My roof I had replaced 2 years ago started to leak. I called and got (manager) on the phone who was going to let me know if I did in fact have a warranty. I did, for 5 years after install, but (manager) never called me again.
I phoned three more times and sent three emails (wow, that's a lot!) before I got a return voicemail from Lorrie 5/29/23 who scheduled an appointment without talking to me; I wasn't going to be in town. I phoned her back and left a VM, and never got a return call. I phoned Lorrie back 5 days later and Lorrie told me "I was just about to call you." *Insert head nod here* So she made an appointment for 6/14/23. It was supposed to be a nice day, so that would be great.
The Night Before on 6/13/23, Lorrie called and left a VM that they'd have to reschedule. I didn't call back... I'd been trying to get someone to my place for 5 weeks at that point.
Fortunately, the IR employee showed up anyhow that day of the 14th, was very nice and a professional, and he ran some caulk around bad spots. Couldn't decide between 2 or 3 stars.
I worked with Josh Bosley and his team to replace my roof, garage siding, gutters, garage doors, and even re-finish my deck. He was professional, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to get my what I wanted. Thanks to his efforts, I ended up paying zero out of pocket and getting everything replaced in a timely manner. Thanks Josh!
My initial "project manager", whom I had a contract with, promised all the claim work from my hail claim, along with discounts for keeping out a sign, but he and the company were anything but reliable, or on top of the job. The process to get work initiated was far from easy, with very little communication, despite numerous efforts to reach out. Eventually, the roof and gutter were completed, but once that happened it was as if the company picked up and left. Evidently, the original "project manager" was let go, which makes sense that he wasn't responding, after months of attempts to contact, but Interstate evidently never assigned a new "project manager" to my claim. After multiple efforts to speak with someone who could actually help, always being told "so and so will call you", I eventually was assigned a new contact. This person came out and we reviewed everything we did the first time. Well, after that it was more of the same... Zero communication, zero follow through on the claim, and the only follow through came when my agent contacted the company and essentially chewed them out. After that, my agent and I decided it was best to cut ties and move on. Interstate Roofing definitely seems like a "fly by night company", based on my experience, although I will say they were very communicative when it was time to receive their payment.
