We just had our roof done and worked with Charlie. He walked us through the entire process including the initial call with insurance. He has great customer service skills, keeping the customers needs in mind first and was not a pushy sales person. They were able to get us on the schedule and completed quickly once we had the approval from our insurance.

These guys were great, from first contact to final clean up. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and organized. Henry and his crew noticed the tarp I'd installed after a recent hail storm, did a free inspection and showed me the pics/video, contacted my insurance company to initiate the claim, and ensured everything was squared away before build day. Charlie with Interstate is amazing! From his compassion, knowing we were dealing with damage from Hurricane Helene, he made sure to show he cared about what we were going through. His crew was clean and cleaned up after the job was complete. We have dogs, so making sure no nails or debris was a must. They didnt have to be asked. I received top notch customer service from Derek Dodge. I was already talking to Best Choice Roofing to get my roof fixed. Derek showed up one day around 5:30pm, convinced us to kick out Best Choice Roofing and let Interstate Roofing take over. Derek and crew did really good job. Our home looks lot better now. I wanted to take a moment to leave a review of our experience with Interstate Roofing in Atlanta, and particularly our project manager Derek Dodge. Our roof was damaged by Hurricane Helena and while initially we were hesitant to use a non-local company, I am really glad we decided to go with them.

Derek went up on our roof and did a thorough inspection, He then met with our insurance adjuster at 8 in the morning a few days later and showed him everything he found. I'm convinced that his experience helped the adjuster in concluding a new roof should be covered. We got confirmation that the roof would be covered in full that same night.

Derek then walked us through color options and described what the process would be with the install crew, the cleanup process ect. It was less than two weeks and our new roof was scheduled. Be prepared for a very early knock on the door on roof day.

We also had some extra steps we needed to take with our mortgage servicer. Derek was very helpful in getting his team to help us get past these hurdles.

Everything Derek said, and committed to, occurred just like he promised. We are very happy with the work that was done. While I cannot speak for all the project managers at Interstate, I can promise you that you can feel very good about having Derek Dodge as your project manager. - Phyllis Endres

The entire experience was exceptional. The company contact Bryant Lay went above and beyond. Crew did a great job from start to finish.

My roof was getting old (20 years since last roof installed) and I was dreading the replacement cost as I could not see any damage due to wind from the recent storms. I personally clean the gutters regularly. Getting on my roof is easy and it is not a steep slope anywhere. No big deal. But, GETTING a new roof installed most certainly IS a big deal. Or I thought it was.

One day the doorbell rang and Charlie VanMeter was standing there, said he was doing another roof around the corner from me and noticed my roof and the wind damage on it. Something about his calm, confident manner clicked with me. I said, "You're #14." He smiled and said he had heard that before, but that I "still had wind damage". I said, "Show me."

He looked kind of startled but said OK. (Said later he rarely has any owners get up on their roofs). He started showing me all the wind damaged shingles and once I knew what to look for (I thought the damage would be torn or missing shingles), they were everywhere. Charlie was very familiar with what all the insurance companies required for roof replacement and about how much they would cover based on the age of the roof. He also showed me the weather records with the historical wind speeds in my area. I then asked him point blank how confident he was that my claim would go thru. He immediately said, "Very.".

He explained the process and how it would unfold (and exactly as it did unfold) over the next few weeks, scheduling an adjuster from the insurance company to come out and do an assessment, the insurance company's letter, scheduling with the winter weather, delivery of materials, the ONE DAY install and clean up, and removal of leftover materials and debris.

The crew arrived at about 6:30 AM, still dark out, and got to work. They spread tarps completely around the house, over flowers, shrubs, deck, porch, AC units, driveway, everything. They stripped the old roof completely, down to the plywood, repaired a couple of damaged places, built a cricket behind the chimney, installed drip edges (not there before) all around, installed ridge vents, power vents, vapor barrier and valley shields. Everything was straight, clean and even and the overall workmanship was excellent.

If you have ever experienced a roof replacement you know one of the biggest issues/headaches is the CLEANUP; pieces of old shingles, nails, wrappers, nails, water bottles, and nails will be everywhere and found later in the grass and shrubs for days, weeks and months afterward. These guys did an excellent job of cleanup. Four guys were crawling around on their hands and knees with big magnets, scouring the grass and under the shrubs. I've only found a few scraps of old roofing and a hand full of nails in the downspouts. I'm VERY pleased with that.

The entire experience was not just painless but enjoyable. Charlie was excellent to work with, explained everything and was exactly correct with how everything would happen. He visited several times during the install and took pictures of it all. He also returned several days later to do a walk-thru. The crew was amazing to watch; no one had to tell anyone what needed to be done, they just did it like a well rehearsed team.

THANK YOU, Charlie, for a job very well done. The out-of-pocket cost was less than expected and the process was much easier with someone who knows what is reasonable to expect and how to get it done. EXCELLENT workmanship by the crew, too!!

I usually don’t do business with people who knock on my door, but Charlie VanMeter was so professional and seemed so knowledgeable that I let him inspect my roof. He showed me pictures of my roof damage and called my insurance company right then. My insurance company approved and I had a new roof within a week. Charlie kept me informed every step of the process and the crew did a great job and cleaned up everything before they left. I can’t say enough good things about Charlie. Charlie handled getting an approval from State Farm for having a new roof installed vs. just repairing our roof after going back and forth for 2 mos with SF.
The work was totally completed by his team in 1 day and they handled getting the check signed by the mortgage company and his knowledge of roofing and the entire process was great and he is a true professional in every way. Plus we was very responsive to all emails and phone calls.
Plus, he actually came out with a technician to look at the roof and prepared a video for the insurance company to convince them that we indeed needed a new roof vs just a repair of some shingles …..

Interstate Roofing did a great job on my roof. So many roofers have approached me to assist with my roof that had tons of weather damage and I they didn’t give me confidence I needed to move forward. Then I met Charlie with Interstate and his knowledge and expertise was unmatched. His follow through and customer service was great. His crew was amazingly fast and did a great job on my roof. Henry and another man approached me at home nearly 2 months ago. I tried to avoid the sales attempt but Henry refused to take a no...he kept saying he knew his way around to get my particular insurance to approve the claim where others failed. I've had quite a few roofing companies no show and I have a current leak that needs addressing so against my better judgment I gave Henry a chance. He kept saying he'd be with me every step of the way yet it would be hours or days for responses that my insurance company needed asap. Henry NEVER came for either roof inspection and when I communicated with him that I needed a tarp to prevent additional damage and to avoid my claim being denied per the inspector from my insurance company he did nothing. The man Henry sent for the exterior inspection was fully made aware of the current leak which was active as it rained a good part of July and I was told they'd wait for the approval from insurance before taking any measures.
My claim was fully denied they cited the damage wasn't consistent with the wind damage claim Henry submitted, they say only 26 tiles were damaged which is definitely less than my deductible.

It was an awesome experience. We had multiple companies come to us before about our roof, but Henry did not sound like a salesman. He was very knowledgeable, and walked through each step. I had engaged Interstate Roofing to examine recent roof damage from storms and to follow through the entire process of replacing the entire roof along with new gutters. I found the entire team, from the sales reps, management to the actual roofing and gutter crews to be highly competent, trustworthy, and efficient producing a high quality result. In particular, the Sales Representative Nico Palomino who was my primary contact through the entire effort, was excellent to work with in formulating the contract, selecting materials to instructing me of what to expect and when, and was very communicative in keeping me updated on the status of each phase. What made a huge difference was the expertise that Interstate had in navigating through the complexities and requirements of my insurance company in providing evidence that repairing the roof which was initially determined by insurance was not viable and a full replacement would be required. I doubt I would have been able to document those requirements by myself. The roofing crew performed the roof replacement in a single day and did an excellent job in cleaning up after completion. I selected Interstate to handle the gutters as well and their crew did an excellent job and completed the work in just a half day.

In all, finding and dealing with a reputable home contractor can be challenging at times but Interstate Roofing restored my faith that there are competent and reputable companies. They made the project painless and I was completely satisfied with the outcome. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

When we needed our roof replaced we had one request, "we want the job done right without having to be involved micromanaging the project", and our rep Charles VanMeter from Interstate roofing delivered and so much more. Charles assessed the damage, dealt with our insurance assessor, and managed the project, all while we continued with our busy scheldes without interpretation. The only involvement required of us was picking the shingle style & color. At the end of the project we got exactly what we wanted with no "high pressure" sales tactics and no regrets. Charlie VanMeter and the team at Interstate Roofing were amazing! From the moment Charlie knocked on my door he was professional, efficient and kind.

He walked my wife and I through the entire process. He was there along Marcus (expert roofer with many years in the industry) when my insurance company came out to evaluate. Marcus was well prepared and made the case for a full coverage of a new roof, and the insurance company agreed.

From there I had a complete new roof within less than a week. The actual installation took one day with their amazing crew. I was out of town, but Charlie took pictures every step of the way and kept me posted. They replaced some of the plywood decking, which I never would have known about had they not brought it to my attention.

We came home to a gorgeous new roof and a perfectly cleaned up yard.

And my insurance company paid for it all, minus my deductible. They even got some inside damage cost included by my insurance company (which I repaired myself) which made my actual outlay less than my deductible.

Interstate Roofing and TJ specifically were so helpful! A new roof is a big purchase, even with insurance, and is a huge decision for both curb appeal and protection of your home! They answered all my questions, filed the insurance paperwork for me and were prompt and thorough on the day of the build. All my neighbors have remarked on how great my roof looks!
