Shout out to Dan Hoover and the team from Panda Exteriors! He helped us through the process and the install team was first rate. They installed our new roof and cleaned up the work area in one workday. The very next day we got 6 inches of snow on it, not to mention since then multiple rainy days, high winds and yes, more snow! Our new roof has gotten the ultimate test drive and has passed with flying colors. If you want honest, professional workmanship give Panda a call.

The Panda Crew came in did their prepped work, installed, and cleaned up. Outstanding jobs. The project manager, Chris, was very informative and very professional. I’d like to start by saying that they did an excellent job, especially Diego—he was amazing! He came to my house with no pressure and gave me a fair price. I had called several companies, and they all quoted me outrageously high prices. Diego, however, was very patient with me, explained everything thoroughly, and gave me the best price right from the start.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Eddie Whelan and Chris Ayala on a roofing project, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. As a first-time homebuyer with limited knowledge about roofs, I had plenty of questions, and they were incredibly patient and thorough in answering each one. The communication with Eddie and Chris was outstanding from start to finish. They kept me informed every step of the way, ensuring I knew exactly what to expect.

The project itself was completed swiftly and efficiently. The whole project was finished within a little bit more than a day with the plywood replaced. The finished product looks fantastic, with attention to detail evident in every aspect of the job. They took care of all the cleanup, leaving the site spotless. I didn’t have to worry about picking up a single piece of debris afterward.

Great company to handle roofing and siding needs. They are fast and reasonably priced and help with getting insurance to cover damages from weather events.

A very efficient company. Everything was very smooth & easy from start to finish. The Panda guys are all very professional, helpful & respectful.

If I could give a rating of less than one star I would. A Panda rep. just stopped by to attempt to schedule an appointment for what I assume would be a sales person. This rep said he had no business card when I requested one, but he was wearing a polo type shirt with a Panda logo. He suggested that I could get free replacement roof shingles, paid for by our insurance, because our shingles are covered with moss which damage shingles. Also, he stated that our shingles have been discontinued; he had no way of knowing this. Replacement of my shingles 40 year old shingles is longtime overdue normal maintenance and not the responsibility of my insurance company. Having my insurance company pay for my shingle replacement is dishonest and because others do this is a major reason for insurance cost to be so expensive.

I recently had my roof and gutters replaced by the pros at Panda Exteriors. Their workmanship and their expertise in dealing with my insurance company was outstanding. Andy and George are the best at what they do and they went the extra mile to ensure my insurance company had all the required documentation and proof needed to fully assess my damages. The quality of materials utilized gives me added protection and peace of mind.

Great company , did the roof in 1 day , explained and help with the process . Extremely happy .

I am extremely grateful for the outstanding evaluation and service provided by Panda Exteriors. After receiving a costly quote from another company for a supposed exhaust pipe leak on my roof, Panda discovered that the actual issue was three rotten boards and missing tiles on the roof. They swiftly replaced the boards, fixed the roof, and met all my requirements. Their service was excellent from start to finish, including the clean-up. Thank you, Panda Exteriors!

Panda exteriors recently replaced the roof on my home. Chris was the project coordinator the and was very attentive and has great communicating skills. I'm a general contractor and I told them before they started that I would be keeping a close eye on their work, In particular the step flashing that was required around the masonry chimney. The installer did an excellent job. Unfortunately, you don't see that attention to detail from some roofing contractors. My next door neighbor is having them come over next week and give him an estimate for his roof. I highly recommend them and look forward to working with them on some of my future projects.

We had a wonderful experience. Worked with our insurance company. Showed up on time at 7 am they were done at 5/6 pm and cleaned up everything.

2 Stars. lets talk about it.

In terms of work and quality and service, Top Notch. At the time, my schedule was wonky and to get a meeting was difficult, 95% my fault. The quality and efficiency and communication was excellent. Held our hand the entire way and helped us out and the prices were fair. Coordinated with Andy mostly and he was great.

Lets talk about what I didnt like and HATED:

1st. The clean up. They did mainly a great job, but there was still debris and nails found throughout the garage and drive way. They didnt bother covering any exposed items in the garage, so random debris was found along with previous roofing materials. Tiny issue, but still, could have been a punctured tire costing $$$$.

2nd. This is the biggest complaint. They put us in a tough position and didnt give us time to make a decision. And it felt like we got SCAMMED. To be honest, we probably were. With an older roof, they needed it to be brought up to code for them to warranty it with the underlying plywood. Fine, Understandable. Code stated it needed to be 1/2", we were at 3/8s. The roof was already removed and work was halted for us to make a decision. We tried to contact insurance, but they couldnt get back to us. They insisted that insurance SHOULD cover it, but never explained the caveat: we needed to have Building Code coverage (not standard and they knew this as they has our insurance policy). We had to shell out an extra 7200 for 1/2" plywood for the roof. Insurance didnt cover it, and they even stated they worked with this company before and it should have been stated to us. Panda never brought it up, never discussed it and didnt give us an option. It felt deceptive, because we were put in a tough position and wasnt given an opportunity to discuss or consider options. We could have gone with 3/8", but they insisted on 1/2" for code and their warranty. Never stated anything about needing/having the additional coverage. It felt deceptive, it felt misleading. They even stated at the end that they sent us a bill for 7000 and they would charge the insurance company more. We would just send them the difference.

It felt like to me that we were basically taken advantage of to line their pockets and then proceeded to use us even more to try to get more money if they could.

It just sucks that everything went well up until this point. We no longer felt like a customer and just felt like a bottom line and an opportunity to make money, or more money, without filling us in.

Rough math says the plywood is 60/sheet at 57 or so sheets, so 3500. Thats a 100% mark up for us. They were charging insurance 8300. So, it kinda feels like a scam...... they got extra money from us without any explanation and forced us into a position where we had to make a decision. 7200 is a lot.

But lets be real, Panda, will move on from this, or provide some justification cause at the end of the day, they got the money.

Just be weary, be informed. Dont be a victim

We were very happy with our new roof, they were in and out In a day and it looks fabulous

From the door knock to the roof installation it was a great seamless process. They worked with my insurance company to negotiate a price that worked for both of them to install a brand new roof. I opted to spend some extra money to upgrade different components to my roof and my wife and I are very pleased. The easiest and nicest company we worked with to do a home remodeling project. We had a small leak we didn’t even notice but now we have the peace of mind of a new roof and the extended warranty for 50 years!!

Panda is the best roofing company around. They help people get new roofs for pennies on the dollar and offer the best warranties around. Unbiased opinion despite working here, they take care of their customers and their employees alike!

I was stopped alwithout gas and a Panda exteriors person (employee) was kind enough to stop, get out of his vehicle and ask:” ma’am, are you okay?” Although he was headed to work, he cared enough to go and get me gas. He said he would go and get it and he did. So kind. I give them a 5⭐️rating. Good people.as a pastor I have prayed for that person Trey. God bless you dear.

They went above and beyond. Pulled the old shingles off, put new plywood in places, and new shingles in one day. No ordinary roof, either -- three storeys up and a lot of square feet. I'm very satisfied. They fixed stuff I failed to mention and found other trouble spots that I did not know about.

I found this company to be very professional and communicative. Excellent product and workmanship. My Project Manager, Chris Ayala, was very present, interacted well with the crew, and provided excellent customer service. The crew were synergized and well trained, being careful to protect shrubs and flower beds. Clean-up efforts were second to none.
