Disappointed in the way employees show “customer service” at this location. They neglected to ensure their products were properly priced. I simply was trying to purchase a dog toy and it was on the shelf for $8.99. Rang up $16.99. I showed her where I found it. The sticker said “alligator”… it was an alligator dog toy. She said “it’s not the same alligator toy and the skus don’t match”. Since when are customers responsible for examining and comparing sku #s when shopping? Keep in mind, there was nowhere on the entire wall of dog toys for a “different alligator” priced at $16.99. She said “is there something else you wanted for $9?”… I laughed and said “um no, if you won’t price match it due to the stores error of a pricing error, then I’m not purchasing it”. She said “yeah, I’m not doing that!”

Off I went and didn’t purchase anything.

It’s not the price that matters, it’s the way she handled it and refused to acknowledge “the customer is always right” spirit. I’ve been in retail, and I can guarantee where I come from, we would have price matched and then corrected the issue.

Do better, ACE Marysville.

I went to this specific store because I knew exactly what I wanted. This is the 2nd Stihl yard machine I’ve purchased from here. The first time, the gentleman was friendly l, helpful and seem genuinely happy to help. This time around, it seemed like I was inconveniencing the associate. He didn’t really explain much to me..just rang me up and that was it. The item was on sale, but I also had a reward coupon. He rang in the coupon but it came up $0 off. Again, no explanation. I had to go to the front desk for them to tell me I couldn’t use it on a sale item. I usually rave about this Ace location, but this time around I will think twice about going.

I really like this hardware store and the people that work there. They greet you when you come and go. It’s so much like buying from friends than one of the colder big box stores like Home Depot or Lowes.

This is one of my favorite hardware store in Ohio I have never seen so much variety choose from hardware tools cards household items the staff very helpful it reminds of old days mom and pop stores this is my first time going to hardware store like that it made my day I was so happy I want keep coming back even though it's hr ten minute drive definitely worth it

Beautiful place that has everything! Only place we could find sleds!! Love the family store versus big box stores. Nice people too!

I needed a key for my buick and they had it, cut it and then programmed it . Very friendly staff.

This might seem like a weird review for a hardware store, once I head off on the tangent I am going to, but they carry nice tool brands, and the staff is incredibly helpful. The tangent I am headed on is to say if you enjoy grilling or smoking meat and the like they have a very nice selection of rubs and bbq sauces. I really enjoy Meat Church rubs and the like and they carry them. The staff in the rental area is very helpful as well and it is really nice when you just need a tool or something for a day that you can go here and rent it rather then either dumping a bunch of money on a tool you will rarely use, or going harbor freight and potentially getting a tool that will frustrate you.

Bought a new Stihl chainsaw yesterday evening. The young man in the power tool section was professional, courteous, helpful, and worked with me to understand the best saw for our usage and the best price.

While serving me, he swiftly helped a table rental customer unload several round tables.

They didn't have what I needed today, but I can tell you from past experiences that locally owned businesses are far superior to the box stores! McAuliffe's Ace Hardware always has exceptional customer service and willingness to help.

So much to see and so little time to see it. This is a wonderful place to visit and the people immediately make you feel at home.

MCauliffe's ACE store is a great place to shop. Good help, clean store, very good prices and easy to get in, shop and leave.

This store has a little bit of everything. If you are after that one of a kind screw, bolt, or cabinet hardware, there is no other place. Some of the older gentlemen that work there can take you right to what you're looking for. On the way out by the registers you can even pick up a gift and Der Dutchman pastries, yummy.

Great hardware company staff is always friendly store is always perfect condition and the rental hardware side is amazing cheaper then most hardware stores and the staff is very helpful we've used them multiple time including for our wedding seating and popcorn machine!

I've been going to McAuliffe's Ace for 24 years, mostly to rent earth moving equipment. The recent change in the rental department staff, with these 20 something C@%T$, that have never worked a labor or construction job in their life that think they know more about construction than a 40 year licensed contractor is appalling. Today I called to rent an excavator for a week, but he said it had to be back in 5 days....the little C@%T, said I would have to pay the daily rate instead of the weekly rate, because it costs more. Go to SunBelt Rentals.

Unlike the big box stores, I found the salespeople very knowledgeable and helpful. The prices were competitive, and McAuliffe' s services most of the products they sell on site.

Never gone in but they let the Schmiddt's Sausage truck park there so I love them for this. If I needed hardware stuff I'd definitely give them my business for that alone.

We drove from Beavercreek to this location because they were the only Ace that carried the brand of soil that we were looking for. A very nice store and a friendly and helpful staff!

This is one of the larger aces I've ever been to. Staff was friendly and helpful. If I'm ever in the area again I would return.

Stopped in to pick up grilling supplies. They had plenty of options and stock. Staff interaction was friendly and helpful. Great team.

Friendly folks that will always go out of their way to help you find the right plumbing fitting or thread on the bolt you need. If you can't find it elsewhere, they will find it for you here.
