I was recommended Patterson roofing and I’m glad I was. I reached out to William explaining to him that my flat roof kept leaking every time it rained after another big known company had recoated it. He was able to come out the next day and take a look at it and walked me through in detail exactly what was wrong with my current roof and course of action without “selling” me anything leaving it all up to me. Which is amazing having the owner come out himself and take a look at your roof compared to a salesperson. The price was very reasonable I had 3 other bids and Patterson roofing was the best William told me exactly what I wanted to hear! He was able to schedule me in to get my new roof in a couple days and the crew did an AMAZING job they were very fast but doing everything with detail and they cleaned everything up leaving no mess at all you wouldn’t even know they were here! Patterson Roofing replaced my roof and it looks great! Will took me through the process answering my questions along the way, not just on the phone but in person too , by making sure I’m comfortable with the color and the workmanship. Most companies just leave when the job is completed.

The crew who did the work had the roof finished in three days. If you are anything like me, choosing a company to replace your roof is an overwhelmingly big decision. Not only is it a big financial investment, there are also so many choices out there, both in terms of which roofing company to go with as well as in types of roofing to choose from. I sincerely mean this when I say that Patterson Roofing helped make those decisions easy for me. They were extremely prompt in providing an estimate as well as with all communications along the way. Mr. Patterson also seems to have a sheer endless amount of patience for all of the questions I sent his way and thoughtfully answered each and every one of them to help me make decisions. Compared to other roofing companies I had received quotes from, their recommendations in regards to which roofing material to use showed me they were taking the specifics of my roofing needs into consideration and not using a cookie-cutter approach. And yet their quote was extremely competitive. When it came time to install my roof, the team was incredibly hard-working and respectful of the property, trying very hard to minimize trash and damage to the surrounding area. The end result looks amazing and I can already tell the difference it is making in regards to insulation. I am hoping to not need another roofing company for a while, but if I do, I will certainly chose Patterson Roofing again.

I recently had the flat roof on my home, originally built in the 1940's with a few generations of intervening roof work, replaced by Patterson Roofing. It was a large and complicated project that required careful planning and execution. The owner, William Patterson, scoped out the project, planned for the variations that existed across the different parts of the house, and executed ahead of schedule. His crew seemed to be specialized to the tasks that were needed including demo, cleaning, repairing, foaming and final coats application. They worked together seamlessly. William was present with the crew early the first morning to direct the team as well as explain the process and answer my questions. He remained available through efficient use of text to answer my questions and keep me informed. At the end of each workday, the crew cleaned up areas around the house (actually left it cleaner than it was found). Patterson Roofing was an honest and skilled business partner for my roof project.

I have never had to get a roof replaced before so I don’t have a lot of experience. However I had a couple people come out and really did not care for their approach. When I met William he spent the time to answer my questions, gave me information I didn’t know I needed, and told me the expectations of the material and the process. The guys cleaned up every day after working which was a very nice touch. Would highly recommend.

I recently had my 31-year-old tile roof underlayment replaced by Patterson Roofing, and I have nothing but great things to say about the owner, William and the work that his crew completed. William arrived on time for the estimate and then met me when I was able to come out to Arizona to go over the plan with me before work began. He took care of removing the solar panels so I didn’t have to find a separate subcontractor, which saved me an enormous amount of time and anxiety. He quickly provided me three estimates of different quality roofs, and he started work the day he said he would and it is completed a day early than estimated. It looks spotless around my property- like it didn’t even happen! He sent photos along the way of the progress as I am not in town. He is professional, honest and has an excellent crew that gets the job done. if I could give him six stars I would!

The owner, William was like a good neighbor. He listened and responded to what we wanted. All of the cost to replace the roof underlayment and the predicted broken tiles were covered in the quote. Experienced team came in and unloaded the Friday prior, all of the product, stacked neatly on the roof and began the process of roof replacement the following week. Took five days as planned. An added request we made, to follow Homeowner Associating rules was: We needed the drip edge and bird stops around the perimeter, to match the color code. No problem. These adjustments were met with resolution and completion. This company is willing to add a few extra steps to satisfy us and Home Owner Association architectural "rules". I had an installation company at my house at 7:30 this morning and they asked me what time my roofer would be here to cut and flash the 3” hole for the pipe to come out… I called 28 roofing companies and only two would be able to come out with three hours notice. William answered my call right away and got back to me quickly. We negotiated a fair price for my urgent request and Saul came out to my house and completed the project. I have used Patterson Roofing twice in the last 2 years. The first job was for entire roof underlayment/water damage repair. The second job was patio repair. Starting from the initial inspection to the completion of the work and clean up was very professional. Competitive pricing! The workers were HIGHLY skilled and very professional as well. Made it very easy! I would most definitely recommend this family owned business for roofing needs and already have to 3 friends. Mr. Patterson should be one to consider if you need it done right for a reasonable price.

Patterson fully re-roofed my house 5 years ago. Last month, part of the roof fell apart in strong winds. I asked them for a repair and the cost. After asking me several questions, to which I replied, they ghosted me completely. Now I have to find a better company and pay hundreds to fix the shoddy work that they don't stand by.

UPDATE in response to business owner's comment. I replied to your last email on Feb. 17, 2023. You ignored it, and I followed up on Feb. 21 and Mar. 8 by email, no reply from you, and it didn't bounce back, so you did indeed receive a message from me. I'm glad to furnish copies as proof. But now you give me a phone number that you didn't answer and cannot accept voicemails because "the mailbox is full." I affirm that I do not recommend this business.

I cannot think these guys enough for helping me out with what I need it last minute a storm hit my roof and took down 20 tiles and they were so efficient and so fast so organized I am so happy to use them And I will continue to use them in the future best roof company ever

I really liked how professional this company was. I had gotten 2 other quotes and Patterson roofing came in significantly cheaper than either one with complete honesty on what needed to be done. The end result was a job well done for a great price.

From start to finish, Patterson Roofing did a great job. Fair and complete quote, finished the job at the time they said they would be done and installed very well. They did a great job with clean up also. I would refer them to anyone.

My roof leaked in the strangest spot, Will came out and gave an very fair est. for the repair, it did end up being slightly more but only because the repair ended up being larger. But it needed to be done because the previous owners roof replacement was done wrong and cut corners and obviously ran off the with claim money. They inspected the rest of the roof and at this time everything seems good, Will and his team made it right. They scheduled me in during the busiest week ever and were on time, clean, friendly and got the job done efficiently and quickly. They are a trusted team not only from what I experienced, but lol the neighbor grandma gave them lunch that day. I just found that out. I highly recommend Patterson Roofing, they are in my address book for when I need a new roof. I fully support locally family owned businesses, they are my first go to for everything.

I had a 12,000 square foot re-roof job done at my Paradise Valley home by Patterson and it was mired in trouble from the beginning. Delays, horrible communication, and the worst part was that the workmanship and finish were very bad. We also had workers showing up at random times in the evenings without notice walking on our roof which made us concerned. Owner offered (in writing mind you) to fix the poor quality finishes to only backtrack because I wouldn't remove my online reviews (have that in writing too). Professionalism and integrity lacking here. We regret choosing Patterson roofing. Now we need to pay another firm to fix his mistakes. But if we do, they won't honor the 15 year warranty we paid for. Buyer beware!

Took care of my roof leak in a timely manner, priced right and great to work with. Would reccomend to anyone looking for roof work that needs to be done on their home.

I hired this company to replace a small 15x15 foot walk deck in December 2017. The project didn’t get completed until two month later. After completion it was obvious after the first rainfall that the slope of the floor was off and redirecting the water away from the drain causing dozens of gallons of standing water. . Keep in mind that this was never the original problem. At this point it became hard to get a hold of anyone in the company. Finally I got William to return my call. His reply to the problem was that standing water on my walk deck ( living space) was acceptable to code as long as it evaporated within a few days. That was not the case here, this water was planning on sitting here for weeks. I played by his rules and watched the water sit and sit and sit. I reached out to him a week later, finally he suggested a solution which was to cut a half inch ditch from a 3x8 foot space out of the floor to redirect the water. This part I don’t get because part of the original repare was to remove the old subfloor and replace it with new ply board but I thought oh well I’m sure they know what they are doing. Weeks later the crew showed up to work on the repair. They worked for a day or two then mysteriously abandoned the project. I waited about two weeks before I had to call the company and ask why they left the project exposed and abandoned. Several weeks went by before they would return and finally complete the repair. 6 months later when they finally “finish”and the final result looks awful... the epoxy was left with over a dozen 2 inch bubbles in the area of their patch up repair and the ditch they carved makes the area on the walk deck a tripping hazard. And guess what, The deck still holds water. I swore I would never do business with this company again or even want to deal with them until now. Last week with all the rainfall I have noticed my new walk deck by Patterson Roofing was leaking. The water has now entered my house and has caused damage all down my dining room wall. Now I’m left to repaint and deal with potential mold. I called and left a message for William four days ago and still have not gotten a call back. I feel like they have taken advantage of my patients and tolerance. I expect a call back and want the work redone. This is the last chance I give Patterson Roofing before it escalate this to the next level.

I needed to have the flat part of my roof recoated and I have a small section of my roof that has tiles that also needed to be done. I obtained 6 quotes. I chose Patterson, who was not the least expensive nor the highest, however, the owner, William Patterson, was very knowledgeable, took pictures as well as getting on the roof with me to explain problem areas and how they would address them to repair before the recoat. The team for both the tile section and the flat recoat showed up on time and were very professional and friendly. They took precaution to avoid overspray and cleaned up nicely after the job. Once the job was complete William Patterson got on the roof with me again to take a look at the repairs and the complete job. It looks great and I feel assured that my roof is all set for the next 5 years when a recoat will be needed. At that time I will hire Patterson Roofing again. Great job!! Thank you William!!!

Above and beyond! After fixing the leak by the eave, they also painted the underside. Owner also personally came back and took care of a minor detail that was missed by his nice crew. I would suggest to call them first for any roofing needs.
