 10 days of calling for an estimate to “fix” my leaking patio roof and check to see if I should reroof the rest of the house — all work was completed. From the first phone call to the final payment process Rhino’s communications were exceptional. Full explanations of options including schedule implications were complete and understandable (is that a word?).

If they took that much care and attention with my project, I can only imagine how responsive they will be when I call back for the whole roof.

Oh - did I mention the work was completed on schedule, excellent construction (recent unexpected heavy rains tested perfectly.)

This company is amazing!!! I was referred by a friend and Charlie came out same day to look at my roof and was honest and so kind! Randy did the work on our roof and he was amazing. Other companies told us a lot of lies and tried to upsell us on everything, but Rhino Roofing did not. I worked with Donnie who got me set up for a new roof. Rhino Roofing got my roof completely done before the August monsoons. The customer service was excellent and the craftsman ship is clean and well done. Also, they did a clean up for debris and trash in my yard. I was worried about my old roof, and this team made my life easier by doing the scheduling and coming to my house for picking out my shingle color and other services. In this day post covid, where many people and companies appear to be only out for themselves, I was so very fortunate to find a company where my sales representative Patrick, Joe, Rhino Roofing and all the installers were so knowledgeable, kind, courteous and really listened to my concerns and acted on them without any judgment or hesitation. I needed a new roof and contacted my rep Patrick who came to my home and did an inspection, met with my insurance adjuster, scheduled my new installation and helped every step of the process. Rhino Roofing is very much behind their product. Small problem during a historic Albuquerque rain this week, Rhino sent out Head Tech , Randy, who sized things up (my guess about the problem completely wrong!) and fixed everything amazingly well.

As consumers we have choices, I had three estimates done and spoke with each company. Each company was knowledgeable and provided an estimate; however, Rhino Roofing stood out, they seemed to go above and beyond to explain every detail and then executed the work as planned.
As with any project, for me, communication is key. Brad and Mark did an outstanding job from start to finish keeping me informed of the status of the project. Anytime I had a question, all it took was one text, or one phone call, they were there. Very helpful, and very professional.

My husband I would like to share our experience today with Lawrence. We are seniors and my husband has medical issues. Today he and I with much difficulty removed a door to his room but we couldn't get it out side because of it's weight. Lawrence (sent by God at just the right time) happened to come by and in a matter of a few minutes took the door outside so we could shorten it because it was causing the oxygen tubbing to his concentrator to break when the door was closed, and brought it back in the house for us. Profesional roof replacement team, Lawrence was easy to work with and communication was great, I love the results. I have a complicated roof on a big Victorian home which they handled no problem. The hail damage situation in the area did mean they had many jobs ahead of mine, which was understandable why it took a few weeks to get on the schedule, I’m glad I went with this company in the end. Don’t work with fly-by-night contractors! Do your research, Rhino has a great reputation for a reason.

I was fortunate to meet Lawrence, he had finished up a job on my block, in my hometown of Las Vegas, NM. He came to our door and asked about possible hail damage to our roof. He offered to check the roof at no cost to us. I agreed & was so happy he dropped by. We definitely had hail damage, he called our insurance company and got us all set up. Had Lawrence check our rental home and sure enough we had hail damage, got that claim set up. He checked our 2nd home in Albuquerque, NM the next day and that also has damage, got that claim set up. Lawrence is a breath of fresh air and a very honest and sincere man. He goes out of his way to help people on his own time. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Lawrence with Rhino Roofing knocked on my door one and asked about a tarp that I had put on the roof. He suggested contacting my homeowners insurance. I had tried to get my homeowners to pay for past repairs without success and I had to pay out of pocket. But I hesitantly call the insurance. He came to meet the adjustor for inspection and he showed her the issues. To my surprise, the insurance paid for a full replacement. The wait time for installment was kind of long but they had the roof replaced quickly. We did a final walk through after completion to ensure I was satisfied with the work. Lawrence was amazing throughthe whole process. He responded quickly to my concerns. All in all,ĺp the whole Rhino Roofing team was amazing. I highly recommend hiring them.

I would like to take some time to write you a Thank You letter to express my gratitude toward your employees of Rhino Roofing. Specifically, Joe, Kevin and Randy. Their professionalism, pride and dedication to serve their employer and their community is beyond words. We specifically dealt with Joe initially, and throughout the whole process he was very cordial and kind, and its apparent that he takes pride in his job and working for Rhine Roofing. Kevin spent some time reviewing quotes and throughout the whole process he was transparent about costs, how insurance would be handled in our situation, and he also shared the same pleasure in representing the company he works for as Joe. Randy was the person doing the work and spent late Friday night making sure my mom had a roof without leaks and felt valued throughout the whole experience. The bottom-line is your employee’s kindness and dedication to service in our situation was honorable. They always put us first and made sure we had all our questions answered. We never once felt like this was a business looking to take our money. These gentlemen and Jolyn are great! They were very professional and efficient and went out of their way to explain everything to me as it was the first time I had to handle roof replacement. The pricing was reasonable for the task. I would highly recommend Rhino Roofing.

What a godsend! I had a foam roof with gravel that started to leak after 20 years. The insurance claim inspector told me it was hail damage. The insurance company told me they would not cover it because it was too old. I then started to get quotes for doing the work. I got bids from 5 roofing contractors. They ranged from $28,000 - $70,000. The lower amounts were to just patch and fix the whole roof with no warranty. I was really stressed over the cost. My in-laws had a great experience with Rhino Roofing. So, I called Mark to get a 6th quote. He checked my roof and told me that it had hail damage for years. He then told me that we are going to call the insurance company and make a claim. I told him about their refusal to accept it. He politely insisted that we give it a shot. The only agreement I made in writing at this point was if the insurance company accepts the claim I will let them do the work. So, Mark helped me make a claim and referenced a bad hail storm we had a couple of months prior. They once again sent out an insurance claim inspector. Mark and his coworker Brad showed the inspector details and evidence of the hail damage all over my roof. The claims inspector agreed with the obvious signs of hail damage. Mark negotiated a full replacement price with the insurance representative to fully repair the roof. The job involved removing all the gravel, then with a special machine they shaved about an inch or two of foam off the entire roof, repaired all the trouble spots, re-foamed what they removed, and applied pure very high quality silicon to the entire roof. It's been 5 months without leaks. My cost at the end was $500.00 for the insurance deductible, 5 year warranty, 20 years on silicon. Rhino Roofing gave me a roof that the higher quotes were based on. Excellent considerate service best contractor I have ever met. Thank you so much Mark and Brad. Bonus comment because the gravel is not on my roof and the silicon is white reflecting sun. I've noticed a savings in cooling and heating compared to the old roof.

First of all, this is not a review of the company but rather one of their employees, Lawrence. My husband and I were driving home to Rancho Cucamonga, California on 25S in New Mexico on Tuesday, Jan 16, 2024 when he alerted us that there was something wrong with one of the tires on the trailer that we were pulling. To make a long story short, if he didn't take his time to stop us and even offer to come back and help us if we had any more problems, we would have been in a very bad and dangerous situation. He was our angel watching over us on that trip. We cannot thank him enough. They found a great solution that cost much less than replacing my TPO. It's guaranteed for twenty years, and it got installed within a few weeks.

Rhino Roofing was prompt to answer our call and get out to see our roof after a leak from a poorly handled changeover forced water into the seams of our PVC-flat roof near the exit canali. Another 2 vendors tried to sell us a completely new roof, suggesting hail damage. The insurance company said no, and Rhino Roofing said the same thing - just a repair job. They did a wonderful job sealing the entire affected area, all the canalis, etc. They were quick to schedule us and it took just a couple of hours.

Excellent result, excellent service, for far less than a new roof.

Had roof damage summer time. Mark and Randy came out quickly to inspect and provide best quote. Because no rain forecasted for weeks, we did not know if leak resolved. They said they would return after rain. There were several cement tiles that were damaged that they fixed. We finally had rain, still had a leak. They came back and found the problem. The undersurface had small puncture. Did not charge. Positive and professional. They cleaned up all the broken tiles and loose nails. The roof looks great!!!

Randy is the best! I have done several transactions with him and he is always so professional and communicates through the whole process. The front desk gals always have an amazing attitude and ready to help when I need them. Brad is always trustworthy and gets me answers right away when I need them. Rhino Roofing is great! They di an excellent job redoing our yesterday. They were here first thing in the morning. The crew of guys were very hard working. They did a great job covering all around the house with tarps to help with catching the old roof and did excellent clean up when finished. Wind blew shingles off of my house so I called Rhino since they did my neighbors roof. Kevin came out and he was amazing. He did a free inspection. Pulled his ladder out, climbed up our VERY STEEP roof, took pictures, tarped over damaged areas, showed me how to file a claim. Claim was approved by adjuster only a week later, I was on the schedule and completed within two weeks. Such a great experience.

I’m really impressed with the professionalism and quality of work from this company. Their philosophy is to do it right the first time so they don’t ever have to come back, and that’s exactly what I’ve seen from their work. They also did a good job of cleaning up the mess from removing the old roof. I’ve found very few nails after they finished (they even came back after done to search for more nails). They also helped with the insurance company all along the process of getting my roof replaced due to hail damage.
