Legacy Restoration completed my roofing job due to previous hail damage and winds. They endured everything was done correctly, followed thru on phone calls and went above and beyond to make sure all was done correctly and timely. They also worked with me on my last form of payments. Would highly recommend this company for your roofing needs!

Had a great experience with Legacy! There were there the same day that we had damage and they communicated efficiently! Calvin did a great job explaining the process. Kolin was respectful of the property and was promt in his reasons time. Our insurance was frustrating but Devin did a great job of trying to work through that. All in all a great experience!

From the beginning to the end they were great to work with. Leviticus helped us walk through all the insurance ins and outs. The work done was great and I have no complaints.

Around the end of September 2024 we had an hail storm in our area. For some reason I never gave it a lot of thought until I seen a man checking out the roof of my neighbor and it made me think. Maybe this was more than I originally thought. Digging into it a bit further we discovered the man was John Hicki, Sales Rep. with Legacy Restoration. We asked if he might come to our house and have a look to see if we had any damage. Our 3 year old roof was fine, but he did discover damage to our siding. John filed an insurance claim for us and our Insurance Company set a time to meet with Kolin Raub, Legacys Field Rep. The insurance agreed to work out a claim and next thing we know Kolin and the insurance Company are out here going over everything from top to bottom. Basics were agreed upon. About a week later Devin Hilgenberg, Project Manager for Legacy was here to get what information he needed to order the siding and all the necessary parts that with go with that and for us to pick out the colors. Devin gave us all the information we would need and answered all our qustions. Some questions had to be answered a few times so I could make sure I understood. Devin was very patient and gave us all the time we needed making decisions. Just a great guy. The installation was scheduled for mid-December to be completed in 4-5 days. Everything arrived early and with our permission of course, Devin had his crew were out here and had the job complete before Thanksgiving in 2 days. Devin's crew were absolutely AMAZING. Job well done by everyone involved. Would definitaly work with these guys again.

Kolin checked my roof,took pictures,and contacted my insurance company. He got it approved and my agent contacted me. Devin came to my home and explained how they would take care of everything. They did a great job and my insurance covered everything. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a great experience with the remodeling project from Legacy. They keep me informed during the project and cleaned up the work site every day when they were done. Devin Hilgenberg was very helpful along with Calvin Bright and Kolin Raub. they were informative and took care of everything for me. Thanks for the great job.

I had storm damage in May 2024. I contacted legacy restoration and Devin Hilgenberg was my project manager. He was extremely helpful in the process. Showed urgency to get my exposed roof covered to prevent more damage. Devin is the reason I used legacy restoration. He was very helpful in showing me my options and keeping me informed.

Following a storm this past spring, I was able to have Kolin and Devin from Legacy respond quickly to our call for my parents Doug and Peggy Rohde and go check on the roof and siding. While they didn’t end up needing the repair, they were very speedy in getting back to us and aided in challenging their insurance. Would highly recommend them!

Legacy was in our neighborhood following a tornado in the area. I worked with Devin Hilgenberg - he was extremely helpful in explaining every step of the restoration process, from inspection, to material choices, and to actual work. He was also very understanding about a frustrating insurance situation that made the process take a lot longer than it needed to. He and his crew were great advocates for us, as well, when it came to making sure our insurance also covered everything that needed coverage - including ensuring that our house's siding matched on all sides.

Devin was also very responsive to concerns I had, as well as some minor issues following all of the house repairs. He was able to get a crew out the next day, who immediately found the origin of the problem and had it repaired by the week's end.

Overall, I was pleased with the experience and with Devin's professional attitude, helpful advice and insight, and patience as our insurance was dragging their feet with their end of the situation. I would recommend Legacy to anyone who needed their services!

Jimmie Smith getting everything approved. The team was very efficient and fast with their work despite the freezing cold conditions. I was very satisfied with the work Brent Murphy and his team did. These guys are fantastic!! I could not be happier with the entire process. Calvin Bright got me set up and did the free roof inspection and was able to not only point out the damage to the roof but was also able to go inside and look in a closet area pointing out damage to the drywall. He was able to find this from just looking at the ceiling. The price could not be beat either. Thank you guys so much I really appreciate it!!

Legacy was great to work with. Scheduling went easy, they worked with my insurance and make things move smoothly. I would recommend.

Would never do business with them again. Took months to get work done. They added roof when one wasn't needed. Went $9000. Over the cost of what insurance was willing to pay. Had to get a loan for $6000 to cover the cost of the work. After they left nails and debree all over the yard and driveway.

Legacy Restoration was 5 star in every way from the initial estimate to the final walk through. Their team was always there to answer questions and help with our insurance claim. I do not recommend Legacy Restoration due to unexpected additional costs. I’m sharing my experience to inform others so they can avoid a similar situation.

Legacy Restoration approached me after a storm, offering to inspect my roof and gutters for damage. Initially, I didn’t think my home had any damage, but I let them check, and they found what they said was significant damage. They communicated well with me and my insurance company and were able to get my roof and gutters fully covered after sending a sample of my roof for evaluation. I was required to pay my $1,500 deductible, and everything else was covered.

Before work began, I signed paperwork indicating that if there were gaps between the wood panels in my roof, additional costs might apply. Fortunately, no issues arose with the roof, and the work was completed without additional charges.

However, during the gutter installation, the team said a fascia board needed replacement due to rot. I called my company representative to confirm that the new board would match my home’s existing white finish. I was assured it would either be painted or wrapped white. When the job was finished, the fascia board was left as untreated wood, which did not match my house.

When I followed up, I was apologized to by the same representative via text message and that they would “ensure someone addresses the issue and gets it matched to the original color”. The following day, I received a phone call from another representative that painting or wrapping the board would cost an estimate of $700 for the front and $700 for the back of the house, which was never disclosed to me before the work began. After I expressed my concerns, they offered to “discount” the wrapping cost to $323 for the front and $323 for the back but refused to cover it entirely, claiming they were already doing me a favor by not charging me for the replaced wood.

While I was initially happy with the insurance process and the quality of the roof work, this unexpected expense and miscommunication have left me disappointed. My home now looks unfinished unless I pay an additional $646 out-of-pocket for work I was led to believe would be included.

For anyone considering Legacy Restoration, I recommend clarifying upfront what is included in the job and getting all costs in writing to avoid unexpected charges.

Legacy stopped by our house after a summer hail storm and offered to check our roof for damage. There was damage and they worked with my insurance company to get the work done and I just had to pay my deductible. They were fast & efficient doing the work and cleaned up my yard very well when they were finished. Very happy with their work!
After everything was complete there ended up being a small balance (over my deductible amount) that hadn’t been paid. It took a few calls to my insurance company & Legacy but it was eventually taken care of by insurance.

We had the best experience with Legacy after hail damage to our roof during some storms. Every single person we worked with (from the Project Manager to the Field Inspector to the billing department) was so helpful, kind, and very knowledgeable. They all took the time to answer questions, anticipate our needs, and communicate the process every step of the way. They even navigated all the communication with our insurance company, which was such a relief. The workers were professional and skilled and they thoroughly cleaned the yard when they were done -- we've truly only found a few nails so far, which is impressive! We highly recommend Legacy!

Like others, we also allowed Legacy to do a free estimate after a door-to-door/neighborhood solicitation, and like others mentioned, they took a bunch of pictures showing "much hail damage." But we backed out of signing the contract THANK GOODNESS and had both our insurance adjuster and our regular roofer take a look, with no hail damage being the outcome. Beware of these canvassing tactics from Legacy!! No wonder insurance rates are where they are!!

I allowed Legacy to do a free estimate after a door-to-door solicitation. I watched as they inspected the roof in the front of my house, they took at least 15 pictures and never went to the back. They said the damage was extensive and showed me a picture. If I signed some papers, they would work directly with our insurance company to get a total roof replacement. Surprised by their findings, I inspected the roof myself and found 3 spots in a small area where hail had hit. Fortunately, I am able to climb a ladder and have construction knowledge.

At first I was skeptical with the process of a roof inspection, dealing with making a claim thru insurance. Cody Riebhoff made all that go away. By talking thruly every step on how it all works and making me trust the process.

One month ago this company put a roof on my home!! It had NO leaks. It now has a huge amount of damage throughout my upstairs and my main floor due to their lousy work! My home was to be listed for sale this week and I will likely not be able to purchase my new home because I now can’t sell this one at this time. Beyond disgusted and furious! ZERO stars!

I had a great experience with Legacy. Devin Hilgebgerg walked me through the process for my rig replacement and made sure that all my questions were answered before leaving. My roof was replaced in a timely manner. The site manager, whom I do not remember his name, made sure to talk to me throughout the build with updates which was much appreciated. The builders made sure to clean up every bit of material and I was pleased that I didn’t even find any nails from the tear off laying on the ground. This will be the FOURTH time they solicited my front door. I have advised them that I rent the house and to stop coming JUST for someone else to show up at my door the next day. This is absolutely ridiculous and absurd at this point. I understand marketing but if you were told 4 times the same thing WHY SHOW UP AGAIN!

Legacy Restoration just finished putting new shingles on my house and garage. My service representative, Cody Riebhoff, helped me during the entire process and kept me updated along the way. He was very easy to work with. The roofers were here and got right to work. Not sure they even took much of a lunch break. The job site supervisor, Grant Carter, checked in first thing when they got here and checked in again before he left. I had his cell phone number in case I had questions so I wouldn’t even have to leave my house to reach him

Legacy Restoration & salesman Dan Nesbitt contacted us late this fall on hail damage they were repairing on other homes in our neighborhood from several hail storms in 2023. Upon Dan’s visual inspection of our roof, it was confirmed that there was significant hail damage on our home as well. Dan Nesbitt walked us through the shingle selection and insurance process and we were able to get our roof replaced in early December while we still had reasonable temperatures. The crew showed up on a Thursday around noon and had our home completely stripped, felted and shingled by dark on the next day, Friday. Some of the crew came back around noon on Saturday to clean up nails & shingle debris in the yard. Legacy, Dan & the Team did a flawless job on replacing our shingles. I would not hesitate to recommend Dan & the Legacy Team to assist with any of your roofing needs. Thanks for your timely completion of our project.

My house was hit by a hailstorm that was once in a generation. After the storm I assessed the damage to my home, and it was extensive. The following day I saw what turned out to be my future contractor looking at damage on my neighbor's home. I asked him to come over and have a look at my home after he was finished. We had some hiccups with the roofing crew and them not keeping promises. As well as having our main guy changed 3 separate times. Fortunately, when those concerns were brought to Legacy’s attention, things were made right in a big way. The big boss came out and cleaned up what mess he could, scheduled a repair on a spot that wasn’t done by original crew and they sent the CUTEST basket as an apology. Extremely impressed with how things were handled throughout even with the hiccups. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Not to mention, our roof looks AMAZING!!

These guys have solicitated at my door 3 times in just a matter of months. I have made VERY clear that I am uninterested, yet they return. Trying to drum up business. I refuse to allow them to inspect my roof, as I don’t trust them not to damage it just to get a customer! Today when they came knocking I informed them that I will contact the police (harassment and trespassing) if they return. It's not enough to be told "no" twice.. they keep coming back. Zero trust in LEGACY!!

From a recent "catastrophic hail storm" that rocked the Des Moines area recently I used Legacy Restoration LLC as the company to help repair the damage we sustained to our roof and gutters/downspouts which required a full tear out and replacement installation. Our service rep Kalunda Cuffy was excellent in coordinating between us and our insurance and their adjustors at every step in the process. Really made it easy for us to know what was going to happen and when, despite all the various forms that were necessary to be signed. The work done was flawless. We used to get leaks from ice/melt/re-freeze even prior to the hail storm, but now that is 100% rectified because of this service. 10/10 I highly recommend both Legacy and Kalunda.

Legacy Restoration did a great job on replacing our shingles & rain gutters on our home. They were very quick, (1 day) To replace all the shingles &rain gutters and they cleaned up after as well. I would recommend this company if someone else needed these kind of repairs on their home. The salesman Kalunday Cuffy was a great help in getting everything situated so that the whole process went very smooth.

We hired Legacy Restoration to replace our roof because of some storm damage. The service rep they sent out was Joe Berg and Joe was wonderful to work with. He was very professional, always answered his phone when we called him and always explained any questions we had. He even stopped by our house one night after he got off work to answer a question we had and to make sure we were happy with the work being performed. Legacy did a great job of replacing our roof. They were on time every day, performed the work needed and did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day. And best of all, Legacy worked with our insurance company to set a price for replacing our roof. We just initiated the claim and Legacy took it from there.

Nicolas Wipple was very professional and kept us updated on how things were come along. The crew that installed the roof was on time and very polite.

Over priced Storm chasers. If I could do less than 1 star I would. Toddler left unattended in work zone, cigarette buts all over the yard. Tell you one thing and do the complete opposite. Roofing nails not picked up. Left gate open so dogs could get out. The list is long. Please saver yourself time, money and frustration and pass on this company.

Our roof installation was an all-around good experience. The meeting with Service Rep Andrew Ketcham to work out the details, the delivery of the materials, and the actual installation all went smoothly. The crew did a very professional job, cleaned up well when all done with the roof, and completed the job in a single day. (Yay.) An inspector came out and inspected everything up on the roof and verified that all was done right. We're very pleased with the results.
