They tried to charge me 32 TIMES what they charged my boyfriend! My Boyfriend called ahead the morning of my visit, all I needed was a spare key for my 2000 Toyota pickup .. over the phone they told my boyfriend it would be $40.... When I arrived the service dept guy told me it would be $120!! I double checked, told the guy we called earlier & got a $40 quote, gave him the year, make and model of my truck again.... he went inside to check and came out and told me it was actually going to be $320 for my 1 key.... I left and called my bf, who left work early and came to Orr Toyota himself... He walked right into the parts department and they gladly made him my key for $10!!! Literally, 32 times less than what they were going to charge me!!!

We purchased a new 2025 Rav 4 in Jan. One of the "Perks" was free oil changes. When the time was near they called us to make an appointment for our oil change. We were told "First come first served" so we made our appointment for right at opening time 7:30am to get in and out quickly. We were up at 5:30, driving by 6:40am we arrived at 7:15. We waited for the doors to open. There was one man in front of us on a Monday morning, also getting his oil changed.
We dropped off the car, came back in an hour.

Our car was not even in the bay yet. My husband decided to shop a bit while we were there to pass the time.

We test drove a 4runner while still waiting for our "free" oil change. Unfortunately my husband bumped a light post. We had to take the 4runner to their body shop down the road where we called our insurance co. And got an estimate on damage. We decided to pay out of pocket to not have a claim $988 no dent, paint scratched off side of bumper. .. Whatever, fine. Paid it.
Went back to find our "free" oil change was STILL not even started after 2 hours. My husband goes to ask about the car they said it would be ready in 30 minutes.
We were not out of that place until 10:20am nearly THREE HOURS for an oil change first customers on a Monday morning.

I'm thinking that the FREE oil change taking extra extra extra long is so that nobody ever wants a free oil change ever again but they like to say it as part of a sales pitch.

We were able to drop the car, go out for breakfast, drive around, come back for a test drive, wreck the car we were test driving, take it to the body shop a few miles away for repairs, contact insurance, be on hold forever, get an estimate, pay for repairs, come BACK to the dealership and STILL had to wait another hour.

NEVER EVER AGAIN.

If you value the hours of your life, do not waste them getting your car serviced at ORR.

Toyota Dealership in Hot Springs, Arkansas reach out to me, about it was time my car to have car service. So the service department schedule me to come in, at 9am but I was arrive at 8:30am. Well I waited 1hour and 30mins. And I had an appointment, well my car wasn’t not touch yet. Still waiting. My point is what is the point of having an appointment. I understand it can get busy! Let a customer know something.

Why didn’t I learn the first time. I came here a year ago to get an oil change but they said my oil pan had a leak. They fixed it and charged us for that and the oil change almost $500. Now they are saying the same thing and it’s only been a year. RIDICULOUS. Kemp was useless and did not mention anything about my car being under warranty until I had mentioned that I took it to a different mechanic to take a look and see my oil pan and fix it in 30 minutes. I WILL NEVER BRING MY CAR BACK. They will milk for your money and try to get so much out of you. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING. READ CAREFULLY. I thought other mechanics were lying about Gregg Orr but they sure weren’t. They will try to dismiss your problems by “trying” to “fix it”.

THE WORST DEALERSHIP !! promised to fix the sunroof since it Was broken and wasn’t mentioned when We bought the truck. Called over a dozen times to talk to the GM or the service manager and they never wanted to talk to me or call me back. I Have screenshots of where the service manager said they would cover whatever the issue was with the sunroof. It ended up being more than what they thought so they changed their mind which is Absolutely BULL ! I will be talking to a lawyer shortly to get this resolved if they do not reach out to me. Will definitely be posting anywhere and everywhere to not go to Greg ORR Toyota in hot springs !!!

ONE STAR- because it makes you put one-

My elderly parents have bought five cars from this dealership over the years, so you'd think they'd be treated like VIPs. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case during their most recent visit. They were met with a salesman named Mike, who seemed more interested in pushing his own agenda than actually listening to what my mom wanted. Spoiler alert: she did not want any of the cars he was pushing.

Mike was rude, dismissive, and downright snarky—which is not the vibe when you’re helping seniors make a major purchase. Things went so sideways, my parents left and went to another dealership... where they were treated kindly, respectfully, and walked out with a brand-new 2025 car and a better deal.

To top it off, Mike later texted my dad asking if he was still interested (after they’d already purchased elsewhere), and when my dad said no, Mike sent back another snarky message. Classy.

So, Orr—if you're wondering why a couple of loyal, long-time customers suddenly took their business elsewhere, maybe take a closer look at the folks you have representing your dealership. Not everyone has the patience to deal with a salesperson who treats customers like an inconvenience.

I was shopping for a 2025 4Runner in one of the upper trim levels. My wife and I were shopping in Hot Springs, AR. and decided to stop into Gregg Orr Toyota. I was amazed to see they had a 4Runner TRD PRO in stock, which was the exact model I was searching for. Looking at the vehicle sticker I saw the MSRP price that I was expecting for this model. What I didn't expect was the dealer "add on's" sticker that showed the normal expected dealer "fluff" such as the nitrogen, window tint, blinking 3rd brake light etc. Also added to the dealer sticker was an upcharge of over $10,000 for a Tariff fee.
I walked around the lot and saw that this fee was added in some form to many of the vehicles on the lot. A sales person showed up in a golf cart and asked me what I was looking for. I asked about the tariff fee and mentioned that I hadn't seen that added to vehicles on any other central Arkansas Totota dealership I had visited. The response was that "they were preparing for the future".
Folks, while this practice isn't illegal, it is showing the true personality of this bussiness. Greed, preditory pricing and borderline dishonesty. The next day I shopped at another Toyota dealership in central Arkansas and bought my 4Runner slightly below MSRP and with no fake Tariff fees. Tarrif's may be in our future but I am confident that Gregg Orr had NOT had to pay a tariff on this vehicle or any other that was already sitting on the lot above what has been accounted for in the MSRP sticker.
This dealership is looking for a very particular type of customer. One having more money than brains or one that isn't willing to do a little shopping around to find an honest dealer willing to make a fair deal.
Sadly, I could have cut a check on the spot for that vehicle and drove it home that day. As it turns out, the salesmen were sitting around on thier hands with few customers and few commissions due to the business practices of this dealership. I hope this review saves someone the time and trouble of shopping at this business and becoming a possible victom of thier greed.

It was okay. I went to get my free car wash. I needed a battery. I was charged $353 for a battery for a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. $100 of that cost was just for installation. The price is ridiculous. I asked how long is the warranty and Kirsten said 1 year. I will never buy a battery or any other part for that vehicle at that dealership.

Please don’t take your car to Orr they overcharged us and at the end of the day they still have no answers!! My daughter took her car here twice and both times left with no answers all they could say was that maybe when they were diagnosing her car that maybe they left the cable off the alternator

Without a doubt, the best car buying experience I have ever had. This is how car buying should be. I buy a new car about every 2 years, alternating between myself and my wife; this round was my turn.

I got in touch with Catherine, absolutely wonderful to work with, to ask about a particular vehicle they had on the lot. She responded very quickly, is knowledgeable, up front and transparent about everything, and has a very positive attitude. A natural problem solver, she helped find solutions to our unique problems (distance, time, trade value, etc.). Best of all, she communicated using texting when it was more convenient, using email when I needed more detail about specifics on the car, and calls where necessary; all in an effort to respect my time and reduce disruptions to my day-to-day.

Next, she got me in touch with Ron to work out the finance details, again just a very positive experience - actually giving sound advice on finance options instead of just trying to push extra options that didn’t make sense for us. He too handled everything with as little disruption to my work as possible. This part always takes the longest, and Ron made it super simple and painless.

And let’s not forget Larry; he actually brought the new vehicle to my home (several hours away from the dealership). He dropped the vehicle on my driveway, worked with me to test drive it, and wrap up any paperwork - all while talking with my family and keeping them excited and engaged. Super nice guy, just a pleasure to work with.

I cannot say enough nice things about them; they truly made the entire experience a breeze. This is how car buying should be, a non-intrusive yet collaborative experience.

I’m not the one to leave google reviews & this will actually be my first one if that tells you anything. But this experience was truly a joke & so careless on their end. I went to go get something looked at on my vehicle on 3/5/25. My service advisor was Kemp. Useless. He states the issue I went for was normal & part of the wear on the tire tread. Okay I left it at that. (Which now I don’t believe he knows what he’s talking about at all & just wanted to dismiss my concerns.) With that being said. I showed him a bolt/screw that was missing by the tire that holds the black guard part. I’m not quite sure what the right term for it is but I’ll insert a picture. At first he tried to put it on himself, he was struggling to get it in. So he stated he did not have the right bolt/screw & took it to the back with a service tech. When they brought it back thankfully I looked at it before leaving the service garage. You can see where 1) the screw is not even holding anything together, it is just jammed in there basically. 2) not only is it not put in correctly or holding anything together it was forced so hard that they chipped my vehicle paint. I immediately went to go get Kemp to show him & I told him the screw is not even in there correctly. He said it is anchored in there. No it is not. You will see in the picture. I told him not only that they chipped my paint. His exact words were “they sure did didn’t they.” He said let me go see what I can do. He comes back & states the manager has to roll back the cameras & make sure that it happened there. & that the guy that did it is going to be in trouble. I said that’s fine I’ll wait here. He says it’s going to take a couple of days to look through the film. That he would call me. & that once they got it figured out he’d call me & they would order the paint & get it touched up. Well that was on a Wednesday. I called Friday to follow up & the service manager was in a “meeting.” How convenient. Here we are on Monday the following week & I have yet to hear back from them. They are just going to give me the run around. & honestly at this point I would not trust them to even add air in my tire. This incident is something so minimal that could’ve been avoided had they not been so careless. You think you’re going to professionals & trust they’ll do a good job but they end up doing something so stupid. Please believe all the bad reviews. Even if you have to drive farther out for your vehicle service needs please think twice before using Greg Orr Toyota service department in Hot Springs.

Purchased a new 2024 RAV4 Limited on November 26, 2024. Salesperson was great and everything went smooth. Now the financing has turned into a bad joke. Made the mistake of going through the dealer, three weeks and two days and we still haven't gotten the paperwork from neither Orr nor the credit union. First time we ever went through a dealer to finance a vehicle, and it will be our last.

The sales MANAGER Tanner talked a good game up until the sale of the vehicle. Sales team…does not return phone calls. After the sale customer service went out the window. It’s been over 30 days and I have yet to get my second key for my vehicle. I’ve made TWO trips back to Hot Springs for my key. Frustrated! I guess he’s still on that test drive from yesterday.

Tried to do an update but couldn’t find a link. I finally got my second key. Thank you Tanner. You kept your word.

Once again Lareem Staggers has got me right! The whole experience was simple and easy, and convenient. I told him my price range, the type of space i needed, and that i needed something as soon as possible and he definitely delivered, and he took it a step further by personally delivering the car to me in Little Rock. I am a repeat customer of Lareem's and as far as I'm concerned, a lifetime customer. He always goes above and beyond to take care of your needs! Shop with him and let him get you right too!

Dishonest Pricing - Cash Buyers Stay Away! ZERO STARS!!

I had an awful experience today at Gregg Orr Toyota in Hot Springs, Arkansas . I found a vehicle online with a price that seemed reasonable, so I went in ready to pay cash. I had been in contact with a salesman all week to coordinate the time to look at this vehicle upon its arrival. To my surprise, once I mentioned paying in full, the dealership jacked up the price and tacked on extra fees that weren’t disclosed anywhere. They flat out refused to honor the price they had advertised, unless we financed, which did not mention anything about being for “financing only.” The finance manager even said to me it’s not listed at that price anymore and I turned my phone around and showed it to him that it was in fact still listed as the price we agreed upon that had been advertised for over a week.

The sales staff became aggressive, practically bullying me into financing, insisting that I wouldn’t get a good deal unless I did. This bait-and-switch tactic is completely dishonest and frustrating. If they’re only offering certain prices to people who finance, that should be made clear upfront. Instead, they lure you in with misleading prices only to trap you into financing through them.

Buyer beware—if you’re planning to pay cash, avoid Gregg Orr Toyota Hot Springs, Arkansas. They are not transparent and will pressure you into a deal that benefits them, not you. This kind of behavior is unethical, and buyers need to be aware of this before wasting your time and going to look at a vehicle with them.

10/4/24 Update: nobody has addressed it yet!!!

Worst service department!!! Lost my keys and needed a replacement. Had my car towed on Friday late afternoon, was called by Tyler and quoted $1800 to have my 2006 Toyota Sequoia rekeyed. Was told they did not have the parts, so they would have to be ordered and would take 5 business days to arrive to the shop. My keys were found by a neighbor after her dog had carried them off on Monday evening. I called spoke to Tyler on Tuesday at 7:35 am, told him the keys were found and asked about picking up my car and what it would cost to get a second key made. He put me on hold to ask his service manager the price. He proceeded to quote me almost $400. He said that $178 was a restocking fee for the ordered parts, they didn't even have in their shop. I told him nevermind on the key because that was ridiculous. When I got to the service dept the employees were more concerned with their conversation about a game they were planning to promptly attend to a customer. Then i had to wait for them to track Tyler down for him to proceeded to tell me it would be $197 because of sales tax, that he failed to mentionon on the phone. And by his own omission, nobody had even touched my car, even though my receipt states an multipoint inspection was performed. Worse service experience. Side note I was not opposed to paying for a restocking fee but the amount for the restocking fee was ridiculous and the customer service was lacking severely!!

Lareem staggers was my salesman during my purchase at Gregg or Toyota .One of the biggest things that helped me during this process which only took 24 hours btw was the fact he delivered the vehicle I wanted to my job from hot spring to little rock . like I mentioned earlier from the moment I spoke with him about needing a vehicle to the moment the keys were in my hand was only 24 hours. So you don't have to live in hot spring for this dealership to get you into a vehicle .This not only was a fast process but I was able to skip having to sit and do paper work. after the delivery of the vehicle I signed my paperwork that was already ready to go . He gave me two months to pay for the fees with registering to get new tags which is plenty of time and he ensured me that if ever have any payment issues there is a grace period and they were here to help and work with us . He also mentioned that in 6 moths we can even talk about my payments being reduced .I did not know this morning waking up that I would be puling off into a brand new vehicle so I am very grateful for the reassurance and the quick pace of this entire transaction

This was my first time dealing with the service department and it will be my last. I debated leaving a review but felt like people needed to know. Especially for women and the elderly. Long story short, I brought my truck in because the engine light came on. Since my truck was bought there, why not take it to the same dealership, boy was I wrong. The sales department might be great but the service department is a joke. When I called to schedule my appointment, I was told just to bring it up, they will work it in. Why have appointments? I ended up calling again and ended up scheduling an appointment at 7:30 am that morning. Long story short, I got there at 7:30 and didn't leave until after 11:00. When I was on the phone scheduling my appt. with the advisor, I was told information that did not come true when I got there. I was actually lied to my face when I got there. Guess they didn't think I wouldn't ask another worker the same question. That's when I knew, something was fishy about this place. I sat there in the waiting room watching the advisors come in and out speaking to other customers. I watched how some treated them with respect and some just told them what they were doing instead of going through the details what was needed. It wasn't a pleasant thing. I hope when my grandparents went there, they didn't get told that. Back to my truck, I could never get a straight answer (clarification). I had a hard time accepting their answers because it didn't make sense what I was being told. Every time I would call up there to speak to someone, I always had to explain who I was, what truck was mine, why could they never find me in the system? And that's after my truck was there over two days. Basically, I ended up calling on a Monday, told them to have my truck ready, and I would be there to pick it up. Got there on Monday, and my truck was no where to be found. The lady at the desk had to make phone calls to locate my truck. I told her that I had already called my advisor and requested my truck be ready and have the documentation in my truck. Well guess what, nothing was ready. Apparently my advisor had went home for the day and another advisor had to do his job. I read the invoice and the note stated the "customer requested this, recommend this and etc." If I knew what was wrong with my truck, why would I take it to a dealership. I didn't know what was wrong with my truck until I spoke to other mechanics. So how they could put "the customer" when I'm not the mechanic and I never recommended anything. I ended up paying for the diagnostic testing because I do agree that the mechanics should get paid. I wasted money, my time on this dealership. The mechanics could be great at this dealership, could just be the manager and his advisors, who knows. This service department could be better but I will warn others about this place. For the people who are looking to take their Toyota's to this service department, be aware and do your research. Talk to other people, watch out for the pricing.

They did help us to get in a truck. However due to their error our title was suspended until they worked out things from when they purchased the vehicle. Truck had tons of mud we found later down in the windows, side air vents and they never properly cleaned the engine bay so every time we wash it mud comes out from there all down the side of the front of the truck. Was told multiple occasions it would be taken care of but they never return a call unless it regards a sale. Last time in having oil changed they said it would be handled. Got truck back without even a wash but gave us a card for free washes for a year but they can’t do trucks even though they sell a lot of big a lifted trucks. Have not had a very good experience. Turned out as well the truck had been in an accident but never reported doesn’t have the same front end or air damn as oem.
Truck broke down due to excessive mud caked into an against the DEF fluid pump. I would recommend buying anywhere else if you're getting a diesel and never take one in for service. They have zero diesel mechanics on staff and have to wait for when ever the mechanic they have contracted to come in for anything to be repaired.
They've had my parts in for 3 days now and I'm going to have to wait until sometime next week for it to be repaired and hopefully get detailed correctly. Never once have I been updated on the progress have had to call multiple times even though I was told they'd call me. At this point I'll never purchase another vehicle from this dealership. Nothing but headaches and waiting on them to get someone to do repairs and get things done correct. Truck has been there for about 3 weeks. Have yet to hear from any management. Employee Kristen is the only one that’s tried to fix the issue. However they can’t get a mechanic there to stay long enough to in order to repair the truck. It’s been fixed multiple times already oh wait that was before they started the truck. All I know is one more week and I’ll be getting a lawyer to file for lemon law . I’ve never dealt with a dealership in all the states I’ve lived in as bad as this one. Please skip this dealership if you’re looking for a new vehicle. You will get blind sided and treated worse than any place you can think of because you might as well not be there. They will never respond or give you an answer back just leave you to hope an guess. I’ve been told many times I’d be given an update only to never hear from a soul. An I’ve got nothing but constant lies in regards to my purchased truck. If you’d like any more info feel free to ask I have many pics an saved messages.

Recently traded a vehicle for a new 4 Runner SR5 Premium. I have to say this was the best sales experience I’ve ever had. My salesman was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and just a pleasure to work with. Ask to see EVAN DEVORE! I got the best car deal I’ve gotten in 41 years of driving!

Came to see nick at the dealership, I was told he was busy so I got with a Mr Evan devore and he was just the best! For my very first car I was astounded with the amount of effort he had put with us! Originally we had decided to not buy the car but Evan was just so good he immediately changed our minds! He worked through thick and thin to help us and we finally bought one!

Thank you Toyota and more importantly thank you Evan Devore

Do not buy a vehicle from them.. bait and switch. The sales rep claimed that she could remove the dealer add-ons, they came back at the end and stated they had to provide a market adjustment. When I spoke to the sales manager, he was very degrading and rude. I was in the Navy for over 8 years and have never been spoke to in such a way that I felt like a child. Honestly, an apology is all that was needed but instead he hung up on me and left me feeling thankful that I did not do business with this dealership.

Complete and total waste of time. Do not trust them, they tell you one thing and then do another. Please save yourself the heartache and find a dealership that actually treats you with respect.

Great service from both Steve Hanke and the sales manager Mike. Walked in to get a bottom line price on a Friday night and they handed me the best price they had on the vehicle I was interested in. They both answered all my questions and even gave me some advice on things that I had overlooked, or didn’t even think to ask, and also gave me information about financing and on another vehicle I was interested in even though it was at another dealership. Unfortunately the vehicle I had looked at was sold before I could get back with them to purchase it but Steve went ahead and found me something that definitely exceeded my expectations and that I will definitely enjoy for the foreseeable future. They made this purchase simple, quick and easy. I will definitely be recommending anyone I know to go visit them if they are looking for a new or used vehicle.

Went in for a tune up on my tundra and developed a miss on two cylinders. Service department told me I had a leaking head gasket causing it and clear signs of a coolest leak. Didn't make sense to me so I went to a different mechanic who found I had bad spark plugs and absolutely no sign of a head gasket leak. Changed the two plugs and have had no issues sense. After many years of giving using them I won't be back after this.

I took my 4Runner in to have the battery checked. After having the diagnostic done, the service rep came back saying my alternator wasn't working and my battery was bad. When asked then why was my car starting everyday except twice and the battery was able to be jumped, he wasn't able to explain. All he kept repeating was the alternator needs replaced. I was doubtful and told him I was going to check it somewhere else. He was disgruntled about my decision and said my car probably would have to be towed in after I shut the car off. Went to HS Tire and had them run a diagnostic. It showed my alternator was working great and only needed the battery changed. What happened to honest people?

Big shout out to salesman Darrell Lambert. Darrell got me fixed up in a beautiful 2022 Lexus RX350. The entire experience went quickly and very smooth. I've been a customer here for 25 years, and I will continue to use Gregg Orr Toyota for all my automotive needs. Michael Peters Arkadelphia, AR

Darrell Lambert was amazing! He was kind and good to work with. He helped me purchase a 2019 Nissan rogue, and I couldn't be happier! We had good conversation, and I am proud to be a customer of Gregg Orr Toyota of Hot Springs!

I purchase vehicles from this dealership regularly, send friends, family, and other people looking for cars to buy here as well. Bobby and Tanner always take care of everyone I send to do business here! 5 stars all the way around!

Very disappointed. The sales experience was pressured and the service after the sale was abysmal. The dealership agreed to some minor paint touchups that would have to be done after the sale as part of the negotiated agreement. The paint work was not done as promised and now no one will call, text or email me back. Avoid Salesperson Darrell Lambert and Finance Manager Daniel Reed.

Pitiful! Just pitiful! Deception. Sleaze. Unfulfilled promises. If you’re looking for a worthwhile car buying experience, keep looking. (See similar comments at this site) If you finance in-house (they actually farm it out to Arvest Bank) you deal with an obese guy wearing a lot of gold jewelry who looks like he may have a heart attack at any moment. He states that you can opt out of the monthly cost of their warranty program at any time, which is technically true. But what you discover on your own is that they calculate the warranty cost for the term of the loan (an additional $4000+ for us) and add it up front to the mortgage which increases state sales tax. Withholding the truth is not far from lying. Our salesman was pleasant and polite (good cop/bad cop) but a month and a half slow on fulfilling his promise to find the spare keys and owner’s manual. Our routine calls produced routine stalls, and he only delivered when we showed up angry in person. This dealership is far less than professional.

I helped my mom go shop for a car here and they were every image you could conjure up of the stereotypical used car dealer.
We’d made an appointment to look at a specific SUV and when we got there it took them (no joke) 5 hours to “find the vehicle.” In the meantime, they thought they’d “be nice” and show us some other options.
The salesman showing us around was very pushy and kept trying to show us vehicles outside the strict parameters we’d set.
When they finally “found the vehicle” they tried to sell us Bumper to Bumper warranty which they said was something like $100 a month but we could cancel at any time. What we didn’t know was that they charged us for a whole 4 years of it up front. That required another 1.5 hour drive back up there to get that fixed. (It still didn’t fix the money lost in sales tax due to that big false charge).
And when they finally did deliver the vehicle, they forgot the temporary tags and the second set of keys requiring another 1.5 trip back to Hot Springs to fix another of their mistakes.
If you want to save yourself some money, headaches, and anger, DO NOT SHOP WITH THESE CROOKS.
