I would definitely recommend Mountaintop metal roofing. Our experience with them was very good.
It started with the sales rep (Max) doing a thorough job on the estimate so that there were no surprises when we received the final invoice. Other companies that gave us estimates made it clear to us that additional costs due to change orders were not uncommon. We didn't have those with Mountaintop.
The crew was very professional. They removed and hauled away the old roof and installed the new 3600 sq.ft. roof in 3 1/2 days. The new roof looks great and we would recommend them to anyone.

Mountaintop's work was everything you'd like to see from a home improvement project. Kept their commitments, work crew was polite, conscientious, answered all questions, cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, and workmanship was very high quality. As a business experience this is one of my best experiences with any contractor. We interviewed 7 different local companies before deciding on Mountaintop for out metal roof. One of the major reasons was no other metal roofing company bothered to mention that traditional metal roof warranties are dramatically diminished when leaving within 15 miles of the coast and non existent if living on the coast. Mountaintop advised us to review the paperwork provided by other companies and sure enough we found this warranty issue to be real.

The solution provided by Max (salesman) and team was an interlocking aluminum system that deals with salt water much better.

They worked with our budget and got us reasonable financing terms so we did not have to pay the entire bill out of pocket. About 4-5 weeks after we first met construction began.

We had additional complications that came from our insulation requirements and caused delays from 3rd party insulation contractors but the Mountaintop team worked with everyone to create a plan that allowed them to continue moving forward. while creating working space for other contractors and their delays.

Job Site cleanup was IMMACULATE I have attempted fervently to find a nail or screw on the ground i could insist on additional Magnetic rolling but haven't found a single one.

Mountaintop Metal Roofing did a phenomenal job installing my aluminum shingle roof. They had to replace everything including the underlayment and they managed to get it all done in a week. Roofing is a tough job especially when done in cold, rainy weather of Pacific Northwest winters, but the installation crew was quick and efficient to get my roof installed before the first snowfall of the season hit. There were a few hiccups in the process, but they were spectacular in communicating with me and resolving any issues in a timely manner. They left the job site spotless every day, even sweeping the ground to ensure no nails were lying around to cause flat tires. MMR (my acronym for Mountaintop Metal Roofing) removed a composite roof and replaced with standing seam aluminum. During the bidding, contract, & scheduling process, Max and Kailey were clear, timely, and professional. It felt like a little bit of a hard sell on the slightly more expensive (than steel) aluminum. In retrospect, I think that was mostly Max’s passion about the workability of aluminum and its heat-reflective properties. Roman, Joseph, & Oleg (the installers) seemed very efficient, safe, hard-working and left the job-site (err, my home) tidy every night. I recommend MMR.

Mountaintop Metal Roofing, of Portland, OR, helped us choose our desired metal roof, and installed it. The responsive parent company was easy and friendly to work with. All promises were met and the installation was excellent. The three installers all worked tirelessly (even during our one day of rain in 3 months!), intelligently, and thoughtfully, including careful cleanup. They did an excellent job on a complex product installation with the inclusion of mounting brackets for the 32 solar panels next to be installed. Best installation crew ever! We are delighted with the fully fireproof and lifetime results.

These folks did an excellent job putting on a metal roof. They provided several different options and explained them all to me in detail, their installers were professional and friendly and did a great job, they left the work site sparkling clean (they even cleaned my skylights while they were up there!), and they got the job done sooner than I was anticipating. Best roofing experience I've had.

We needed a new roof and, since we live in an area with many fir trees, to go for a metal roof. We selected Mountaintop Metal Roofing based on customer reviews and BBB ratings. We couldn't be happier with our choice. We got the color we wanted, the roof looks like it is shingled (not the ribbed look you see on. pole barns), and it looks awesome!!! The guys that came out had to strip off the old asphalt roof and make some repairs, so we expected a mess. However, the two guys doing the roof cleaned everything up at the end of each day and treated our property like they would treat their own. They were on time everyday, were friendly, efficient, professional, courteous, and careful. And best of all, it is guaranteed for life and we will never have to replace our roof again! Everyone at Mountaintop has been great from start to finish and we could not recommend them more.

Everyone on the Mountaintop team was super impressive from start to finish. Max spent significant time with us answering questions and providing samples. He was responsive, thorough and warm in every interaction. Communication was great with calls/text/email keeping me in the loop with timelines and expectations. The install crew was punctual, hard working, patient with my requests/questions and, most importantly, delivered excellent craftsmanship. We have done significant work on improving our home over the last several years and have worked with many companies and trades-- our wish is that they would all be more like our experience with Mountaintop.

We decided on Mountaintop in large part because we felt that the sales person, Mike, was genuine in his pitch. We had already gotten a bid from a competitor, but with Mountaintop and Mike, we felt like we had someone who would be more responsive if anything went wrong. The installation took about 2 weeks total for tear off of 2 layers, install of 3 skylights, and metal shingles install on a porch, 3 bumpouts, and the main hipped roof. With the exception of some unexpected (but apparently necessary) vents on the porch and bumpout roofs, we are very happy with the look of the new roof. Gene. the installer, took his time and talked with us during the process. He even came the morning of Thanksgiving to try and get the roof wrapped up sooner. We're pleased so far with our new roof and highly recommend Mountaintop!
