This review covers the replacement of the underlayment on my tile roof by CDL Roofing, Inc. including 90 board-ft of facia and numerous tiles. CDL offered competitive pricing when comparing apples to apples to other roofers’ quotes. Some roofers quote a base price for most replacement items and an adder cost for items discovered during the repair: plywood, facia, broken tiles, re-painting, etc. CDL provided me an all inclusive quote for the basic services with facia, plywood, bird block, drip edge and tile replacement included so I had a not to exceed price. I appreciated that because I knew without a doubt what the cost would be. With the other quotes I had to guess what the bottom line cost would turn out to be. CDL Roofing covered all patio surfaces and air conditioners with tarps or plywood to avoid any damage from falling debris during the repair and cleaned up all walkway areas daily. Their use of premium materials all around was a big plus. Particular attention was paid by the roofers to the new flashing installed including caulking and painting to match the tile and house. They promised completion in seven days which was achieved including starting on-time. Their 4-5 man crew was courteous and professional and aimed to please me with any requests I made. Charles Barr, owner, provided daily supervision of the crew along with frequent visits by David Bowers (Sales) who first approached me while performing roofing jobs in the neighborhood. After completion not only does the roof and facia look good but I know what’s underneath was installed properly. Charles anticipated that several sheets of plywood over the patio would require replacement but after pulling up the old roofing he discovered it was not required and offered a credit towards our final price which was very much appreciated. As you can guess we were very happy with our roof replacement by CDL Roofing and we highly recommend using them.

I had CDL Roofing out last month to replace the underlayment on my tile roof in Legend Trail in North Scottsdale. They did a great job. Charles and Bobby explained everything to me about what needed to be done and then did it. They took extra care to make sure nothing got in my pool and everything was cleaned up after they were done.

CDL roofers provided skilled, professional, and excellent service. Constant updates and communication from the owner Charles, and the foreman. They worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up everything. Our new roof looks wonderful. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing any type of roofing work.
