We had crawlspace and attic insulation upgraded as well as 2 new bathroom fans and an EV charger install. CAZ was better-priced than the competitors we checked, and it was a professional experience (on-time, clean, courteous and quick). We had Matt for the initial bid and supervision, insulation work was performed quickly by Alfredo's team, and Keith did electric. I appreciate that Matt was laid back and didn't try to upsell us on the work.

Just had the electrical wiring and installation of circuit breaker box and 2 HVAC heat pumps completed by your team; Brian (HVAC) and Shannon, Ricky & Isaac (electricians). These guys were all terrific! They were on time (to the minute), efficient, hard working, thorough, informative, considerate and very polite. Excellent work done by an excellent team. Thanks to all. Eric changed out a turnpost, fixed rot in an exterior window and patched a small 2X4 deck board that had some rot. The work that Eric did was nothing short of incredible. He is a real problem solver of unexpected "surprises" never doubting his ability to figure out what to do. His work is impeccable, precise with great attention to detail. I am so pleased with the outcome. I have had CAZ do other projects here and remain very impressed with the expertise and care that they put into their work. Thank again, Eric for an excellent job!

CAZ installed a heat pump, ventilation fan and upgraded the insulation under our house. The team was very friendly, kept worksites clean and tidy, and I'm very happy with the quality of the work and the benefits of a lower electric bill from the heat pump. Special shout out to Shannon, Oswaldo, Pedro, Brian and Mardo for their work. My only suggestion for improvement is being more punctual. A couple of times they missed arrival windows by more than 30 minutes. But that's a small mar on an otherwise excellent project execution. Highly recommend!

They came right on time that morning and worked tirelessly a full day in order to accommodate my tight schedule. Jeremy and Ricky did a fantastic job wiring our entire kitchen and bathroom, adding several new circuits to our panel. Before starting their work, they spent considerable time talking through the layout with me, offering helpful suggestions for outlet placement. They continuously updated me on their progress and thoroughly walked through the inspection process with me. I will be requesting Jeremy and Ricky for all my electrical work going forward!

Thank you to the specialists for installing my new mini-split system. HVAC specialist Mardo and the electrician (whose name I don’t remember) did a great job running the cable for the heat pump and installing two baseboard heaters. The work was completed on time and neatly.
Also, thanks to electrician Jeremy, who came by on another day to install a baseboard heater in our bathroom. Now our bathroom is warm and cozy.

Fantastic service from start to finish. I sent a message about my hissing water heater and almost instantly got an email from Nicole to help me set up an appointment. They fit me in the day I called and even showed up a little early. The two guys who came diagnosed the issue quickly, let me know what the cost would be and made the repair. Our last job completed by CAZ was replacement of plumbing (with Steven, Grayson, and John) in basement and creating a partial foundation (with Eric, Isaac, Oliver, and Colby) under our 130+ year old house. We have worked with their plumbing, electrical and construction departments.

CAZ team completed repairs to my crawlspace. It required removal and replacement of all insulation, ducting and plastic ground mat. From the initial site inspection and quote, to the management of work schedule, it was seamless thanks to Matt Guzman who made the entire project happen. He was attentive to details and keep me updated and was always available to discuss progress and options. The ground team of Pedro and Adrian tackled the dirty work in the middle of the cold and rain. They put in long days in a cramped, dark, damp work place. They know their trade and exercise it with expertise. All round, a well functioning team. Thank-you.

We had Shannon and Ricky out the first day. Shannon was very friendly, informative and polite. He asked if he should take off his shoes, and even though I said no - he usually took him off. He was very thorough, I feel super confident with his job and would totally want him back to work on my electric again if needed. He suggested a fix that was super helpful for our back deck and we are very pleased with the results. Ricky was also very polite and friendly. Both did a fantastic job. Mando came to install the heat pump. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Showed me how to work the remote. Plus, they cleaned up when they were done! Totally an A+ on these men. Thank you for making our home warm and safe.

I've hired CAZ for a few small/residential projects now, each time they've been on time, professional, and efficient.

Most recently Eric completed a siding project, and his work was beautiful. There were shortcuts he could have taken, but he put forth the extra effort to make the small details look nice. Every nook and cranny was sealed, all cuts were neat, and the work site was left clean. I was also impressed by the speed with which he completed the project.

There were some hiccups along the way (theyre bound to come up with any project like this). The company showed a lot of integrity, working to make sure I was satisfied with the work done and overall outcome.

I've had a handful of experiences with a few other contractors in the Bellingham area and good help seems hard to come by these days. CAZ's bids are fair for the quality of work they do - I would choose them again for future projects based on customer service alone. That being said I've been very pleased with their craftsmanship as well.

Shannon was waiting for me as I got home from work. His greeting and introduction was appropriately done. He was skilled in installing three heaters and a bathroom fan. All he needed from me was the location that I wanted the heaters to go and he went about doing the installation. One of the locations was tight but he managed to install it perfectly.

We needed our residential electric panel upgraded. CAZ Electric responded to our request with a competitive bid and an installation timeframe that met our needs. The work was completed on time and budget. Their electricians, Shannon and Ricky, were very professional and pleasant to work with. We would definitely use the CAZ team again.

CAZ completely refurbished our crawlspace. Matt came out and quickly came up with an estimate, and listened as I explained some of the idiosyncrasies of our 1903 house. Matt is a no-nonsense guy and a great communicator, and checked in regularly. He even mentioned current rebates through Cascade Natural Gas and took care of all that paperwork. Alfredo, Alberto, and Jimmy removed the old insulation and vapor barrier, then came back the next day to screen off access points for rodents and wildlife, then laid down new vapor barrier, insulated under the floor, and add extra insulation around our pipes, and built new access doors. The crew was efficient, friendly, and cleaned up each day. They also took care of some garage insulation the previous year. Great job and a pleasure to work with!

Two polite men who explained what they would be doing today, did an excellent job, showed me what they had done, cleaned up the work site, and wished me well on exiting. My thanks to you both.

We’ve worked with CAZ on a number of electrical and plumbing projects at our home. Most recently, they updated our crawlspace and did great work in an efficient manner. We wouldn’t put our home in anyone else’s hands.

I have done more than $40k worth of business with CAZ on my small, single family home. I've found them to be extremely dependable, communicative, and honest. They are easy to work with and only do work that I have ok'd. They've shored up my foundation, fixed my porch, laid a new vapor barrier, and insulated and air sealed my house top to bottom. Best of all, they have been very clear on when work is NOT needed (I don't have an eye for it and am not handy) and they dont dummy up reasons to charge me like some other companies I have had experience with. They are my first call for any construction projects.

Be cautious this company came out to give my grandparents a bid to have a bathroom fan replaced. The representative came out, told my grandmother that she needed to have a separate circuit breaker for a fan in an existing house, In the process tacked on a couple thousand dollars to the bid to run a 20 amp breaker for a single bathroom fan in the upstairs bathroom. The representative came out and informed my grandmother that was an electrical code and was needed to ensure fan was installed up to code. ITS NOT. So either the representative just wanted to upsell my grandmother to make the job more Appealing to the company, or too incompetent to comprehend Electrical code. Either way, it seems like they Tried to take advantage of an Elderly couple. Lynden sheet metal came out and provided estimate for over $2500 cheaper and no mention of installing a new breaker.

I met with the owner and general manager, both were so warm and welcoming! Business seems to be very well run and value their employees.

The CAZ team that worked on our foundation were skillful and efficient. It was such a pleasure to work with all of them. The lead, Matthew Guzman, offered so much insight into what we needed and the team including Gerardo and Odoaldo, among others, worked hard and knew what they were doing.

I have no words for these guyz!! They are by far the most helpful and professional crew I have come across. We got our crawl space reinsulated and duct work done through them. Matt Guzman did the assessment of the work and made suggestions to us in a very honest manner. He clearly shared what work was needed and what was just nice to have.
Their prices are very competitive and they communicated throughout the process. The work was done to perfection!
On a different occasion, I had a heating issue in the house weeks after the insulation work was done and I reached out to Matt regarding that. We weren’t getting heat in 2 of our rooms. This is when we have 14 inches of snow outside and it was almost impossible to sleep in those rooms.
Matt recognized the urgency and as soon as it was safe to drive on the roads, he sent Mike and Isaac. Both of them were extremely nice and professional.
We’ll surely reach out to them whenever we have any other work to be done.

I had CAZ do an air sealing and insulation project at my house. Everyone at CAZ was great to work with. Excellent communication throughout the whole process. Good quality workmanship and cleaned up the worksite when they were finished. Highly recommend.

CAZ did a phenomenal job insulating our newly built detached garage, and I don't say that lightly. I have a 15-year career and weatherization, home performance, and building science, and have performed many QC inspections of insulation work. The work they did was as good as I've seen. I had some special requests that were a bit outside of their typical methods, and they did the job quickly, efficiently, and with great care. I truly couldn't find any flaws. All staff I dealt with, including the crews, were very responsive, respectful, and friendly. I wouldn't call anyone else!

WOW! I've been meaning to write this review for months. I am still so incredible pleased with the professional team of experts that put in a new heat pump systems at my home. These guys took care of business!! no delays, no mess, all clear communications...shout out to the few whose names I remember: Cole Miller, Scott, & Matt? I think. Left a message with a receptionist. No one returned my phone call or leave a message. I can only rate my experience of their communication capabilities only. However, I just got a written response from the owner yesterday, and apparently there was a mix up, so I'm changing my rating of the company's communication and wish them my best.

Office staff helpful. Appointments available within a few days. The plumbers arrived, assessed and installed an emergency shutoff valve in less than an hour. Fantastic!

I had an appointment window between 10 and 12. They contacted me and told me that they had an emergency and would reschedule for the next day. They were able to resolve their emergency, called me, and came out later the same afternoon and completed the repairs. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and went right to work to resolve our problem.

Favinger Plumbing were prompt, gave 2 choices for repair, and completed chosen repair in a professional & timely manner. Working well ahead by looking at our photos of project needed, then set 2 hour time frame to start & complete work. They were very respectful of persons, home & covid requirements. Thanks so much!!

They responded quickly to an emergency plumbing repair at our apartment complex. They quickly identified the problem and completed the repair when they arrived. Very impressed!

From the first site visit & quote through to completion, the CAZ team did an excellent job. They added a 4 head mini-split system to a 1960's bungalow to replace old style electric wall heaters. The work was all conducted while we were out of town so we couldn't see what was happening. We did not need to worry! When we got home, we were greeted with a complete, professionally installed system with a 15 year warranty. When one or two questions came up, they were quick to call and let us know, they suggested a solution and completed the work. No fuss, no bother! CAZ handled the paperwork with PSE, county & state permits, it was an easy process! All of this for a very fair price with excellent communication along the way. I will definitely hire them again if the need arises.

We have used CAZ twice now, once for a minor electrical issue and again to insulate our attic crawlspace. Both times they were professional, straightforward, easy to work with, and clear communicators. We will absolutely be calling them next time we need any work done, and I highly recommend them!

We have used CAZ insulation and Energy Services for insulation in a garage and whole home, heat pump installation, electrical work , plumbing work, including a drain check and clean out. All work was done efficiently, professionally, on time, with complete clean up when done. I'd use them again.

Dan and his team helped me in the fall with installing a ductless heat pump and additional electric heaters. Unit works great and their install was timely and very reasonable. This past week while using the air conditioning function of the system we noticed a small leak on the inside unit. I called Dan and he was there the next day to troubleshoot and the next day after that his technician was there to remove repair and re-install the unit all at no charge. Excellent communication and service. Great Value and really nice humans..we will definitely call on CAZ again.

We were very pleased with the blown-in attic insulation removal performed by Mardo and Alfredo; very hard working fellows. Our 1925 house had a 1976 add-on project that was poorly done which added difficulty for accessing those areas. Also, when the roof was redone, old wood shingles and other debris was dropped into the insulation, which necessitated removal prior to sucking out the old insulation. The estimate, scheduling, and work performed by this company was great.

Just installed a new heat pump using existing heating ducts that were leaking and uninsulated and the insulation under my floor was in bad shape. Got a couple of bids and was considering another installer's option that would have cost less by cutting corners. Am very happy that I went to CAZ and had new insulation installed for a few dollars more. The ducts were sealed and insulated as well, and the lead installer, Angel, recommended I get the crawl space rodent proofed (have always had mice getting in) and to get a good dryer duct - the current one had broken again and was blowing dryer air into the crawl space.
For the first time since we moved in 30 years ago I no longer have to worry about my water pipes freezing, the dryer duct leaking, insulation on the ground, etc. A carpenter friend crawled under the house and said that CAZ (Angel and his crew) did a great job and I appreciate them putting my mind at ease.
