My wife and I recently had the pleasure of having a new roof installed on our home by Mighty Dog Roofing. In my business I have used the services of numerous companies of various trades over nearly 30 years, to include roofers.
And I must say that the level and quality of service, professionalism and impeccable attention to detail which Brian and Katie Farrar (the owners) and their entire team deliver is nothing short of exemplary.
From the time the crew arrived onsite at 6:45 AM until the time they completed the roof install and immaculate cleanup of our property at approximately 5:00 PM, the entire job and crew ran as smoothly and efficiently as a Swiss Watch.
And Brian himself was personally up on the roof several times during the install ensuring its quality.
Even more notable than the afore mentioned, Brian, Katie and their entire staff are genuinely kind, honest, ethical, caring and compassionate people who have gone “above and beyond” and have “earned” all of our future business, as well as our recommendation to others who may be in need of the highest quality roofing / siding / gutter services, etc. in our area.

We called Mighty Dog Roofing to get an estimate for what we believed was a leak around the flashing on the pipe going into the attic. They sere the second of two companies to come out. The first explained how they would repair. He was here about 20 minutes. However, Michael from Mighty Dog spent over an hour, first going into the attic before the roof. After thoroughly checking everything he assured us that there was no leak anywhere; that the flashing and boot were completely sealed and there was no moisture anywhere. We so appreciate his honesty.

Mighty Dog did a very good job repairing our roof. So far everything is satisfactory and the cost was fair. The job was completed in a courteous & very timely manner. I highly recommend Mighty Dog to anyone who wants to get the job done right.

Michael Sheffield came in this morning 5/20/2024. He was very courteous, on point at assessing the roof. He went straight to work going in several rooms in my house check in the attic and in the crawlspace seeing if we had any leaks or mold everywhere couldn’t find anything in there. Went on top of the roof to assess the problem. Came back with his manager, they both went on the roof, saw a few issues and sealed it up. Brian Farrar and his team are top notch. From high level, timely, communication to high level execution, you can't ask for more from a roofing company. I've had a share of my own experiences with less than reputable roofers and the level of professionalism this outfit exudes is noticeable. They came out to see if I needed a new roof, did a complete inspection, took photos and then came down and walked me through things I should be on look out for, and had the integrity that I was good for now, when many others might have said differently. I reached out to Zack with Mighty Dog Roofing after I had to cancel my roofing contract with a different company. From the time he came to give me an estimate until install was less than a week. The crew was onsite at 6:45am & stayed until almost 8pm to get the job done. Everything was great & they did an amazing job cleaning up. I love my new roof; I now have the best looking house in the neighborhood!

I had my roof replaced by Mighty Dog Roofing of Hampton Roads in March, 2024 and I only have good things to say about this company. From the beginning to the end of the process, the sales Rep (Zack Bowen) was there to guide me through each step. He inspected my old roof, gave me options for replacement, and explained the financing options as well. Whenever I called Zack or anyone in the office, they promptly responded and addressed any questions or concerns that I had. On the day of installation of the roof, Zack was there with the installers all day. They arrived around 7 am and were finished by 3. Zack even took the time to walk around my yard at the end of the day to make sure that no nails or other debris was still in the grass.
I really appreciate a company that does a quality job in a professional manner and at a fair price. Thanks Mighty Dog. I am very happy with the choice I made and will recommend your company to anyone who needs roofing work.

We had a small leak that we thought was a skylight. Mighty Dog evaluated and diagnosed the leak was from a split shingle. The Mighty dog team repaired the area swiftly and professionally before the next rain shower. Thank you for taking good care of our home

Mighty Dog recently did our roof and did a great Job. I felt like they were the perfect balance between not being too big (to the point where they don’t care about you) nor too small (to the point where they don’t have the resources to properly help you). Zach gave us our quote, but was also at the job site to make sure the job was done well.

They came out to do an estimate quickly when we discovered some damage during an interior renovation. The quote was fair from the start, and when they were able to adjust the scope of work, they were fair in reducing our balance. Great workers and customer service.

I had a 2800sqft horse barn with a tin roof (corrugated metal)and skylights. The skylights needed to be replaced as well as pieces of tin that had come loose from original nails needed to be tacked down. It was very hard to find a roof company that was familiar with tin roofs or was even interested in the job.Ethan came out and did a thorough inspection. Brian got back with me and worked out an idea to help with cost by replacing skylights at the top and tin at the bottom. These guys had it done in a day and used screws with rubber seals to tighten my whole roof.I was extremely pleased with the work and the reasonable price. The overall performance of Mighty Dog Roofing is worthy of 5 Stars. It started with the first phone call I made to schedule an appointment for the estimate. Mighty Dog Roofing was the second of 4 recommendations that I contacted. The first company, which I will not name, immediately informed me that they could not come out to provide an estimate unless my wife was present. So that was an easy thank you for your business, bye. The associate on the phone with Mighty Dog Roofing was professional and promptly scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, the representative, Zachery, arrived on time. He was respectful of my property and didn't object to wearing a mask during the visit. I informed him that my wife had cancer and just recently had surgery. Zachery was also very professional and extremely thorough explaining the choices. While he was conducting his inspection, he identified a damaged vinyl siding which he stated he would repair while installing the roof. Within a couple of days after deciding to use Mighty Dog Roofing, the roofers were on site completing the job. The work was completed in a timely manner and I only had a small issue with one of my security cameras being damaged. One of the roofers accidentally broke the security camera bracket and the back of the solar panel.

The exist inspection was completed by a representative name Brian. He too was very professional. I explained to him about the broken bracket and he offered to pay for the replacement. I initially declined the offer because it was only $20 to replace. I ordered the part from Amazon. However, when I went to put the new bracket on, that is when I realized the back of the solar panel had been broken off as well. I had to order a new solar panel which cost me another $26.99. I'm waiting for that part so I can replace the damaged panel. I did inform Zachery what I discovered and asked if I could be reimbursed for the replacement parts. Within minutes I was told that they would reimburse me and within a couple of hours Zachery was at my front door with a check to pay for the damages.

This was one of the most delightful experiences I've ever had with a business from start to finish. I definitely didn't view Mighty Dog Roofing doing anything negative. Even the small property damage wasn't bad. Things happen.

Great communication throughout the entire process. I needed a new roof quickly and they delivered! Even being out of state I felt comfortable from start to finish. The initial inspection pictures were a great help in making my decision. I trusted their recommendation to replace the entire roof, and glad I did, because they found and provided more pictures of multiple places with rotting decking. Very pleased with everything!

As a home seller, we ordered up a roof inspection and evaluation from Mighty Dog Roofing. They were very flexible with scheduling and helping us on our quickened timeline. Brian and his team were super responsive and helped fix my roof leak right away without trying to replace my entire roof. It was a complex area of my roof where a ton of water was converging in one spot, and he helped ensure that the proper gutters and downspouts were installed so storm water is managed appropriately moving forward.
