This place is a combination of two hotels combined into one. The main building looks ok, however, I was in a separate building that was fairly run down. Older rooms and doors that need to be pulled shut rather than just closing like most hotels. Bathroom could really use an update.

I have stayed here a few times for work. They have been remodeling here for the last few months. I believe Most people only post on the negative. Check it out yourself, but keep in mind it's Quality inn not the Ritz. I travel for work and am in hotels 280 nights a year, this hotel is fine. And as for the people at the counter I have never had any issues.

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever had! I booked 6 months in advance through a third party but prior to booking I called quality inn number with questions in regards to not having an option to accommodate a 5 person family. They assured me it would be ok just to book and call the front desk of this location to inform them we were a family of 5 (2 adults 3 children) and request a rollaway bed. I did as such and gave my confirmation number. Fast forward 6 months later I called the day before leaving and informed the location our flight had changed and we wouldn’t be in until the late morning and asked if it could be ready with the roll in bed the front desk lady said it’d be an extra $30 a night naturally I was stunned as this was not disclosed to me 6 months ago when I paid in full. The next day before boarding the plane I again called to ensure the bed was ready. She said it was already in the room and then asked the ages of the kids my oldest is 17. She said it’d be another extra 30 a night on top of the $30 a night for the extra bed for my 17 year old. So now we’re at an extra $60 a night for an extended period of 6 days. I couldn’t believe this and explained this was not discussed when I contacted the local location nor the main number for the company. The lady put me on hold them came back saying the rooms were not suitable for 5 people as it was a fire hazard but they’d do it for $500 per night!! At this point I’m crazy upset and in panic. I reached out to a family member in the area (because it’s my hometown) and they said they’d let my oldest child stay at their home so we could stay at four people in the room. I told them to just keep the rollaway in there we would pay for it (I was tired of fighting) and figured I’d let my other children have separate bed .She kept emphasizing that I would have to pay the extra $500 plus the extra $60 a night if they saw my 17yr old daughter sleep there I said ok that’s fine she’s sleeping at a family members house. Because of this I asked if it was ok for other my child to at least visit us in the hotel during the day. They denied that request saying we could have no visitors at any hour. During this back and forth I tried to stay as calm as possible. I was at the airport so of course I wouldn’t yell or cuss but I did let them know I was very upset about this situation but to just keep the reservation and hung up. Two minutes later they called back this time it was a different lady speaking to me telling me to cancel my reservation now in a harsh tone. I then contacted the town and county motor inn they were happy to accommodate and the price was the same as what I was supposed to originally pay at this place. Save yourself the trouble and just book at the town and country the people are lovely and it’s a wonderful family owned establishment . Not only did quality inn try up charging me constantly they were also extremely rude and unprofessional in their tone to me. Luckily i booked through a third party and was awarded my refund without an issue.

Booked for 2 nights. In a separate building from desk clerk and outside door does not close, never mind locking and needing a key to get access to rooms. The first room showed had not been cleaned in awhile. Obvious dust and lint on rug. Went to desk clerk and she sent coworker up. Pointed out dust, last resident’s hat on chair. She agreed it needed to be cleaned. Next stop was room next door. Skylights had been removed, plywood put over with obvious water damage. No other windows made it seem like we were in basement. Toilet wouldn’t flush. Had to stay the first night due to not having a place to go. Left the next day and were told we would not get a refund for the next night. Guess they have a problem renting out rooms? Wonder why… Oh, by the way, there is an extra charge even though if you prepay and your receipt says paid in full, you have to pay. Do not waste your money. Worst part was we were on vacation for 14 days… had to carry up our luggage 2 flights of stairs. If this is a representation of quality inn, major problems. Did not have a problem with hotels other than this one.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und dafür ist das Quality Inn definitiv geeignet. Zu einem recht fairen Preis bekommt man ein ordentliches Zimmer im guter Größe mit einem sauberen Bad.
Ein kleines Frühstück gab es ebenfalls.
Den angebotenen Pool haben wir nicht benutzt.
Ich würde hier wieder nächtigen, wenn ich in der Nähe wäre.

If I could leave no stars I would. Dirty floors, unwashed and bloody bedding, furniture is PEELING and curling from humidity damage. Terrible and rude service. The room has a dirty smell that made me nauseas for a couple of days.. the carpet is sticky... would not recommend if you're looking for a refreshing get away. Way over priced for what you get..

Absolutely disgusting and overpriced. I originally paid $290 for a room with a porch on the second floor, for two nights. The hotel was listed as pet friendly, so I had my dog with me. When I arrived, I was informed that I had to “upgrade” to a pet friendly room for an additional $100. Don’t call your hotel pet friendly if you just have “pet friendly” rooms. I understand pet fees and don’t have an issue with them, but I shouldn’t have to change my reservation entirely. The room clearly hadn’t been cleaned; the floor was filthy, the lamps didn’t work, the windows and mirrors were dirty, the shower had hair, and there were ants in the bathroom. The large picture on the wall was hanging upsidedown, which really doesn’t matter, but it just shows the lack of attention to detail and laziness of the hotel as a whole. That night, people were screaming and running down the hallways until 4am. Next morning, we went to the complimentary breakfast, which turned out to be a waffle machine and a few bananas. I took my dog into the designated potty area and it was filled with cigarette butts, trash, and a few condoms.

I’ve stayed at hotels in Conway and Jackson for half the price that were amazingly maintained and had many atttactions around them. How do you justify charging almost $400 for two nights at a disgusting place in a subpar location? I usually try to save on hotels so I thought I was getting something better for what I paid, but it turned out to be a huge waste of money. Nothing quality about the quality inn; avoid at all costs.

First room we had didn't have the toliet seat attached to the toliet. Second room (after asking for new room) had a toliet seat attached but it looked like it was set on fire at some point. The back door lock was nearly impossible to unlock. Ants on bathroom floor. Shower that would not drain. No internet except in lobby. VERY dirty hot tub with pubic hairs floating in mass. And the fitness center and basketball courts advertised are permanently closed. Was so happy to leave this place. Worst hotel experience I've ever had.

My experience started out well until I woke up in the middle of night, I realized I didn't have a plug for in the wall from my cell phone, so I went to the office to find out, see if they had won, well, I forgot my room key to my cell phone in my room, I get to the front desk, and there's nobody there piece of paper on the cage, it said, call this number. If you need any help, so Luckily I have my car key in my car, so I got my card, I went down to the local gas station called the number twice, no answer. So then I went back and waited up front of the hotel. And had to fall asleep in my car for 4 hours until somebody got in to let me in my room first hotel that I've ever stayed at that somebody wasn't there all night long.

We had a very unpleasant stay. We started off with additional “destination fees” that when questioned we were told “oh they aren’t included online”. The wall in our room was peeling exposing mold behind it, along with the face of the dressers peeling. The outlet the fridge was plugged into was very loose; the fridge was working fine the night before- we filled it with a good amount of (expensive) food, and by the morning the plug had loosened in the outlet, causing the fridge to turn off and all of our food was spoiled. The fridge worked fine if we held the plug in the outlet, but this is also a fire hazard. I told the front desk, although the woman was very kind, all it came to was “sorry but there’s nothing I can do, come back another time to speak with someone else”.
We went to the pool where no lights were on, and no light switches were found, again alerting the desk and nobody helped. We also were kicked out of the pool at 8pm when all signs said it closed at 9pm.
Finally, the exterior door to our section of rooms was completely off the hinges, 1 a safety concern and 2 letting cold air in all night. We will not be returning to this location.

Good stay for the price. Satisfied with our stay the room was clean. We asked for extra garbage removal and new towels. They did exactly what we asked. Only complaint is that the pool said it was closing at 9 but the worker told us it closed at 8. We were heading out around 8 to the pool but was denied access. Breakfast was simple but good. Overall the stay was applicable.

Room was fine, shower didn’t drain but otherwise clean. But very poor customer service. We booked through a third-party using points because we didn’t want to pay out of pocket. The lady claimed that they never received the payment, even though the third-party called the hotel direct and confirmed all the information and that the transaction was successful. After hanging up on our third-party, they canceled our reservation and then tried to rebook us for $250 when their own website had rooms for $104. They eventually came down to the original 121 (140 after fees) that we had used points for. But it was very poor customer service and incredibly frustrating to think we were trying to save money and they refused to accept the third parties payment. Will never stay at any choice hotel again because of this

This place used to be okay. However, not anymore since they sold it. Dirty, smelly, and absolutely NO INTERNET. If you have kids like a do that needs interned, this is not a place for you. The only place you can get internet here is at the lobby, so my kids had to sit at the lob in order to do anything online.

Great location around many great restaurants, but I gave up on eating because the ants were taking over. ITS NOVEMEBER WHY IS MY.SECOND STORY ROOM FILLED ANTS?! This fella came from under my under my bed with crumbs, I wasn't eating under my bed, these were not my crumbs! The milk in the fridge for breakfast was sour, and the juice machine didn't work at all. The website claimed they have hot breakfast, but I guess oatmeal is hot? Tried to use the pool/sauna/hot tub and when we asked about the temp being low and hitting being foggy the front desk attendant just closed the entire area because the maintenance person had been out for days.

I have been A choice nember for years! I AM a Diamond member! This is the worst stay /Room ever! Totally disgusting! Carpets are stained dirty funiture is worn and chipped My laptop is bigger than the Old TV in the room.. I couldn't rest in this room noise upstairs. Over my head after working a 12hr shift. This room should not be allowed to be sold to guest! Money wasted would of been better off at the Motel 6...

They messed up my room reservation and amount of beds but after alittle back and forth conversation made it right it would have been a better experience if there wasn't shit on the room floor as well I didn't pick it up my buddy did i just hope it was from an animal other then that I did also learn the spot in front of the room is just all open parking which was also disappointing and lastly their was a surprise 7 dollar destination charge as well even though i was already given the price for the room

Book this hotel for October 19 to go to River fire caught either the flu or Covid was real sick. Canceled it two days before the event, but they still took the money off my credit card. There was no sign posted in the hotel. There’s no indication on their website that it’s a nonrefundable room and when we called to talk to them about it, they said it was canceled and they wouldn’t give us back our money and they were rude and hung up on us. Don’t use this hotel. They will rip you off.

Stayed here for a wedding in Gorham. Seems reasonable when looking at the price for the amenities they offer, but buyer beware!! Our room was located in a separate building across the parking lot from the main building. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with the smell of rotten spicy ramen. The room itself had no windows, and the two skylights were boarded up! Oh!! And they charged $65 to have 4 people (instead of 2) stay in a room with two beds!! Just shut down the second building if you don't want to maintain it. Low Quality Inn is more of a suitable name. Non managerial staff members were nice, and even they agreed with the awful smell. Seems to be a management issue here... stay away and stay elsewhere!!

Never seen a worst customer service.

We arrived there at 5:30, they said they couldn’t find our reservation. We had the email with the confirmation number in it but still they didn’t care, said it was not in the system. We then received an email confirmation saying that we cancelled our reservation, which we didn’t. They said someone called one month ago and cancelled but couldn’t give us the number. We then asked to have a room with the same price that was promised in the email which was 300$ but no, they could only charge us the current price which was 1000$ for two nights. Asked to speak to a manager but obviously the manager is just there in the morning. They literally told us they couldn’t do anything for us. We then proceeded to call the customer service. They told us that our reservation was cancelled today at 6:50 by phone! We Asked if they could do something for us and they said they could fill a accident report but didn’t even offer any kind of consolation or credit. We are 5hrs from home and they couldn’t even find us another room. We are diamond members and always had a good experience but this hotel is clearly cancelling reservations made in advance at a lower price to make more money the day of. They wanted to charge us 700$ more, that’s ridiculous.

Room smelled musty opened windows to air it out a little. Found the window lock wasn't even screwed in and no screen in the windows. Bathroom door didn't latch. Room never got cleaned during our stay. Wifi was bad it would be working then be out then be working again. Breakfast was a small packed in area.

Horrible place. They don’t even deserve a zero star. Avoid this place if you can.
The Indian lady at front desk should definitely be fired. Charging ppl $450+ a night and doesn’t even know how to be polite.
Good luck getting internet here, because they will blame on the mountains are blocking their signal.
Avoid this place if you can.

I recently stayed at Quality Inn and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The check-in process was seamless, and the front desk team was friendly and accommodating.

My room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, offering all the amenities I could need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a fantastic night sleep. I also loved the stunning view from my window, which made my mornings extra special.

The hotel facilities were top-notch. I especially enjoyed the pool, hot-tub, sauna. Their continental breakfast, I woke up early So breakfast start time is 6'0 clock , unfortunately I missed It.

The location was perfect—close to Mt. Washington, Story Land. It made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable.

Overall, Quality inn exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and excellent service. I can’t wait to return!

We recently stayed at Quality Inn and we had an exceptional stay and service. The room was clean, ABSOLUTELY NO BED BUGS, so I'm not sure why everyone is saying that. The staff was very nice and helpful. I will be coming back to Quality Inn.

I would give it a ZERO STAR if I could. As soon as I walked into my room I instantly saw two dirty comforters. Not just like one stain I’m talking like multiple marks like unwashed! When I call front desk to ask about it they said they would come with new bedding. I waited so long had to go to front desk and change it myself. But when I did they brought my husband back to show us they didn’t have any extra blankets and told us they are all stained. Arcade change exchange didn’t work. Their time for the pool says 945 in the room but they close it at 9. I wouldn’t recommend this. I even ran to Walmart for my own blankets. Thank god I had my own pillows and etc…. Luckily it was for one night but would of prefer my truck. Also when they clean they move nothing. Dirty, toy, and a food wrapper was behind the table. And shower doesn’t work right either. Friend stood in room on the side of us and their AC LEAKED ON THE FLOOR.

Our stay was abysmal. No towels, no continental breakfast, rude service. Only room cleaning between guests, and even then they managed to walk into the room while we were still packing. Which was two hours before checkout. We will not be coming back. We'll stay in North Hampton and make the extra commute.

Room had a very bad air sanitizing smell that would almost give nausea. Mattress of one bed was so uncomfortable, way over used and broken on one half that sleeping on the floor was better. This bed has surely been subject of complains from previous customers and for quite some time.

Complained at front desk, they "couldn't do anything" but promised "someone from customers services would contact us within 3 days". 3 weeks later, no contact or attempt of has been received.

Make no mistake, "Quality" is nothing else but a business brand, it is NOT a guarantee of quality in any way.

To this hotel management : because of your lack and failure to maintain acceptable furnitures, very core of your business, as for my opinion you are a disgrace to other establishments from this group which do care about the minimum standard level to provide to their customers, and do their job as professionals. Maybe a training about "basics of hospitality" wouldn't hurt.

To head offices / customers services : your department contains two words. Customers and Services. Maybe it's time to consider your customers for what they exactly are : your reason to exist in the first place, to do the job you are ment to do, and do it as true professionals and not as amateurs : providing service, notion that seems to have completely disappeared from your business guidelines.

Your unacceptable lack of professionalism and competencies, and your management failure will be known in the industry.

This hotel is truly one of the grossest hotels I have ever stayed in. There was blood on the floor and stained onto our bedding. The toilet seat was broken. We brought fleas home with us. The breakfast left much to be desired. And all in it was over $200 for one night. The staff was nice and Gorham is wonderful, but the cleanliness needs to be resolved. I am more likely to sleep in my car overnight than book a room here again.

BED BUGS!!!! When we checked in our room still wasn’t ready, the cleaning staff asked us to come back in an hour. When we came back we checked the room before bringing our luggage in and we are so thankful for that decision because the room was infested. We shined a flashlight on one small area near the bed and the nightstand and there were bed bugs crawling over each other.

We promptly went down to the front desk to tell them we would not be staying there and requested a refund. We were told they could not give us a refund, they would not provide us with a phone number to contact management either. The front desk employee went up to the room to verify our complaint.. we could hear him on the phone with someone. When he came back down he told us there were no bugs. We have a video.

He continued to refuse our request to refund so we called Choice hotels and were told we would have to check out first and then Choice hotels would help us with a refund. We then went back to tell the front desk staff that we want to check out yet again. He then told us again we couldn’t.

The police were called. The customer service and cleanliness in this hotel are abominable. Do not waste your money or infest your car and home.

They made us pay before we got to our room, and then we had to wait an hour for the room to be cleaned. We went in before we took our luggage in and Checked the room, it was infested with bed bugs.
The desk person was so rude and would not refund us, would not even let us Check out. Had to call the police , nothing they could do. We traveled from Canada and we're left with no where to stay and no refund. I would never even let an animal stay the night in that disgusting place.

Positive: Location. Reserved late night while traveling through area. Negative: Water pressure non existing. Spiders and spider webs in room look over chair in right corner of room by window. A lot of webs. Desperately needs update.. I'm not sure if capital investment will be worth it.

We were on a motorcycle trip and weather was rolling in. Stopped here and seemed like it would be OK. We ended up getting a room in the old Roadway Inn section. The step-up into the room was very high.
Room was ok. Didn't look like the floor was vacuumed at all and extremely out dated. It was actuallythreadbare.
Bathroom is even more outdated. Took a shower and had to stand in ankle deep water the entire time. By the time we checked out an hour later, the tub had yet to drain. It was a chore to find an outlet to charge one phone.
It was fine for the one night, but would not recommend it.

No way a 2 star hotel should be able to quote a price of over $500 with a straight face. Terrible storm ran us from our campsite, showed up after 10pm looking for shelter/room. They wanted over $500 and we found a better reviewed spot 2 miles down the road for $150, insanity.

The price in the email confirmation was higher than the price quoted on the phone. On top of that, the fees were significantly higher than quoted in the email confirmation. The receptionist (rravi) - who answered the phone call and checked me in - spoke poor English and didn't seem to understand what I was saying. He initially gave me a room that was already occupied by a man, and when I complained he checked on that room (because he didn't believe me) before giving me a room across the hall saying it was identical, which if true would mean the Rodeway Inn and Quality Inn rooms are the same. After I finally got settled, there was lots of noise until the quiet time (22:00), including someone who ran the shower for 40 minutes.

This place is also Rodeway Inn. Price that showed up on Google maps was $89/single room. I reserved 2 rooms by phone for the coming weekend. I didn't confirm the price thinking the map was accurate, and they never told me on the phone. When I got here, they said it was $189 plus tax per room. Non refundable. Be advised that the prices that show up on the map are for that day only. Weekends are much more, and more than double for a holiday weekends. My bad, but they could have told me when I reserved.

Then the power went out during the evening. It was a partial phase loss. Half the lights and outlets worked, half did not. Cable TV was out. AC only blew room temperature air. No cooling. I couldn't even shower in my room. No light. Had to use other room. The manager refused to give me any sort of refund saying that I should call the power company (as if that would be anything other than an exercise in futility). They were completely indifferent. The chain headquarters at least offered a $90 cash payoff (they said it was not a refund). I didn't take it.

Be careful of the shower tub. Friction dots are worn off the floor of it and its slippery as ice. And no grab bars. An ADA code violation by the way.

I won't be back. Because of the holiday price gouging and their apathy towards me paying double premium rates for half normal service, I am totally turned off by travel and the entire area.

Worst reception staff ever. We couldn’t stay at the hotel although we had a booking with service dogs, as they didn’t have any “pet rooms” per se and tried to get us into a room that another guest was checked in physically at the moment but asking for a change due to which problem who knows. Had to find another hotel nearby and it’s great luckily. I’d definitely recommend Town & Country Inn & Resort instead!!

Not recommended, this hotel is disgusting

The staff is unfriendly and not very committed.

The rooms are dark, dirty and smell bad, bed sheets and pillows do not smell freshly washed and already used.
Spiders everywhere on the window outside and no fly screens.
The bathrooms are a disaster: old, broken, dirty!

The breakfast "buffet" is very poor: an empty waffle machine, a few half-rotten bananas and the only spread is butter, no jam, no peanut butter, no sausage...
The entire breakfast room is filthy

Absolutely not recommended and really disgusting.

There is a persistent smell in the rooms. I'm not sure if it's the old carpet or what. Switched rooms, and there was a different stinky smell. Thank goodness for lysol!!!! Good location, book online and not at the desk for best price. Staff was friendly, but the SMELL in the rooms is hard to get over even for a 2 star hotel.

There are two Choice Hotel properties at this location. My review is for the section that is the Rodeway Inn.

The rooms are extremely small and in need of a complete makeover. Lighting is dark and the bathrooms have seen better days with old fixtures, stained sinks, tubs that don't drain. At least the bed was comfortable.

Be aware that the charge a $7.95 per day destination charge. This was not shown on my reservation. I was told by one of the managers that is to cover things like the shampoo bottles, coffee & the sugar/whitener and toilet paper (REALLY?).

The free breakfast (is it really free?) Is OK with the only hot food being Waffles that you make in a real Waffle Maker.

New owners and staff don't enforce cleanliness or care about guest experience or concerns. Increased fees over what was advertised on Choice Hotels site. Dirty floor, stained bedding, used personal care item, and previous guest clothing on floor means housekeeping didn't do their job. Was told no manager on site to address issues. Days after we left, and we had to contact them as they never called as we were promised, we were offered 15% off a future stay? Seriously??

Avoid room 219. No windows, but skylights above the beds that wake you up at dawn, absolutely no Wi-Fi, A/C unit right above the bed with noise, tiny ants on the bathroom floor, previous occupants hair on the shower wall, toilet blocked when we accessed the room (they unblocked it), paint and plaster flaking on the ceiling, has 2 queen beds when we booked a king bed, 3 months ago (no biggie) and what felt like a made-up $7.50 'destination charge's on checking above our reservation cost($129), on a busy night. Other than that it was great.

This weekend was a total shot show here and they don’t take accountability for doing things wrong. We got to the hotel and we had reserved a room down stairs and when we got there they told us that they had someone in that room and they have been there for a couple days now. They never offered any discount on their mess up they charged a lot of money for a room that they never came to clean at all. I recommend not ever going to this place for any serum stances.

Place is disgusting. They have bed bugs and pretty sure
staff knows about it. When I told them they didn’t seem surprised. I was overcharged and still awaiting a partial refund. My suggestion to anyone who book here definitely take this review seriously. Check at the top of the bed in the seams of the mattress and that’s where the bed bugs will be. Also put your luggage in shower/tub to prevent bringing infestation home with you. Good luck on your journey.

The pictures on they sent the booking website is not what we wanted at all, they made the place look so nice but it was garbage. When walking to my room it smelt really bad like some sort of food and it was there my entire stay (2 nights) we went into our rooms and one of the bed sheets had a yellow stain on it. the carpets were gross and had stains on them. the shower curtains didn't go around the whole shower, not only that but the tub was extremely displeasing. when i made it to the hot tub i was greeted with scum or something floating around, it looked like it hasn't been clean in awhile. i wouldn't recommend staying here at all.
