  • One of their door to door guys still came by and rang my doorbell. I'm not well, getting up and down... to answer the door every time one of these door to door guys ignore my sign is so aggravating.
  • The guy said he saw it and apologized, I’m sure he hates his job, he didn’t seem sincere at all.
  • Hope they can find some new advertising tactics. These neighborhoods are getting sick and tired of door to door salesmen.

I had my roof replaced with hail damage with the help of Interstate Roofing. When I first had my roof replaced, they upgraded it to code and everything went smoothly. Even through the summer thunderstorms, there were no issues, but in late November, my master bedroom ceiling started to develop water damage and mold growth. I went up to the attic to look for the leak and discovered that the insulation on the water heater flue in the attic was wet, so I figured it was the flue-to-roof joint and filed a warranty claim. Interstate Roofing quickly contacted me and said they fixed it. However, the water damaged ceiling started to develop mold growth again and started to leak again, and the nightmare began again. I went up to the attic again to look for the leak and discovered that the water was leaking at the water heater flue joint. To fix this, I spent over 10 hours in the attic taping the joints with flame retardant aluminum tape, flipping the wet insulation inside out, etc., but nothing worked. On a cold December winter day, I had to climb up on the roof of my two-story house to see what the problem was. When the hail damage occurred on the roof, the damaged flue cap was also repaired. When I got up on the roof, the flue cap was screwed all the way down to the end of the flue. My flue is a 4" size, but Interstate Roofing replaced the 4" cap with a larger 5-8" flue cap. During this process, according to the installation manual, it should be inserted only to the stop tab and then secured, but because of their large size, they did not properly secure the tab and just pushed it all the way in and secured it with the screw. This caused the exhaust to be almost completely blocked, so the combustion gases could not escape, but were trapped in the chimney, creating a leak due to condensation in the cold winter weather. For the first 10 months while the roof was installed and repaired, the combustion gases from the water heater were not vented out, but were coming into the house, and I had to breathe dirty air. If the CO gas had been generated due to incomplete combustion, it could have been a major accident.
I am concerned about the mold on the inside of the wall that is not visible to the outside. I have contacted Interstate Roofing to check and repair this and request compensation, but have not heard back yet.
In conclusion, they are very good and professional in fixing roofs that have hail damage, but they have a big problem with flue-related repairs other than the roof. They did not find any problems even during the first warranty service, and it was only when I told them exactly what the problem was that they properly fixed the chimney cap. I would recommend Interste Roofing if you only need to fix your roof, but if you need additional repairs, I would recommend looking for a more professional company.

These guys did a great job. My project manager, Jen, was the most on top of it person I have worked with on all the home projects that I have had done and I don't say that lightly. Jen took care of everything with the insurance company and made sure that we got every dollar that was due to us for the project.

This was a large project and they had the entire project completed in two days and even came back weeks later to make sure that everything was good. The guys finished after dark and were using flashlights to make sure not a single piece of debris was left behind.

I would not listen to any of the people who gave bad reviews.....none of them even had work completed on their homes.

Recently I and my son worked with Norman Neff in securing a new roof to replace my old hail damaged wood shingles. Norm did an outstanding job as Project Manager for the installation of our class 4 roofing project.

He did a very thorough assessment of the hail damage not only on the roof and skylights, but also on an outbuilding and siding on the house itself. He worked so well with the insurance adjuster I received full coverage of the loss, which enabled me to select a beautiful 4A roof.

Mr Neff took care of everything from our first visit until the job was finished. During the installation he constantly checked on the progress of the work crew. It went so well our new roof was finished ahead of schedule.

I highly recommend Norman Neff to anyone considering a new roof and would be happy to speak to that person. This statement was intended to be a 5 star rave review and I hope I managed to do so.

We recently worked with Norman Neff to replace our roof after a major hail storm last summer and he has made the process a breeze. We had had our roof replaced only 6 years ago with a different company and working with them versus Norman at Interstate Roofing has been night and day. From the initial visit, Norman took the time to talk to us about our options, the materials, and even suggested a slight change to some of the roofing materials to improve the look of our house. We have been very happy with the work that Norman and his team have delivered and we'd recommend their services to others.

Many people have referred me to this company so I went to go see the people who work in office to see if they were a legit company located here although it’s a small office it’s filled with a wonderful staff and plenty of sample products Dan Carlon the GM made the process sound very easy and definitely put my suspicions at ease

Interstate Roofing put a shake roof on my home in 2012 . They went beyond the call of duty by getting my insurance company to approve full replacement because my house was an historic home. Recently they contacted me after some hail in my home town to see if I needed repairs. They came out looked at the roof and signed off that all was in order and no repairs or replacement was needed. I greatly appreciate the follow up and their conscientious service. I appreciated the help form both Art Davis and Larry Reister

Property damage to the most expensive investment I've ever made was a daunting experience. As a first-time home owner I didn't know who I could trust to call.
Luckily one of their professional canvassers stopped by, because several of the homes in my area were also badly damaged by the hail storm.
The gentleman who oversaw my roof repair was knowledgeable, accessible, and thorough. When they found more damage than the insurance company saw I was grateful to have someone to advocate for me. Where my insurance company tried to cut corners Interstate Roofing made sure the job was done right.
Future roof damage is inevitable, now I know who I can trust a call.

I have a NO SOLICITING sign on my door here in Fort Collins, and one of their door to door guys still came by and rang my doorbell. I’m not well, getting up and down and going downstairs to answer the door every time one of these door to door guys ignore my sign is so aggravating.
Not to mention against the law in Fort Collins.
The guy said he saw it and apologized, I’m sure he hates his job, he didn’t seem sincere at all, who wouldn’t hate that job?
Hope they can find some new advertising tactics. These neighborhoods are getting sick and tired of door to door salesmen.

This company is spectacular! They work extremely hard to ensure that all levels of storm-damage get paid for by insurance, and then they get the work done. Interstate carries the top levels of certifications from all of the major roofing-materials manufacturers, and they've got the best kinds of warranties available, as a result. I found them to be extremely knowledgeable, hard-working, friendly, and easy to deal with. If you ask me, there's a reason they're the largest roofing company in Colorado. . .which also means that they're local, they're not just storm-chasers who show up, take people's money or insurance checks, and then disappear back to Oklahoma or wherever else. They are Colorado-owned and Colorado-proud!

Ive known the owner of this company for 15 years. They are the biggest and best contractor in the state for a reason! They get stuff done! Google them and look for their "Roofs in Need" program. Interstate has taken care of me and I would't recommend anyone else!

This company has made my life hell for the last couple of months. They were contracted by my condo complex to first roof, then power wash, then paint our complex. The obvious problems that go along here are that they are loud (shouting from roof to roof), messy (moving property and not returning it to where it came from), rude (cussing, albeit in Spanish), but that comes with the territory and is not what made me write this review.

The roofing process started and I received a frustrated phone call about my cars being parked around my house. No notice was given that cars needed to be moved from near the house. Only that cars needed to be removed from car ports and garages. Lucky for me, my roommate works about 5 minutes away from where I live and is allowed to leave work with about a 30 minute notice.

This brings up another problem. They loaded our complex up with their equipment, their cars, and then asked us to empty our garages and driveways. There were times where I had to park on the access street to the neighborhood where the employees of interstate could have easily parked.

Then came the power washing. The base level was beautifully done but, the second story was sloppy at best. I was left with cob webs on the underside of my roof and messy windows. I do not know if it is residue from the soap in the power washer or what it is but my windows were worse off than when they started. Also, due to the gap at the bottom of my garage dirt and grime was kicked up onto my $30k race/show car. This I can forgive but some warning would be nice.

The final issue came today. They first put out flyers that stated they would start painting as early as 10/5, and that all my "personnel" property needed to be inside. Spelling issues aside, this meant moving my garaged car out onto an already over crowded street so that I could put my lawn furniture in the garage and then I had to move my grill into my living room. Then, a week later, I was notified that they would start work on 10/12. I came home from work on 10/12, and 10/13 to find out no work had been done. Finally on 10/14 I came home to a taped off house, still no work but hey, it was taped off. Then came today, 10/15, my front door was taped off so I could not enter, then when I went to the rear door came the best surprise of all. I had one of the employees standing in my doorway, with the door open, when I said excuse me he just let me in, didn't ask who I was, I could have been someone with the intent to rob the place and he would have gladly let me in. There was no notice to the home owners that these workers would be entering the homes. No permission granted. Frustrated I walked up to get my mail where I encountered the site manager. He apologized and stated that "if some one is home" they are supposed to ask permission and that it was to eliminate lines in the door frame. I have a cat who, thank god, after about 10 minutes of searching I found but could have easily bolted out the door that was standing open. All of this on top of feeling violated because someone entered my home without my permission and without any notice. If either my roommate or I were dog sitting for relatives this would have been a much worse situation. I have not inventoried my house yet but I do intend to. I trust that nothing was stolen however, the fact that the door was, quite litterally, standing open for someone to come in, grab lets say, my camera, acting as me, and then leave, or any number of other things of value.
