We had to have our roof replaced a year after buying our home! There is so much wind where we leave and the shingles were literally flying off! Brett and interstate roofing were so great! They got it done thru our insurance and we switched to a metal roof instead! Their crew cleaned up everything as they worked each day and did a final cleaning after it was all done! After a heavy hail and windstorm, my ceiling started dripping, which made me worry about the condition of my roof. I contacted 4 different roofing companies in Albuquerque to come out, inspect the roof, and provide estimates. Interstate Roofing was by far the best! Isaac Vallie-Flagg is the shingle greatest roofer in the world :)...pun intended, but I’m not kidding!! Isaac was incredibly thorough, marking the roof with chalk to section it off and carefully inspecting every inch for damage. This detailed approach ensured nothing was overlooked, and each area that needed attention was clearly identified.

I was going back and forth with my homeowner's insurance, and Isaac went above and beyond for me. He made multiple trips to my home to take pictures and provide proof there was hail damage when my insurance company was trying to screw me over. He never pressured me into just accepting their first assessment. He is extremely knowledgeable and knew that the insurance company was wrong with their assessments. He could’ve just said, “Oh well, take what you can get,” but he didn’t. He went out of his way, and wasn’t even getting paid to do the job yet. Jason Grinnage helped me get my new roof and guided me through the entire process! He is a professional with demonstrated integrity, who is also kind, and genuine. He responded to my every text and email in a timely manner which put me at ease and built trust. He communicated well and often with updates about the claim, permitting, and scheduling.
And he was hands-on! He met the adjuster for the initial inspection to make sure everything was addressed which resulted in a through and comprehensive estimate. When materials arrived and for the two days of work, he supervised, inspected, answered my questions, and helped address issues only discovered after tear-off.
And I also couldn't be more pleased with his crew. You could see they were a team and enjoyed working together and while the work was arduous, they were always courteous, respectful, and joyful!
Then the test! Just days after the install, we had one of the worst wind, rain, and hail events in my 30 years living in NM. The week after we had several inches of snow, and everything is indeed, still snug and tight.

Over the summer the New Mexico wind tore off a section of my roof and allowed rain leakage.
I called Interstate. Isaac Valle-Flagg came by the same day and we were able to assess the damage, take immediate steps to mitigate any further damage, and set up a plan for long term repairs.

Isaac was great the entire process; walking through the insurance claim, detailing potential options following settlement, and taking extra time to explain every estimate, cost, and requirement under the contract. Exceptional communication throughout via text and email to keep me updated on the progress of material purchases and work scheduling.

The work was done in the time promised, neat, clean, and solid. Roof fixed. It’s been a month and zero issues.

Dax from Interstate Roofing was perfect, hassle free, no pushing up sales, professional and helpful. From the first phone call to the last day of getting the roof done was the easiest experience with all concerns and questions answered. He made the insurance process pain free helping me exactly when and where I needed it. Then with color selection for the roof and shingle type going out of his way to get me exactly what I wanted.

They got the permits, ordered the supplies and scheduled the date for my new roof to be installed. The work went smooth and on time (Lucky there was no rain as it had been raining a lot at the time) Work was completed within a day. Both my wife and I could not be happier with our new roof. It has been a few months and there's been zero issues with it.

After installation the billing was smooth with no hidden fees or charges. Dax came out multiple time and reached out to make sure that we were 100% satisfied with the work.

I wish that all other home contractors were this open, honest and caring with their customers.

Interstate Roofing did a top-notch job on my new roof, and were extraordinarily professional throughout the process. They always followed up when they said they would, showed up when they said they would, and completed the job when they said they would. There was an insurance component to deal with, too, and they expertly guided me through the process, making things really easy. Lando, Isaac, and Henry are true experts, and as mentioned above, true professionals.

Review of Interstate Roofing and Brett Vaughn

After a rain storm that caused a leak in our roof, we requested 4 companies to give us estimates to repair the roof. Two of the estimates said we needed the roof replaced. On July 9, 2024, Brett Vaughn of Interstate Roofing came to our house and examined the condition of our flat roof house. The estimate from Interstate was less than the other estimate for a full replacement. We discussed with Brett and the agent from another company why we needed the roof replaced. We also did a lot of research on our own about the need to have the roof replaced vs. just repairing the roof. The roof was 28 years old and our research seemed to show that the life span of a tar and gravel roof was about 20 years. Brett's estimate seemed thorough and complete, and his sales style was easy to deal with. He did not seem pushy like some sales agents. In addition, his company recommended TPO for the roof replacement. The other company recommended a foam-type material that is more expensive than the TPO. On July 26 we contracted with Interstate to do the work. Brett told us it would take 2 days to complete the installation. They scheduled the delivery of the material on August 12 with the work to begin the next day. After the material was delivered Brett called to tell us there was too much chance of rain to start on the 13th. The work began on August 14. A crew of 5 to 7 men worked for 4 days. They seemed professional and well-organized, and the foreman was easy to deal with. When they were almost done on the fourth day we climbed up the ladder and saw the shiny new white roof that looked really nice. Even though the work took 4 days instead of 2, there were no surprises and the total payment was the same as the original estimate. The workmen did a good job of cleaning up after the work was done. We are fully satisfied with the job.

Very happy with the quality of work and professionalism provided by Interstate Roofing. In our case the HOA is responsible for the roof and Isaac provided them with all the required paperwork, kept me informed throughout the process.

Hard working crew started and completed in timeframe originally provided. We had to have solar panels removed and reinstalled. So we only had them off less than a week, minimizing a loss of production.

Isaac even called after 1st rain to ensure we didn’t have issues or concerns.
