I had a fantastic experience with LAB Exteriors and highly recommend them. I had numerous problem areas around my home that needed repairs such as large gaps in the siding, rotting wood, openings between our roof and dormer windows, and even thick vines that had grown in-between the siding corner pieces. We hired lab exteriors to redo our sidings. Alex is very courteous and helpful, in providing ideas and advice. With the great reviews they have got, their quote is still the best we received (They were the second firm we contacted. I was leaning towards them already but contacted two more firms after them just for comparison). The work quality lived up to the good reviews. They do good work as they give you 10 years warranty to back it up. The only thing is that I would advise to contact them earlier than you really want your project to be done as they are quite popular. We waited for three months due to snow. But it’s very worth it!

Lab Exteriors did a great job wrapping the fascia on my flat roof house. They replaced damaged/rotted wood before expertly installing metal over the fascia. The crew was professional while working and left the worksite immaculate. The job was completed in one day and it really improves the look of the house.

We recently had LAB Exteriors replace our very old (and apparently rotting) roof with a beautiful, metal roof. They also modernized our shabby-looking 1957 midcentury modern home by replacing the siding with Hardie board and replacing the gutters and fascia. Great! I had a great experience with Lab Exteriors. Brandon was great in getting my roof assessed and writing up a quote. They were by far the best and most competitive price. All other companies that I got quotes from then turned around and met the price I got from Lab. So Lab gives you the best price from the beginning. A++, honest company. Brandon was the third roof contractor I had in to look at a leak where a roof deck joined up to my house. I just bought the house and discovered the leak when doing flooring. Ripped out the rotted wood and pulled up some deck boards. Two previous contractors came by before Brandon and did cursory reviews and with little assessment simply stated I "needed to replace the entire roof" (10-15K). Brandon arrived, inspected the damage from all angles, acknowledged he couldn't be sure of the source of the leak from his inspection, but wanted to proceed incrementally with the repair so as not to end up charging me for things I didn't need. Brandon called back about an hour later and suggested I try a water test with a hose. I did this and it was very clear that the problem could be fixed by $20 of weather stripping and caulk around a door opening, rather than a $15,000 roof replacement. Can't say how grateful I am for Brandon's honest guidance and advice! These guys are not out to rip you off, in contrast to the two other contractors I had look at it.

I discovered water damage on my ceiling. Suspecting a leaky roof, I called LAB Exteriors. They responded quickly and was able to send out a crew to investigate the next day. They discovered the issue and covered the problematic area with a tarp to mitigate the problem while LAB Exteriors took care of filing claims with my insurance.
I worked with Brandon, who also owns the company. Throughout the process, Brandon has been easy to work with and he responded to my questions quickly. He even helped with gathering the required info to submit to the HOA for approval.

I took my time in selecting a roofing contractor. I did much research, heard several pitches, and took recommendations. It took more than a month. I was unsure who to go with, or whether to go with anyone at all. Then, I met Brandon from LAB Exteriors, and it all made so much sense. He could explain his plan with such accuracy, but he also explained it in a way that made sense.

My initial meeting with Brandon was like pulling back the curtain. I immediately could see LAB's focus on being a fair and ethical company. I saw how Brandon determined the best options for my house, and I saw how he examined my ideas with what my house needed. He showed me on his software exactly where the pricing came from; unlike most contractors, LAB starts with their best price instead of being talked down to it. It became more of a consultation rather than a performance or pitch like you see in much of the industry. He educated me in the different vendors and the options with each. LAB has great relationships with vendors.

Brandon offered the quote after our first meeting, did not do pressure pitch, and it was easy - basically, it was the opposite of much of the industry. If I could describe my experience with LAB, in a word, it would be this: transparency. I find we can't use that word with much of anything these days, so to be able to use it in a specialized industry that could easily exploit my lack of knowledge says much about the character and ethics of the company. My wife felt comfortable as well.

Brandon and I went through several options and how different materials would work on my roof, door, and windows. I was indecisive, and it was never a problem if I wanted a new work up, material, or addition to the project. In fact, Brandon shared several resources with me where I could build what I liked and share it with him. He humored me and let me design whatever I wanted, and then he showed me how he ran the numbers. LAB underpromised what they could do, and then they over delivered in what they did. My house is in much better shape than before.

LAB proved that you can trust a contractor, and they broke the stereotype that contractors take advantage of people. They are very much a local company, and they give back to the community. If you are looking for a contractor and you try some of the big companies around here, you will likely walk away disappointed. I strongly suggest talking to LAB Exteriors. Even if you think you found your best option, I suggest you give LAB a call. You won't regret it.

After our gutters were replaced, we noticed that one section was not pitched enough, and was collecting water. When we called to let them know, the crew came back within 2 days to fix it. Brandon & his team undertook 2 major jobs at my house recently. Our old roof was over 50 years old & leaking, the wood under it had started rotting. The siding had significant damage from hail & was falling apart in places.

I recently had the pleasure of working with LAB Exteriors remodeling company to fix the dormers on my house. From the very beginning, LAB Exteriors understood the unique challenges associated with working on my house which is located in a historic district and required to meet strict building codes. Accessing the dormers proved to be quite a challenge, as they were positioned in an awkward, very high, and hard-to-reach location. However, this company's team of skilled craftsmen were able to complete the job expertly. The team adhered to the agreed-upon timeline, were respectful of my property, and had excellent communication throughout the project. I cannot recommend LAB Exteriors highly enough.

LAB Exteriors installed a new roof, gutters, gutter guards, 2 Velux sun tunnels and a new Velux skylight for my townhouse. We reached out to LAB exteriors for an aging roof. Alex was very thorough in inspecting the roof as well the attic for possible in and out repairs/replacement of the roof/plywood. He was very prompt and on time and would respond without fail. He was also very professional and knowledgeable asking for the HOA documents to go with the right color and material.
