A few days ago Jose Rodriquez knocked on our door and offered us a free roof inspection even at this point in time we didn’t need the service he really made us feel like family.

Yesterday,
We were pleased to have Jose Rodriquez come to our door today to help us, we didn’t need the service unfortunately but he made us feel like family. He knew what he was talking about and checked out our roof for FREE! Will definitely be contacting him soon.

The crew did a great job installing the new roof. Efrain and Jennifer were very good to work with and appreciate their efforts.

We replaced our roof after 19 years with the Charcoal Shingles and our home looks brand new again. What a difference!

2 separate signs on my front door that say NO SOLICITING, and they still knocked on my door wanting to inspect my roof. You need to respect peoples property and wishes. Owner, you need to correct your people, as I see i'm not the only one they have done this to. In fact, all of Berkeley County requires a permit to solicit door to door. Next time, I'll call BCSO and have them escorted out of the subdivision.

My wife and I invested in a fixer upper for a first home a few years ago. After a recent storm that caused a leak in our roof, we knew we needed to replace it sooner than expected. As luck would have it, Jordan Forsuth showed up at our door. I listened to what he had to say about Modern Roofing and their services and was impressed. I wasn’t pressed into a contract and I learned a lot based off his initial inspection. I felt comfortable the entire time as he walked me through the process and sure enough the process was seamless and easy step by step. He offered Great Communication and Customer Service, Answered all questions in a timely manner, and even went out of his way when my wife had a packaged delivered to make sure it was safe and didn’t get mixed with the trash. I throughly enjoyed working with not only Jordan but also Shawn Myers, Project Manager. Great person and very knowledgeable and together they made an awesome team. My wife and I truly appreciate you guys for your services and would highly recommend Modern Roofing for any roofing needs.

Great service, with very reasonable pricing even without the help of my insurance. The crew handled everything then followed up with a more than affordable price without over selling. They showed me options and helped me get what was best for my budget. Once the install date came they were in and out in less than one work day. Thank you.

The roof work is fantastic. No complaints there. I was suppose to receive about 1200$ after my deductible to repair the ceilings in my house from water damage. When all said and done, Modern Roofing has figured out a way to swindle all my insurance money leaving me with no money to repair my ceilings. Almost 15k for a 1600 sq ft home. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Shawn Myers, my Project Manager, was wonderful. He's very professional and is there to help you with any questions or problems you may have. I have a new roof and I like the color.

I LIVE IN A NO SOLICITING NEIGHBORHOOD AND HAVE A NO SOLICITING SIGN ON MY DOOR. Your employee rang my doorbell then knocked. Left a flyer hanging on my door. I called the company to tell them to pay attention to the signs. That person. Then turned around and text my phone. I am also on the Do not Call list. This company's harassing behavior is ridiculous.

Terrible service when it comes to after installation and there roofing crew damages home and does a shabby job installing roofing, we even upgraded and paid difference. Contacted GM over Summerville with pics and he came out and assured it would be taken care of and made right, that was in October of 2024, won’t return calls or text,voicemails. If using them, make sure you check there work

The project manager and crew were courteous and informative throughout the process and informed me upfront of what my out of pocket expenses would be before I signed an agreement. The crew that completed the roof replacement were quick and neat in cleaning up after the job. I would recommend Modern Roofing.

Just had my roof replaced by them. It's been roughly a month. They took the tarp I had on my roof, absolutely nothing wrong with the tarp either. It wasn't a cheap tarp and I was supposed to be reimbursed for the tarp still haven't seen the money for it. They keep telling me it will be there next week or I can bring it by this week. Very unprofessional to promise someone something then not deliver on your word. Oh and another thing don't expect them to submit and supplementals for other things aka solar panels to get reimbursed for that from your insurance company, it's been almost a month and nothing yet other than "oh yea we submitted one". Uh no you didn't I've spoken to the adjuster and they have received nothing. Correction now the guy I was dealing with has been let go they corrected the problem with the supplemental but only due to the fact that they called to see how my experience was after they let him go. If that has never happened I still wouldn't have the supplemental claims they said they submitted months ago. The roofers themselves got the job done effectively and efficiently. But this review is based off my experience not somebody telling me I'll get a discount for a good review.

I needed my roof replaced after a nasty storm. This was the first time I've ever had to go through insurance and I was very overwhelmed with the process. They offer to file the claim for you, with your permission, which made the whole process simple.
I had the pleasure to work with Jabari and he was amazing through the entire process. He was available to stop by if I had questions and to pick up the checks for the roof repairs, you could also drop the checks off at their office. Any time I had worries about the repairs and cost, he was available to walk me through the contract and the insurance documents to ensure I felt secure in my decision. Even if the weather delayed some work, I was always notified and kept in the loop.
I'm definitely recommending them to anyone who need a roof replaced!

Ben was Very friendly and helpful explaining the process about roof repairs and he even covered the damage area with tarps at no charge once I’m ready I will definitely give him a call awesome young man.

We needed to have a roof inspection on our house for it to be able to close in time. The previous contractor was not able to come out and we called Modern Roofing last minute to see if they could help. After speaking with Jennifer, Ben reached out 5 minutes later and was literally done with the inspection and quick fix the same day. From my initial call to completion it took less than 2 hours!! Very nice people, fast service would HIGHLY recommend!

Great overall !! Our roof was completed today after a recent hail storm and we could not be happier. Ben explained everything perfectly and led a great team and took all of the steps to complete the job thoroughly.

I contacted Modern Roofing to obtain a quote to replace my roof, fascia, and damaged wood trim around the house. They informed me that since I already had a quote, they couldn't provide one as they only work with insurance companies. I am doing my due diligence to understand costs and make an informed decision. Additionally, they warned me to be careful because some companies might give quotes and then charge for the "free" quote if I don't choose them. I'm very disappointed as I was hopeful given their good ratings.

Thank you for your response. However, I want to clarify that I requested a quote, and there was no miscommunication.
I understand that your schedule is busy, but it’s disappointing to hear that you could not communicate this and cannot provide a quote or schedule the work. This approach makes it seem like you are not interested in taking on new business.

I was pretty stressed out after losing out on an offer for my house while I was selling due to a terrible roofing job, a low quality shingle (new construction), and a recent wind storm. It was such a pleasure dealing with Ben and the Summerville Modern Roofing team. I lost some shingles from my roof in a mid January storm. Ben dealt with insurance company to start a claim and the end of February I had a new upgraded roof! Solar panels weren’t an issue. They remove them before the roof came off and reinstalled them after the new roof went on! Everyone was very professional, responsive and pleasant to work with. Definitely an A+ job!

Modern Roofing made the whole process of repairing my roof super simple. My roof was damaged right before a cross country move, and I had to do everything from out of state. They came out to the house, filed the claim with my insurance company on my behalf, and got everything worked out. Unfortunately my insurance company didn't want to replace the whole roof as recommended by Modern Roofing, but they were able to get the repairs done in a timely manner and took great care of me. The guy I was working with originally was great, but had something come up, and I was passed over to Tim who carried me over the finish line and made it happen. Highly recommend their services.

I had an issue with another roofing company dumping their debris in my yard, which resulted in an injury to one of my dogs. Steven, with Modern Roofing, stopped by with another team member and used their gear to remove the nails from my lawn. This was not their job, but they were in the area for installs on nearby homes, heard my complaint, and came over and offered to clean the area for me. I am extremely grateful to them! Thank you Modern Roofing for making the process of replacing my roof easy and carefree. They worked me with throughout the entire process, discussed my various options, and were very professional. The day of the replacement, their workers showed up on time at 8 am, got the job done by the 5 pm same day and they left with no trace of debris. They even came back a couple of days later to follow-up and to do final clean up. Just like that, my 25+ year old roof replaced with no fuss.
