RENCO Roofing

We purchased a home that had an existing Renco warranty. We contacted them due to an issue with a small water accumulation on the front ledge of our flat roof. The guy that came out was great ... he went right up to the roof, saw the issue, and talked to me about the shape of the roof as a whole. I was told a few days later that the issue with our roof is not under warranty because it involves the fascia being improperly installed. To them, the fascia and the roof are two different issues. To me, it was an excuse not fix the problem. I called another roofing company who came out and fixed the issue in less than two hours. Unfortunately, I had to pay for it but at least it got fixed. Renco is a big company and they act like it. Very disappointed in my experience with them.

We recently had one of the employees from Renco Roofing stop at our house because we had our new roof approved by our HOA and put on about 5 months earlier. He wanted to know what tile was approved because he couldn't get the tile he wanted to use on another house in our neighborhood approved. He told my husband don't worry I won't "out you", because he told him that that tile was turned down to his company. But he DID "out us" and now we are getting a call from our roofing company wanting to see the approval letter sent to us. I would think twice about working with this company. As they treat a kindness with hassle for us! What a shame it is in society these days that a kindness that didn't have to be extended is now a major hassle for us. Seriously? Guess we won't be extending kindness to random requests anymore. Don't work with these people!

Renco has done work for us before. We used them because they offer great service and the installers did a great job. They left the work site cleaned up and asked if we were satisfied before they left. Then a team followed up to inspect the roof and to be sure our site was cleaned up. Their prices are reasonable and there were no problems. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing roof services.

Renco has been my roofing service for over five years. Every year they come out and do a good inspection to make sure everything‘s great. Recently, I had my roof recoated. It was done in a timely fashion. The service was excellent, which even included clean up of the yard afterward. Overall, I couldn’t be happier.

The workers at Renco are very professional and friendly. They answered questions I had about things I was curious about. I enjoyed watching them work on our roof from a a distance. Cleaned up and weren't disruptive to my working at home. Id recommend them .

They were hired to do roofing work by my rental agency and turned off the A/C to my condo and didn’t bother to turn it back on before they left. Luckily it was a quick and easy fix by another vendor but extremely inconsiderate on their part, especially in the middle of August in Phoenix.

After calling for a quote, Trey stopped out to inspect the roof and provide a proposal right then and there (unlike other companies who I had to wait several days to hear back from with a quote, if at all). When it came time to accept the quote, he visited once more to ensure I was well-informed about the process (of the roof construction itself and payment plan). The price itself was not the cheapest, nor most expensive - but somewhere right in the middle. I never knew much about the make-up of a foam roof, but he was happy to explain the layers of materials and best way to maintain it going forward.

Trey noticed things about the previous patch work that had been done (by the previous homeowner) that explained the leaking issues I had run into - he took the time to explain the root of the issue, something the other companies did not do. He also pointed out some electrical issues that he insisted I should have checked out before the roof got done - sure enough, after having a few electricians by for quotes - it was clear there were some serious code issues that I would've otherwise not known about. RENCO coordinated with my electrician to handle the logistics.

Most importantly, the date I was given for the work to be complete was the date they showed up and got it done. I wasn't left hanging wondering if/when they'd show up - they kept their word. They covered furniture and vehicles that may have otherwise gotten debris and dust blown on them.

They do things the "right" way, with the customer in mind. I would hire them back again and recommend RENCO to anyone in need of roofing services.

I chose Renco Roofing to replace my roof in 2016 because the rep was the only one of several companies I sought a quote that came to my home, inspected the roof, and noticed that the roof suffered from hail damage. The rep advised me to contact my Insurance Co. and my Insurance Co. paid the claim on the damage. The roof was shingled and the extended porch was covered in foam, front and back. The foam was just resealed (June 2024) and the work is excellent. Highly recommend this family run business.

Very polite and professional. Most impressed by the quick response when I called to ask them to move out of my driveway so I could leave for work. I live in a tight apartment complex, so they had to park in front of my garage to complete the work. The lady working on the phone was very diligent to call the teams and ask them to move. Update 1/15: dear Renco, please confirm your information before replying as my balance was met and paid in full. I have those details and happy to get a call from you to collect that confirmation. Also, while you say you contact to access roofs, I called you when you sent the final invoices 2 years after the fact that no one bothered to call to access my roof. Your member said they would call me back and once again never did.

Do not bother to use Renco, they will charge you the remaining amount of your invoice two years after the fact stating that they completed a quality check when they haven’t. Be careful about them as they try to go to your house and access your roof without permission. They also do not follow up with you as they commit to do. Poor service.

Great company! Prompt estimate and scheduling. The work was done on time in a neat and professional manner. When the job was done they cleaned up after themselves. I had a small problem and they showed up and corrected the very next day. Highly recommended.

3 Months ago I had a new roof put on due to my attached neighbor needing one. I never had a problem with my roof but was told if I didn't get mine done too it would cause problems when it rained. So I agreed to it. First rain we (July 26th) had my roof leaked so badly that I had standing water in my house. They did a patch job (not sure that will work) and I have asked numerous times for a report on what repairs they did. Never received one. The roofing job was to prevent exactly what did happen. I never had a roofing problem before this. I'm out the money and will probably require a new roof!

Very professional work crew. Explain exactly what they’re going to do, showed up when they said they would, I left the place spotless. We will use them again.

The entire process ran quite smoothly! They were great when working with our HOA to match the color of our existing roof. Clean up was done daily, so I had no issues with my three small dogs. Follow up after the work was done with a final inspection as well as final review for clean up. Warranty sold us as well.

Sloppy contractor. Did work on unit next to me (hired by HOA) & oversprayed orange foam roof spray onto my unit party wall, plus some on my NEW roof AC unit. Damage to my unit & never repaired!! Renco caused this & I am horrified they have not corrected their overspray.
UPDATE; RENCO repainted structure damage, but the AC overspray is not able to be removed without scraping unit. Revised stars since company was responsive after HOA involvement. Renco did repaint exterior and I will revise rating after my fall reroofing job

I contacted this company for a quote. Scheduled an appointment for 10:30am on a Wednesday. Joe contacted me on Tuesday at 5:00pm to confirm the appointment at said time. Come Wednesday at 9:23 am Joe calls telling me he can be at the property between 9:30 to 9:45 am because he is running early. My problem, I don't live at the property 2) I don't want the tenants disturbed. We confirmed the appointment at 10:30am for a reason the previous evening. When I showed up to the property by 10:00am, Joe is quick to tell me he kept knocking on the door to no avail, gave me a quick verbal plan for the roof, told me I would get a written quote and off he went.
Not sure this company is able to follow instructions. From my experience with Joe, I gather they do what is convenient for them no regard for detail. Not sure I will be doing business with this company based on my first impression.

Fantastic work by Renco! Customer service is first rate and they always go above and beyond. Very friendly and down-to-earth people. I've used them for about 15 years on various jobs and repairs. Pricing is more than fair, and quality of work is top notch.

I have had Renco Roofing do my roof repairs for many years. Renco was always prompt to return my calls. When the roof got older, I had them put a new roof on. They have always been great to work with! My property was left clean when they finished. The roofers were very respectful.

Had an on-site quote for a full roof replacement. Sales rep said he would email me a quote. Quote never came. I called sales rep and spoke with him live once and left a voice mail once requesting the quote. Still no response and no white form the sales rep. Called the office to request the quote. They promised to reach out to rep and ensured I would receive the quote. No one ever called or sent the information. Unacceptable. Plenty of great companies out there but clearly no this one. Pass on this one for poor customer service and lack of response.

I used Renco on a prior home a few years back and had a good experience so used them again when we had storm damage this fall. They do a greta job and are very professional. The process was smooth and when the workers finished they pointed out what they had done. A few days later I got a call and they came back to inspect it as part of their quality control process. So impressive! I've had other contractors recently that we have had issues with that could have been prevented by following the type of process Renco uses. Keep up the great work guys!

I live in an apartment. Renco was redoing roof and removed my satilite dish. No cable all day with no warning this was going to happen! Was reinstalled while I was gone, got home to see only a few channels! A guy from Renco came and tried adjusting the dish, unfortunately I got no call telling me he was coming so when I got home It was worse!! Had NO channels! He did come back next day tried to adjust but had no luck!!! I sit FIVE DAYS WITHOUT SATILITE!!! BEFORE DIRECT COULD COME!!! MIGHT NOT WANT TO MESS WITH SOMETHING YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!! MAYBE TAKE A PICTURE OF DISH SO YOU GUYS CAN MAYBE PUT IT BACK IN SAME SPOT!!! AS FAR AS THERE ROOFING! THEY CAME BACK FEW DAYS AGO AND PUT COATING ON! ALL OVER SIDEWALKS FROM DRIPS!!

RENCO has taken care of my roof since 2010 when they stripped it & put on a new roof, they also reseal it for me every 5 years. I have a small section of tile that they installed new underlayment. I have recommended them to my friends and clients since 2010 & continue to do so. The are clean, professional & do a great job. I've never had a leak.

If I could give negative stars I would. I am appalled that this company is in business. My condo association chose Renco to reroof our buildings. The roof was replaced in February and when it rained the 23rd, it rained in my house in multiple places. Needless to say, there was extensive damage that the Renco rep tried to deny was their fault. Fast forawrd to now and my roof is still not completed. When I call Renco, I am told it will be done this week... 2 weeks ago. Today I was told it will be today. It really is despicable to get a run around like this especially when the leak stems from their shotty work. Do your homework prior to using Renco.

The Sales person told repairman wrong materials for repair this past Monday. Roofer said he'd call & would back Monday pm or today Tuesday with correct materials. Did not call or show up. Has ignored my text & phone call. Remodel of upstairs bathroom on hold until roof repaired. Waited over a month to get a date for repairs & salesman ignored my request for a date. They have a contract with our Association & obligated to use them. Have recommended to Association that they find another Roofer. I could overlook the delays if they had the decency & professionalism to return my calld.

Over the six years we have owned this home, Renco has met all our needs: foam recoating, skylights, reinstallation of underlayment and tile. We have high regard for the entire crew.

The team that came out to replace our roof, and re-seal our flat roof were great. They pulled all the tiles and underlayment, put down new felt underlayment and replaced the tiles in about 4 hr. total. They did a fantastic job of cleaning up all the nails and trash around the house. The second team that came out for the flat roof were just as professional. And even picked up a few things the first group missed. The only negative thing I could think of, is Renco should have someone on each of there teams that speak English. I had a question and had to call the office to get the answer. Great job would recommend Renco for your roof repair.

Having a new roof installed is a major task & financial investment. For me, having trust & confidence in a company & its staff is a vital part of the decision-making process. I just had a new foam roof installed by Renco Roofing – my 1st experience with a foam roof/flat roof. Every step of the process was handled by the responsible Renco Roofing staff in a professional, knowledgeable & thorough manner to ensure that the installation was a high-quality job done reliably in a timely and efficient manner. All the staff had excellent communication skills – providing information, understanding, and responding to my concerns and questions.
Jeff the project manager made sure I understood what the current condition of my existing roof was, what specifically would be done to install a foam roof including rebuilding problematic scuppers, and what the various options were. He provided the diverse range of information clearly in a language I could understand with the detail I needed to make decisions that I was happy and confident about taking.
Chris who supervised the demolition/removal of the old roof and installed the new roof & 1st coating was exceptionally dedicated to ensuring that the work was done skillfully at a high level of quality by all the team workers. Chris kept me informed as the work progressed and even returned on the weekend to complete a small part of the work remaining to make sure that I was not concerned about it. The job process was efficient, careful, and respectful of my property - the surrounding area was cleaned thoroughly and all debris immediately removed. Dillion who did the 2nd and final coat answered my questions and informed me of the work when completed.
For quality control, Renco Roofing sends a separate staff member to inspect the job several weeks after completion – this step done by Flint gave me an extra level of confidence in the work.
At each step in the process – from the initial inspection of my existing roof and proposal for replacement thru the final quality control inspection – the Renco Roofing staff displayed their expertise in a knowledgeable and informative manner giving me the confidence that I have a professional high quality long-lasting new foam roof to protect my home. I look forward to having Renco Roofing rebuild my upper walk terrace later in the year – I am sure I will be just as happy with the work and end result.

The work was a roof replacement at our residence. The initial job walkdown was with MIck of RENCO. He was professional, knowledgeable and available for follow up questions even after the work initiated. The scope included both foam application and tile replacement. I was not present for the foam application, but I was present for the tile work. Jose is the production manager. He was available for phone calls and face-to-face at our house during the course of the work. He is very professional and answered all my questions just prior to and during the work. I came to understand that his father, Polo, was the senior member of the work crew. I spoke with him daily during the course of the work. He was very professional, and the crew did a quality job. The work was completed in a timely manner. RENCO gets my recommendation.

I had to cancel my appointment due to a conflict but they were easy to deal with and responsive. I will consider using them when my schedule opens back up.

***update*** Once again, excellent work by Renco. You may see their billboards all over the valley, but just know this is a family-run business. They are clearly passionate about their customers and providing top service. Thank you to Trey, your crew - especially Raymond who was outstanding - and the kind folks who answer your phones!

We just needed our flat roof re-coated, but they were so efficient and professional - from the initial quote with Brandon, to the completed job - they deserve a shout out. We will use them again for a new roof for our guest house.

This company did a great job on my roof as well as they were the only ones willing to help after the rain storms in October, 2018. All other companies apologetically told me they could get to my roof in May of 2019. Renco got it completed in January 2019. These guys are excellent.
